"Hi! So ikaw yung bago?" Masiglang approach sakin ng isang babaeng payat at matangkad. She looks like a model, maganda sya and she looked super approachable. Nahiya lang talaga yung height ko sa kanya.

"Hello, yes ako yung bago"

"I'm Rachelle nga pala." Pagabot nya ng kamay sakin which I gladly accepted.

"Zoey."

"Hoy, Paeng! Tara dito!" Tawag nya sa isang lalaking moreno na naka kulay peach na button up polo with the sleeves rolled upwards. He just came inside.

"Tantanan mo nga ako sa Paeng na yan!" Inis nyang baling sa babaeng kausap ko.

"Whatever"

"Hi, I'm Rafael and it's nice meeting you" he smiled at me widely that it reached his ears.

"Hi, I'm Zoey" pakilala ko din. Now I get where the "Paeng" came from. It's Rafael pala. Right now, katabi ko ng desk si Rachelle and si Rafael sa kabilang side.

"Uy ano, di nyo ko papakilala?" Said by the pink haired petite girl across us.

"Ay, nandyan ka pala. Di kita nakita." Pangbabara sa kanya ni Rafael.

"Hoy, kingina ka porket ang tangkad nyong dalawa ah!" She blurted out, that made me laugh a little. Maliit din kasi sya, same height ko lang siguro.

"I'm Janice pala, Zoey" pakilala nya. She already knew my name dahil sa dalawang nauna.

"Hi!" They kinda reminds me of my former office mates which were Lyn, Benny and Cherry from AE Architecture. I suddenly missed the three, they were so good to me in my stay.

I started working there when a girl on heels approached me. "Hey, you there!" She pointed me out but to make sure, I pointed myself as if I'm asking kung ako ba talaga yung tinatawag nya. She was on the other side of the row of our cubicles or working area.

"Yes, you." She rolled her eyes as if saying that I'm stupid pero hindi ko nalang pinansin kasi baka she's having a bad day. Agad akong lumapit sa kanya and asked her concern.

"Give this to Mr. Rushford. Siguraduhin mong madala mo sa kanya 'to ng maayos kundi malalagot ka sakin." She handed me a pile of papers. Siguro kasing kapal ng isang rim ng bond paper. "Tell him it's from  Ms. Odette Santos and it's me, newbie" her brow rose up as she looked at me from head to toe which kinda offended me the way she looked at me like that pero hindi ko nalang pinansin.

After handling me the papers ay nilayasan nya na ako. I went up at kumatok, when I heard his response ay agad akong pumasok.

"Sir, here are the papers. It's from Ms. Odette Santos." Magalang kong sabi. I know how to separate my work from my personal life. I'm just being professional.

He didn't bother looking up to me dahil tutok ang atensyon nya sa monitor ng kanyang computer. "Uhm, sir? Where should I put this?" Finally, nag-angat sya ng tingin sakin at saka tiningnan ang hawak ko. He seems so busy.

"Here, place it on my desk." Pumunta ako sa gilid ng lamesa nya at marahang inilapag ng maayos ang mga papel. I saw other piles of papers and folders sa lamesa nya kaya naman nagpaalam na ako at umalis dahil ayaw kong maistorbo sya. He's been away for a week after all.

I kept on recieving papers to be sent to his office the whole morning kaya kanina pa ako pabalik balik. I saw how Kyle's been stressed everytime I enter his office to bring papers.

When it's lunch time ay imbis na kumain, I went to his office again to see if he went out to eat or if he's eating in his office. I bought a complete meal for him dahil feeling ko hindi sya makakakain.
