I laid back in my seat as I propped my legs up on the table and wrote some lyrics into my notebook.
"Milo?"
He looked up from his novel, shaking his hair out of his eyes. He had gotten a loop pierced on his left eyebrow. I'm pretty sure he had an obsession with piercings now. "Yeah?" he asked groggily.
"What's a good word that rhymes with broken?"
He counted with his fingers for each word he had in mind, "Spoken, token...."
"Soakin'," Celean smirked, budging in.
"Nasty self," I giggled.

I decided to text him.
Me: Would but Levi is picking me up today.
Grandaddy J: Come by the studio then?
Me: Yep. Count on it.
Celean leaned over to my shoulder, "Who's you textin miss girl? You smiling all wide and shit."
Milo's eyes widened. "She hasn't told you yet?"
I blinked, "Huh?"
"Oh, come on, the rumors are already spreading."
"What rumors?!" Celean shouted.

I gulped, "I'll tell you later."

I exited the school after saying bye to Milo and Celean, seeing Levi leaning against the driver's door of his car waiting for me. He looked so fine underneath the sunlight, it made me nervous almost.
