My next person to give chocolate to is Hajime, so I went out to find him. I yell out to him as I saw him walking through the hall. Hajime stops walking and turns to me smiling.

"Yo, Master-chan! Whatcha doin' over here? Hajime-chan? As you can see Hajime-chan's busy with all kinds of stuff. Oh yeah, what was that again? Valentine's Day, right? It's when you exchange chocolate or another with your significant other. It's cute if the person's just giving out chocolate like normal, but some people take it too far. If you ask me, Heroic Spirits are more or less a group of messed up individuals, don't you agree? They may think they're normal, but they've deviated somewhere down the line. So, that's why the Vice Commander told me to keep an eye on those people and make sure they don't get too carried away."

"When you put it that way..." I trailed off, knowing he's right.

"I know, right? This does feel like something the Shinsengumi would do. But that's just an excuse. To be honest, I'm only keeping watch to entertain myself." Hajime said.

"Whaat?" I drawled out.

"Well, truth to be told, it's more like half-and-half. Half work, half pleasure. Which is why Hajime-chan is so busy, I'll have to excuse myself. Later then~" Hajime walks away.

I pouted, "I missed my chance to give it to him..."

When night comes around I head to the cafeteria and saw him there in his suit sitting at a table. Hearing my footsteps he turns around and is a little surprised to see me here.

"Huh? Master-chan, what're you doing here so late at night? In fact, didn't we talk like this during the day? What's up? You got some business with Hajime-chan, perhaps?" He asked me

"Huh? Master-chan, what're you doing here so late at night? In fact, didn't we talk like this during the day? What's up? You got some business with Hajime-chan, perhaps?" He asked me.

"This ended up being late, but this chocolate is for you!" I exclaimed, and gave him the treat.

"Chocolate for me? Wow, thanks a lot for this, sorry I made you go through all that trouble. Hm? Is that why you came to me earlier today? I messed up, huh. If you'd told me I would've skipped work and invited you to eat. I know just the thing. Wanna join me, Master-chan? It's not a proper gift, but I asked the person on kitchen duty to save it for a late night snack."

I nod and took a seat next to him. He smiles and hands me hot bowl of ramen.

"Yup, it's ramen

"Yup, it's ramen. I've always been a sucker for soba and udon noddles, so when I first came here and ate this ramen I became addicted. I've eaten so many different kinds, but simple shoyu ramen really is the best. Alright, let's eat before the noddles get soggy."

Using my chopsticks I took a bite out of my ramen and let out a refreshing sigh. It's taste so good!

"Ahh, there's nothing like eating ramen at night. Once again I couldn't resist eating it at this hour." He said.

"I feel like I'm a little kid doing something wrong." I said. Eating here with Hajime at night reminds me of the times Izuku and I would sneak out snacks from his kitchen whenever we had sleepovers as kids. I unconsciously smile as I remembered those days.

Hajime noticed me smiling and said, "that's over exaggerating, you should eat what you want, when you want. In the past I used to slurp up a lot of soba in between work. Y'know, I don't think I thanked you properly. Thanks for the chocolate, Master."

"I hope you like it." I replied.

"Course I'm happy, it'd be like the Vice Commander being in such high spirits he'd send a letter back home boasting about it. Ah, keep that a secret. If anyone hears about that, I'll have to commit harakiri. Anyway, be careful when it comes to love affairs, Master-chan. Long time ago, there was this one serious guy in my group, the Commander had a lot of trust in him... but one day he brought over a woman.

But not just any woman, the woman of some guy he'd killed. Said he'd take care of her himself. Well, who knows what they were both thinking at the time. I still don't know even to this day, but afterwards they committed double suicide. I mean, I don't mean to criticize you, Master-chan.

It's just me trying to tell you that love affairs aren't bound by reason. When it comes to men women, you never know where you're gonna end up once you start chasing. There's nothing you can do no matter what happens next. The last thing I wanna see is Master-chan ending up like that. Anyways.

I doubt something like that'll happen to you. Seriously, you're a great Master, even going so far as looking after me. Yo, Great Master! Hm, doesn't have a nice ring to it. Let's wrap things up then, shall we? Sorry about getting you to join me in the middle of the night."

"The ramen was delicious." I state, grinning at him.

He smiles back, "let's hang out again if we have the chance."

Before I could leave, Hajime suddenly grabs my arm preventing me from leaving. I look back at him curious and noticed how he now took on a serious form different from his carefree attitude. Hajime begins to speak his tone deep and serious.

"Hey, Master. About the Human Order, it's not something you should have to deal with. If you feel like... truly feel like you can't take it anymore, tell me. I'll run and take you somewhere far away. No one has me beat when it comes to surviving, y'know. That kind of life is also an option."

The room was silent and tense as we stood there staring at each other. I looked at him speechless. It was the first time anyone has ever given me the option of just leaving and running away from the situation we're in. I went through 5 Lostbelts and each of them were stressful. It's hard dealing with the stress and trauma I go through every time we erase a Lostbelt, civilization from existence just save our world.

There are times when I wished I was back home with dad, hanging out with Izuku, and teasing Bakugo. I wished I could just run away and never come back. Sometimes I just want to cry and breakdown, but I can't. I have to be strong for Chaldea, my Servants, and the people who died. To leave would be an insult to the people who helped me.

So, I answered Hajime's suggestion with a smile like I always do and said, "thanks." His serious face changes back to his usual carefree smile and lets go of me.

"Whoops, I blurted out something strange, didn't I? I tend to blurt out needless things if I'm not careful. Later then."

Saying our goodbyes l head back to my room leaving him alone in the cafeteria.

3rd Person POV

Saito is alone in the cafeteria in the middle of the night after (Y/n) left.

He smirks, "hah... what's so great about men and women? I must be losing my touch too. It's impossible to tell which came first.... doing something for someone's sake isn't really my style, but I'll wield this sword of freedom for your sake... okay, Master?"

A late night return gift from Saito Hajime. It's your everyday shoyu ramen, but it's the simple dishes like these that are the most difficult to perfect. This is what Hajime-chan, a member of the Noodles Shisengumi, had to say. But what the heck is the Noodles Shinsengumi?

"I don't know how to put this, but I'm wondering why a nice kid like yourself is slurping up ramen with someone like me at this hour. Nah, I'm find with it, personally. I'm a pretty popular guy, after all. Oh, your face is saying you don't believe me. In that case... never mind, I'll just stop.

Anyways, it's not that bad, being on friendly terms with you. Which is why I'll continue to support you, Master-chan, 'kay?"
