Macho Milo 🤑:
You're not home yet?!

God bless it. He sounded like someone's mother.
Levi was watching me and his face started to get hot. A clear blush was creeping up his slightly tan neck.
I laid my head on his lap, closing my eyes.
"Getting sleepy?" he asked.
I rubbed my cheek against his leg as I nodded.
"Aww...my little baby just stays exhausted, doesn't she?" he reached into his pocket and gave me his keys, "Go ahead and get in the car. I'll be out in a sec."
I nodded and left the studio, hearing Jeremy talking to someone.
"Mad beef. First Levi steals his place, then he steals his girl. Ruthless."
My eyes widened.
"He plays too much, he needs to chill out," I heard him add.
I quickly rushed and got into the passenger seat, trying to calm my fastly beating heart.
Was I actually getting played? Was I just someone's revenge? Was that the huge secret..?
Of course it hasn't even been a day, but I didn't want this to be over so early. I liked him...a lot.
I knew it was too good to be true.
I took a deep breath and the driver door opened, making me squeal.
Levi hurried inside and shut the door behind him, "You okay?"
I only stared at him.
"Baby?"
I felt my throat tighten, "Don't call me that."
He stayed quiet and turned on the car, heading to my house.
It was so silent for a while, but he could only take so much.
"What happened? Tell me the full truth."
"If you tell me yours, Levi."
"I've told you everyth-"
"Have you?" I started to cry.
I hated myself for it. I'd start sobbing and talking so fastly that I didn't even know what to do. Guess he was right when he said my emotions were all on my sleeves.
I had never trusted someone. Always distancing myself to better shield my emotions. All trust brought was issues.
I let my guard down, and now I'm suffering the consequences. That's all I could believe right now as overthinking chose to take over my mind.
Levi pulled over on the curb of the road and unbuckled, turning to me, "I really haven't kept anything important from you, Amora."
He watched my hands shake in my lap and he softened his voice, "I love you."
My eyes widened.
He loved me? He couldn't have.
Sure, I've known him for several months now, but I didn't think I was that much of a deep crush to him all throughout that time.
"That's the only secret I've kept from you..." he sighed, "Now what is it you're truly wanting to know?"
"Nothing. Just let me down easily and say you're using me, Levi."
He started to laugh and it shocked me.
He ran a hand over his face and leaned back in his seat, sighing. "Baby, baby, baby..."
