Hi everyone! I'm so sorry for not being able to update yesterday. Nasira po kasi ang mood ko dahil sa isang "reader".
You all know that I always encourage everyone to say their insights about my works. Gustong-gusto ko ng feedback kasi iyon ang dahilan bakit nandito ako sa Wattpad at nagsusulat. Suggestions are also very highly appreciated pero sana naman po may konti tayong paggalang sa pagsasabi ng suggestions natin. ☺️
Calling someone's work as "basura" just because it doesn't meet your standards is very rude.
I fully know na napaka-simple ng mga words na gamit-gamit ko kung ikukumpara sa ibang mga HisFic stories. I do listen to my reader's suggestions about this matter.
Pero to clarify not just to this specific "reader" but to everyone who reads my story, I choose not to make my Filipino words deep because of a reason.
I wanted my stories to be a stepping stone for non-HisFic readers to further explore in this particular genre. Lahat ng mga Wattpader friends ko ay hindi nagbabasa ng HisFic.
The reasons?
Boring.
Masyadong malalim ang words nakakapatay ng brain cells.
That's why an idea of creating stories that aren't that hard to comprehend (for people who are not into Filipino literature) passed my mind. I wanted to create HisFic stories that are still set in the past but with less deep Filipino words. I made it clear in one of my story, "My Saviour In Her Past", that I would only use simple Filipino words as to make the story more easy to read (for non-HisFic readers).
Gusto ko na ang mga storya ko ay maging daan para mas rumami pa ang ma-inlove sa Historical Fiction genre.
They can read my books first if masyado pa silang nabibigatan sa mga deep Filipino words bago mag-explore sa mga HisFic stories na mostly ay iyon ang gamit.
One of my readers, -Xamaexxi-, actually ask if I can make my Filipino words deeper. I replied telling her I would try but if it would be ok if I would just make it more formalize rather than deep. She gratefully said yes. Sana po maging katulad niya ang mga nagsasabi ng suggestions. Be kind when you say your suggestions but also be understanding if the author can't do what you want.
Again, if you find my story as "basura" then don't read it. Hindi ako manghihinayang na mawalan ng isang reader. Natapos kong sulatin ang "My Future In Her Past" ng may 5 active readers lang. As long as the readers that I already considered as friends are reading my works then I don't care if I don't reach million reads mark.
Sanay akong konti lang ang nagbabasa ng story ko kaya hindi ko inaasam iyang popularity na sinasabi mo.
"Hindi naman pang-sikat na author mga stories mo."
Suprise then, I'm not a popular author and I never dreamed on being one. I'm already happy with my 15 voter readers. ☺️
Comment down below the degrading words that you told me yesterday para naman mabasa ng iba. Hindi mo alam baka kampihan ka nila. ☺️
