Valentines Special: Inkmare

Happy Valentine's day! :3

Nightmare glared at the inky portal that had appeared on the floor in his throne room. He didn't even bother getting up.

"Hey Nightmare!" Ink exclaimed. He was holding his brush in one hand and his other hand was hidden behind his back.

"What are you doing here?"

"I came to see you obviously."

"Well you did so you can go now."

Ink frowned. "But.. I got you something."

Nightmare stared at him, a confused expression on his face. "You got me something?"

"Mhm!" Ink placed a red heart shaped box in Nightmare's hands.

He stared at him.

"Well uh I gotta go now.. See ya!" Ink exclaimed. He wasted no time jumping back through his portal.

Nightmare rolled his eyes. He grabbed Ink's feet with his tentacle and pulled him back through the portal.

Ink blinked. He stared at Nightmare upside down.

"Uh.. hey.. Nightmare.."

"What is this?"

"Uhm.. Chocolate?"

He stared at him. "It doesn't look like chocolate."

"That's cause you have to open it silly."

Nightmare hesitantly opened the small red heart shaped box. Inside it were a few different types of chocolate, dark, milk, and white. They were all in different unique shapes. It had a bunch of moon and star shapes and also what looked to be an octopus.

"What's with the octopus?"

Ink giggled. "That's kind of hard to explain.."

Nightmare smirked. "Was it supposed to be a squid?"

"No!"

He laughed.

Ink puffed out his cheeks. "You're not funny."

"No, I am." Nightmare stated. Dropping Ink onto the floor.

"Ow." Ink mumbled, rubbing his head. He stood up. "What was that for?"

"Oh nothing."

Ink rolled his eyes. "Well then.. I'm gonna go now."

Nightmare grabbed Ink's arm.

He turned around. "What?"

Nightmare whispered something under his breath.

"What did you say?"

"I said thank you." He hissed.

"Even while you're thanking me you still sound really angry."

"Shut up."

Ink giggled.

He glared at him. "Just leave already."

"I thought you wanted me to stay?"

"I never said that." Nightmare huffed, crossing his arms.

"Well you did grab me and drag me back through my portal when I was about to leave and then you grabbed my arm when I was about to leave again.. so I was kinda getting that impression. "

"Well you were wrong."

Ink frowned. "Oh."

"I thought you said you have to go?"

"I only said that because I thought if I stuck around any longer you might attack me.. and i'm not really in the mood for that right now.."

"You thought I would attack you for giving me chocolate?"

"Yep pretty much."

Nightmare sighed. "You didn't put paint in these did you?"

He froze.

"Ink."

"Uh.. I don't remember.."

Nightmare sighed. "You're hopeless."

"I am not!"

"Yes you are."

Ink sighed. "Does that mean you're not going to eat them?"

"Of course not. I have no idea what you put in these."

Ink frowned. "But I made them for you.."

"Why? Why did you make me chocolates in the first place?"

Ink's face flushed slightly. "Uh.. It was Dream's idea!"

"You're lying."

"Why did you even ask me? I'm sure you already figured it out."

Nightmare smirked. "I just wanted to hear you say it."

"I hate you."

He laughed. "That's obviously a lie."

"I knew this was a stupid idea.." Ink mumbled.

"You've had way worse ideas besides.." Nightmare pulled Ink closer to him. "..this is nice."

Ink flushed. His face was only a few inches away from Nightmare's. "You really mean that?"

"Yes." Nightmare stated leaning in closer and quickly kissing Ink, before moving away slightly. "If you even attempt to tell anyone about this especially Dream I will-"

"I won't! I promise!" Ink exclaimed. While raising his arms up in the air as a defense.

"Good."
