On days where Slender doesn't have any planned targets or kills, its boring. And for the last week, Slenderman has had no missions or tasks for anyone. Just some around-the-house chores. Laughing Jack or LJ sat in his room bored out of his clown mind, and that's saying something because he is almost never bored. He stared at his music box, which was something like a fourth-dimension object, as the small black and white box held a huge and absolutely MASSIVE carnival and the circus of the dead inside. He kept all his child victims in it, but once they were dead, he couldn't harm them anymore since they were now just spirits. Their souls were trapped in his Circus of Mayhem until he set them free, which was never.

"I suppose I could see what my 10984 kids are up to," he muttered. He waved a clawed hand over his box and stood up. He was 10 feet tall and as he stood up a soft purple portal appeared and he jumped through it, leaving his bedroom in dim light. Sota, a little 6-year-old borrower fox girl with white hair, ears and tail, quickly exited the vents into LJs room craving some sugar so she waited until he left knowing that Slender hadn't let killing happen for a week. Sota quickly walked over to his candy bag before she fell in with a small yip of fright. LJ quickly came back, seeing as his kids were doing nothing except what kids usually do at a carnival. All of his kids were 18 or under. He was really getting bored and grabbed his candy bag, hoping his sweets would distract him. Sota heard somebody grab the bag and quickly went still hoping it was just her imagination.

'God please don't be Jeff or EJ.' Sota thought to herself. LJ sat on his bed and opened his bag, digging around for a particular candy.

"Where are you my sweetie?" he said in a singsong voice. Being a clown, that's how he usually spoke. Sota quickly went even more still

'Oh god its LJ. I'm scared.' Sota whined before her face went pale as the whine had been quite loud. LJ froze and looked around the room. The whine almost sounded like Grinny Cat and LJ growled, knowing that cat likes to steal his candy. He tightened his grip on his candy bag, which was a large brown potato sack.

"You stupid bloody cat! WHERE ARE YOU?!" he shouted. His door was locked so Grinny couldn't have gotten in. Maybe he was outside?

...

There was just silence.

Sota was freaking out when she felt his grip tighten and she started freaking out causing some wrappers to mash together making noise before she quickly tried to calm down. LJ looked down at his bag.

"What in the name of-," LJ muttered as he opened his bag wide. His white and black eyes grew wide with surprise when he saw a tiny white fox girl sitting among his candy. She wore an orange shirt with flowers and overalls and sandals, and her white hair was in a braid. He closed the bag, rubbed his eyes, and looked back in. Nope, he wasn't dreaming. Sota quickly caught sight of LJs eyes before she quickly dug into herself towards the bottom of the candy bag. Sota was making good progress and was completely covered by wrappers at the bottom of the bag before she saw a small hole and quickly moved towards it.

"Child... I already saw you," LJ said, his voice void of emotion. He slowly reached into his bag and gently grabbed Sota's tail. She quickly turned around and bit his hand drawing some blood. LJ winced and harshly wrapped his clawed hand around her and pulled her out of the bag.

"It's rude to bite," he said through gritted, sharp, and pointed teeth. He eyed the bit of blood coming from his finger. Since he was colorless, his blood was pitch black. Sota quickly struggled trying to get away from him snarling showing sharp canines not caring that her parents had always told her not to bite people. LJ set his bag down and pinched Sota's shirt and dangled her in the air to lessen the risk of getting bit again. He watched her thrash around and hummed, slightly amused.
