Chapter 25 | ꜰᴀᴍɪʟʏ ᴛɪᴍᴇ

All the way home, I can't stop staring at Helena.

"Stop staring love" she chuckled.

"I can't" I grinned.

She just laughed and shook her head.

"You'll get bored with this face soon or later" she said.

"I doubt that!" I told her.

We arrived at her house and get inside.

"When will the kids come home?" I asked.

"They'll be back tonight" she said.

"Can I cook for dinner?" I suddenly said.

"Of course. But why so sudden?" She ask with confusion.

I shrugged. "You and your family is the only few people I have in this world. I just want to show you my.. umm.. gratitude" I smiled widely.

Helena hugged me. "That's very sweet of you but you don't have to do that, you know?!" She said.

"It's okay. I love you and the kids and your mum. Let me do it. Please" I beg.

"Alright.. as you wish love" she said.

"Yeay! I'll go prepare the dinner, you go take a nap!" I winked.

"How do you know I want to take a nap?" She chuckled.

"I know you too well honey" I give her a quick peck, "now go! Shoo.. I'll wake you up when the dinner is ready".

She rolled her eyes, "don't burn down the house please" she said jokingly.

I laughed and push her so she can walk faster to the bedroom.

2 hours passed and the dinner was ready. I hear a knock from the front door. I open it and it's Elena and the kids.

I hugged them all and they walked in.

"Go wash your hand and then we'll eat dinner" I said to the kids and they did as I say.

"Oh darling.. you cook for us?" Elena asked.

"Yes.. I hope you like it" I smiled shyly.

"I'm sure they're delicious" she said and sit on the table.

"I'll wake Helena" Elena nodded.

I walked to Helena's bedroom and wake her up.

"Helena.. the dinner is ready! The kids already here too! Wake up!" I shake her body.

"Mmmm" she open her eyes slowly.

"Come on they're waiting for you" I said.

She got up and walk lazily to the kitchen. I followed her.

"It smells nice. What are you making?" She asked.

"Pasta with my own recipe" I smiled proudly.

We all sit on the table and start eating. Everyone seems to love the food especially the kids.

"This is so yummy!" Nell said.
