A/N: I obviously do not own the speech at the start of this. for reference purposes this is where is got the speech:  https://www.poetryfoundation.org/poems/56972/speech-once-more-unto-the-breach-dear-friends-once-more

"Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more;
Or close the wall up with our English dead.
In peace there's nothing so becomes a man
As modest stillness and humility:
But when the blast of war blows in our ears,
Then imitate the action of the tiger;
Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood,
Disguise fair nature with hard-favour'd rage;
Then lend the eye a terrible aspect;
Let pry through the portage of the head
Like the brass cannon; let the brow o'erwhelm it
As fearfully as doth a galled rock
O'erhang and jutty his confounded base,
Swill'd with the wild and wasteful ocean.
Now set the teeth and stretch the nostril wide,
Hold hard the breath and bend up every spirit
To his full height. On, on, you noblest English.
Whose blood is fet from fathers of war-proof!
Fathers that, like so many Alexanders,
Have in these parts from morn till even fought
And sheathed their swords for lack of argument:
Dishonour not your mothers; now attest
That those whom you call'd fathers did beget you.
Be copy now to men of grosser blood,
And teach them how to war."

You were a warrior; you were born to be. The only problem being, was that you were female. You couldn't stand to be a domestic, so you cut your hair and tried to hide your breasts. You wanted to fight with the best and you finally had that opportunity. You were fighting alongside the king, and although you didn't want to admit it. you were falling for him. You adored the power and strength he possessed, but you forced yourself to hide your feelings, otherwise, your life would be ruined.

Obviously, you were scared, who isn't afraid of dying? Somehow, he noticed this, placing his hand on your shoulder...

"And you, good yeoman,
Whose limbs were made in England, show us here
The mettle of your pasture; let us swear
That you are worth your breeding; which I doubt not;
For there is none of you so mean and base,
That hath not noble lustre in your eyes.
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'"

There was a cry from all the men that were there to listen to Henry. however the fear still affected your judgement. You tried not to let it stop you, but it was only going to be a while before you felt fear again. You ran into battle with Henry next to you baring his sword. You started thrashing left and right at the enemy. The rush of adrenaline throwing you to cloud nine, you felt unstoppable defeating the enemy, making you proud to be an Englis-

Shit... a sharp pain went right into my abdomen, I was stabbed. I fell to my knees and screamed for help.

"MEN! Help me carry our brother to the camp!" It was Henry, he had slaughtered the man that stabbed me and was currently trying to get me to safety, "you'll be okay brother. We will get you sorted out. You will live."

You felt so safe in his arms, nothing bad could happen to you while he held you. A few other men grabbed you and helped you to a safer spot.

They managed to lay you down. You kept wincing and clenching your muscles in pain. It was unbearable. The men tried to remove your armour, but you kept refusing.

"Brother, we have to get to the wound, if we don't, you'll die!" One on the men said.

"No- no, you c-can't." I groaned.

"We have to."

You tried to relax as you laid on your back. They started to remove your armour and got down to the fabric. They ripped off your garments and they all stared at you in shock.

"wow, um- men go" Henry said as he covered you back up, "GO!"

the men scattered back onto the battle field, and you two were left.

"You're a woman."

"I'm a warrior." I snarled back.

"You are quite beautiful." he smiles at you and you wince in pain when he puts pressure on your wound, "sorry."

"It's fine."

"Just try and stay calm and still. I've got to patch this up, you're going to be okay."

He began to patch you up and tended carefully to your wounds. And sat beside you when he was done.

"Why do you fight?" He asked.

"Why do you?"

"I was born to fight, serve my country and protect the people I will one day rule." He replied. A good answer... a king's answer.

"Same." you said, "we'll not exactly the same, but I could never be a domestic. It doesn't appeal to me."

"Interesting, you have a bite then?"

"Of course." you smirked.

"Well I've never met some like you before."

"Thank you." you smiled. You tried to move but winced because of the wound.

"Hey, hey, hey try not to move, you don't want the cut to start bleeding again."

"Sorry," you took a deep breath, "can I tell you something?"

"Anything my friend."

"I feel rather attracted to you. You are very powerful, and I don't want to lie to you while I am around you."

"Well that's good because I am very attracted to you too."

A/N: I didn't really know how to end this story because it didn't flow as well as I thought it would. anyway I hope you liked the rest of it.❤
