I send Emily a text, just telling her hi, and I love her. I know she won't see it but just in case. Savannah and Derek were at work.

I'm here
James responded. It was early, but he said he wanted to take me somewhere, and it was far.

I grabbed my phone and some snacks and went to his car. " hi."

"hi." he leans in and kisses me. It felt right now.
he puts the car in drive, and we make our way to the destination he only knows.

" hello, my name is Jessica Flores."

" your the drug dealer?" he closed the parcel of drugs and pulled out a weapon.

"I don't think you want to do that." I draw out my weapon and shot two of his men in the feet. Making sure not to kill them. Just disable.

He has a second guy behind me; I felt his gun behind my head. Don't get yourself killed, Emily. I flip his gun around, kicking him in the ballsack, taking my other gun from my shoe, and pointing at him. I should thank Reid for the idea.

" ok," he motions his fingers, and the men disperse.
He opens the parcel again. Seven high-quality bricks of cocaine. What did I just sign up for?

I give the money to him. he makes sure it's authentic. He nods, and I take the parcel and exit. I know the rest of Interpol will be coming to bust this warehouse. I just hope they don't lead it back to me.

he arrived at a beach; it was private and secluded.  I look at him. " how did you find this place?"

"I know someone who knows someone." he walks towards the middle of the beach and puts a blanket on the floor, and takes a seat. I sit right next to him. Leaning into his shoulder.

" you bring all your girlfriends here?" he looks at me, his smile fading. " I was joking." I punch him in the shoulder.

"I don't really- I've never really-"

" you've never had a girlfriend?!" this comes as a shock to me. This comes naturally to him?

" Nope." I let out a slight grin. " what's so funny?" I look at him... I change the subject leaning into his shoulder. that fact that he's never dated anybody gives me comfort for some reason.

"I like the ocean,"

" why." I nestle my feet in the sand.

" it has a lot of secrets; you only know about the surface. But, theirs so much stuff and thing happening down below." I look at him. he had a sense of curiosity wiped across his face.

" so you're the ocean?"

" what do you mean?"

" there's so much I don't know about you; I'm only on the surface." I didn't want to finish this conversation.

" you want to know about me?" he nods; he looked genuinely serious. It was a good look on him. I stand up and take off my shirt and my pants. Only leaving me in my bra and underwear. My thigh-gap was still there, so; I wasn't too worried about the judgment, especially from him.

My body was covered in scars in their different stages of healing: my thighs, my hips, and my lower back.  I took a deep breath and turned around. I didn't know what he was going to think; I guess this was the deal-breaker.

" there's nothing wrong with those," He takes off his shirt and his pants. Too reveal ghostbusters boxers.

" but there is something definitely wrong with those." he charges at me, and I make my way towards the water. I was so happy with him. the waves were crashing in. it was so cold.

I could feel him pick me up in the water and dunk me down. Great, now my hair's wet. I float back up and but I couldn't see him.

I turn around; he was right there; I was about to dunk him in the water too. Until he swoops in for a kiss, I could feel his hands on my waist.

After about thirty seconds, I detach. he stares at me like I was the one he was longing for his whole life. this was the perfect moment to dunk him. I jump and submerge his head underwater.

James drops me off. I really liked him. a little too much. Only Savannah's car was in the driveway. Great. I walk inside the house.

" and where were you?"

" Hello to you too!"

I open my apartment door and sit on the couch; the tv was play reruns of full-house.

" look, who finally decided to come home?" Cody says. Collapsing on the single-chaired recliner.

" Sorry, I was out." I was focusing on my phone. We had taken some pictures; she was gorgeous.

"you're too busy to hang out with your best friend?" I looked at Cody; he was my best friend since third grade. I should tell him. but, I continue to look at the pictures.

I feel a pillow meet my face. I shoot it back at Cody and get into the upright position. " ok, I met this girl a couple of months ago." Cody sits up, and he looks even more intrigued than me. " her name's Jessie, and she's the best thing that's ever happened to me."

" what do you mean? she's just some girl."

Jessie wasn't just a girl. She gave me happiness. she had a light inside of her; I've never seen anybody like her. Everything she does is perfect. Ever since she walked into my life, there hasn't been a dull moment. And I know she still has a lot of secrets and stuff to hide, but some of them will come up just like the ocean.

I pull out my phone and go to my photo album; I give Cody the phone; since a picture is worth a thousand words.  I could see Cody's finger swiping through the pictures of us.

" what does this mean?" he says, tossing the phone back to me.

" I think I love her."
