Hearing someone sneaking into My Room I immediately lean up from my bed.
"Who's there?" I cautiously asked. The Count of Monte Cristo appears in front of me.
"Hmph. I should have known you would open your eyes if I made a sound. That said, it is morning now, so you may as well get up anyway."
"Morning. You're up awfully early." I said.
"I have no need for sleep, unlike you. Which is why I had time to make this. I never drink the stuff myself, but I've gotten used to making it after spending so much time around the authors." He places two cups of coffee down on my table.
"Here. A little wake-me-up. I would advise you to drink it while it's still hot, but as they say nowadays, you do you. You don't even have to drink it at all if you'd prefer. Go ahead and add as much sugar as you like. Milk too, while you're at it."

"You made coffee? For me?" I asked, shocked.
"...It's to thank you for that cacao sweets you gave me last night, when the date changed. I thought my tastes had changed considerably from when I was still alive in Marseilles... but its flavor still reminded me of something." Count explained.
"So you had it when you were still alive?" I ask him.
"...I can't say. Now, you should get up. You're going to be very busy today. Unless... hehe, you plan on idling the day away in bed?" He smirks.
"You're right, I'll get up." Sometimes, I wish I could stay in bed all day, but considering the situation we're in the only time for rest is when a Lostbelt has been defeated.
"Good. Oh, and I'm not going to wash those cups, so make sure you take care of that yourself. This day belongs to you. Enjoy it as best you can." After saying that he walks out of the room and I enjoy my coffee in sweet silence.
