Temptation

"Xia," he spoke to her English, and she missed hearing his sexy accent. She paused for a moment to look at his face and his beautiful features. She couldn't help but notice how cute he looks with his black hair slicked back. Not to mention how good he looks without makeup.

Is it possible that what Bam said is true? Should she think about having fun and finding out who she wants to be with? Seeing Chan in her office made a wave of emotions come over her. There wasn't any way she could lie to herself about having feelings for him.

Chan moved closer to her desk, but he didn't say anything else. Their direct eye contact is so heavy right now. She could only imagine what he's thinking right now.

"Yes?" Xia simply replied, unsure what to say to him.

"How are you?" he gazed into her eyes. Thankfully her desk is in between them, because if she was any closer to him. She wasn't sure what she would have done.

"I am good, and yourself?" Xia replied, but she didn't want to engage in small talk with him. She tried to focus on the fact that she belongs to Jaebeom, and that he's here in the same building.

On the other hand, there's something about Chan that she's drawn to. What is it about him? Why is he so attractive?

"Park Jinyoung offered me a deal. My lawyer is still looking over it," His smile made her lit up. She had received his text message, but it hit harder to hear him say that.

She walked around her work desk and extended her arms to him. "Congratulations. I had a feeling he would sign you." Chan pulled her into his arms, and he held her for a moment. She closed her eyes and inhaled his scent. The mixture of soap and cologne smelled so good on him. Why did she feel so safe and secure in his arms? Their hug lasted for moments, and they both swayed for a bit.

"I missed you," Chan said. His words felt like home to her, and she couldn't deny that she missed him too. Would she be able to tell him that?

Xia snapped out of her daydreams and pulled away from him. She sighed and said, "I am back with Jaebeom," she lifted her head to see his reaction.

A smirk appeared on his face, and he lifted her chin. "Can I blame him for wanting what's mine?" he ran his fingertips on the side of her face. "You're so special.. so of course he would get you back."

"So, you're not mad?" Xia studied his face. She couldn't read him, and that bothered her a bit.

"That's not going to stop me though," Chan sat down on the couch in a man spread position. He leaned forward with his elbows on his thighs, and he looked up at her.

"I mean, it should stop you," Xia giggled and sat down on her desk in front of him.

"You are so funny to me. You literally came on my fingers while your boyfriend was in the other room. You aren't feeling him like that. If I had put my dick in your mouth, you would have sucked me while your boyfriend is there. He's always been your boyfriend since I met you."

Xia's jaw dropped at his response. Apart of her wanted to be offended by the way Chan is so vulgar and raw with her. But, another part of her feels turned on. This man is really something else.

"You are so bold tonight. We love to see it, " she said.

"But did I lie, though?" Chan asked.

"No, you didn't," she covered her face.

"So, when are you going to tell him it's over?" Chan asked.

"Who said I am breaking up with him?"

"Your body did... I can feel that you want me. But, you are trying to be a good girl because you made it "official" with him again. I respect that. But, I want you leaving with me tonight," Chan made his offer. He got up from his seat and walked back over to her.

"I will wait for you until 3 a.m. when the club closes. My car will be at the back exit. I will see you then," Chan kissed her forehead and walked out of her office. He literally left her speechless. What is she going to do?

Should she be with him?

Chan walked out of Xia's office, and he had a good feeling about their interaction.

He's determined to pick up where they left off. Jaebeom doesn't deserve to be with her.

Xia deserves so much more, and Chan wants to be the one to give it to her. He sat back down in the section with the other performers.

He watched Jaebeom appear on stage, and he didn't realize that he's a singer too. He looked over to see Xia standing near the stage. Jaebeom started to sing directly to her.

Chan wasn't going to let that bother him. Xia will make the right choice, and Chan just has to trust that. He watched Lee Hi sit next to him.

"Hey Channie," she said.

"What's up, Lee Hi?"

"Nothing, just glad to be here. I heard you're crushing on Xia. You know she's dating Jaebeom, right?" Leehi asked.

"Good for you, but I am not worried."

"I mean, if you need me to distract Jaebeom to help you. I will," she winked at him.

"Umm... I am good. But, thanks," Chan focused his attention back on Xia. She's really enjoying his performance. But, he feels confident that she's going to really like his.

He walked out of the performers' section and went into the bathroom. He saw Lee Know in the bathroom, and he's the last person he wanted to talk to.

"You need to stay away from Xia. She has a boyfriend, and once I get him out the picture, then I can get her back," Lee Know said.

Chan couldn't help but laugh. Why did everyone want to focus on Xia's love life today? This industry is like a high school. Everyone knows everyone.

"Lee know.. she doesn't want you."

"Yes, she does. She promised me we would run off together when I got home. Now, she's acting funny," Lee Know.

"Look, we are cool. I don't have an issue with you. But, I want you to know she's mine. I was in my feelings the other day. I had a moment when I saw you two together, but I am clear that I want her. I don't want to have to fight you, but I will," Chan said.

"Okay, tough guy.. may the best man win," Lee know said.

"I don't need to compete. She knows where home is," Chan washed his hands and walked out of the bathroom.
