Chapter 16~Save Her

~Hades POV~

I walked up to the mansion with my hands in my pockets.

"Who are you?" One of the guards asked trying to get a good look at my face.I waved my hand over both of their faces and they fell to the ground immediately falling asleep. I turned the doorknob only for it to be locked.I took a deep breath before popping up inside the building hoping Phoenix wouldn't find me.I walked up to the office door Phoenix had brought me to the last time we were here and barged in.The same people from last time were all in the room.They scrunched their eyebrows together in confusion as they looked at me.I took a deep breath and pulled off the hat and the jacket I was wearing."You." Mateo and Alex said before punching me in my face.I rolled my eyes and flicked my wrist pinning everybody to the wall."Why are you here?" Kenzie asked as I took a seat."Your dear friend Phoenix of course."I said smiling."What did you do to her?" Alex asked as he tried to peel himself from the wall."Me?Nothing." I said looking around the room."What do you want?" Kenzie asked."I need you to fix her." I said looking back at them."What's wrong with her?" The Don asked.I sighed and turned towards the TV before waving my hand in front of it.Phoenix's image popped up on the TV and they all watched it wide eyed."Why are her eyes blue?" Kenzie asked keeping her eyes on the TV."I don't know but when they turn blue she becomes powerful." I said turning my attention back to them."She is powerful." Kenzie said frowning."More powerful than she should be." I clarified as I stood up."What do you mean?" She asked turning her attention to me."It doesn't matter- what matters is she's trying to take my kingdom and I'd rather not kill her considering I've grown to like her." I said walking around the desk and stopping in front of them."What can we do?" Kenzie asked softly."Figure it out.You have three days and I'm bringing her here-be prepared at this stage she's worse than me." I said smirking.Their eyes widened and I winked before leaving."Where have you been?" Phoenix asked from behind me."Why?Did you miss me love?" I asked turning to face her.She rolled her eyes and walked around me leaving me to follow her."Phoenix I have what you asked for." Amirah said running by her side with a folder in her hand.Phoenix looked at me from the corner of her eye as she grabbed the folder."The girls?" She asked leaving the folder closed and turning her attention to Amirah."Probably torturing souls." Amirah said softly.Phoenix nodded her head before waving Amirah away.Amirah sent me a look before walking away.I turned my attention back to Phoenix and she looked between me and her curiously before turning and walking off."Jealous love?" I called out after her.She turned and her eyes twinkled as she shook her head and continued to walk off.I walked in the direction I watched Amirah walk and turned a corner to see her and the other girls standing there and waiting for me."Are they going to help?" Michelle asked as Bonnie whispered a spell making sure Phoenix couldn't hear us."Of course they are." I said leaning against the wall."What do we do?" Brooke asked running a hand through her hair."Act normal because if she finds out what we're doing-" I chuckled shaking my head at the thought.The girls nodded in understanding and we split up."You've been disappearing a lot." Phoenix said leaning against my bedroom door."I'm starting to think your in love with me love." I said smirking as I leaned on the wall opposite of her.Her blue eyes hardened and she took a step towards me before stopping.She chuckled and shook her head."What are you doing?" She asked studying me as I pushed myself off the wall."What are you talking about?" I asked frowning.She slowly walked around me as if trying to figure it out."You don't mind being second in command?" She asked.It was my turn to study her as I bit my tongue from answering to fast."I'm a lot of things but that definitely isn't one of them." I answered vaguely.She stopped in front of me and crossed her arms over her chest."Then what are you?Cause lately you haven't been anything but my bitch." She asked smirking.I grabbed her by her neck and slammed her back into the wall I was leaning against."Watch it love.I don't hit women but I'd tear you apart." I growled trying to calm myself down.She slowly wrapped her legs around my waist and her arms around my neck as she kept her eyes locked on mine."Lucy." She whispered before softly biting my earlobe.I groaned and took us to the bedroom before gently dropping her on the bed.She bit her lip as she looked up at me.I leaned down and connected our lips in a kiss.She ran her fingers through my hair and pulled me closer into her."Phoenix." A voice said softly.We pulled away from each other and she looked around confused.I teleported us to the office in the mansion and everybody was watching us except this time the moon goddess was here too."You tricked me." She growled as she turned her attention back to me."I'm the devil love it's what I do." I said stepping away from her.She chuckled humorlessly and slowly shook her head."Phoenix." Kenzie said taking a step towards her.Phoenix slowly took her eyes off of me and looked at Kenize."I don't have time for lectures." She said taking a seat.I took a stand behind her and gently rested my hands on the back of the chair making it so she couldn't get up again."What's wrong with you?" Kenzie asked softly as she kneeled in front of her.Phoenix giggled and bit the air making Kenzie jump backwards.The moon goddess walked up to Phoenix and gently touched her forehead.Her eyes blanked for a second before she pulled away with a gasp.We watched her curiously as we waited for her to tell us what she saw."It's anger." The moon goddess said looking at Phoenix sadly."I could've told you that." I said rolling my eyes."She's been keeping it all inside this whole time." Alex said with a frown."Boxing." I mumbled shaking my head."What?" Kenzie asked turning to face me."She's a fighter.She does it for fun and to get her anger out but now the only type of fighting she's been doing is to stay alive.That's not exactly anger management." I said walking around Phoenix.I stopped in front of her and squatted."We've never once stopped to ask her how she's been doing." Alex said softly.The guilt was clear in their eyes as they thought about it.Phoenix hadn't said a word and was just studying all of us."How do we get her back?How do we calm her down?" Kenzie asked."Love I don't tend to care for people but you've managed to make a friend out of me.I shouldn't have taken you-I should've helped you how you wanted to be helped but I'm also not sorry because in the time we've spent together you've seem to have gotten me to care about you." I whispered brushing her hair out of her face.She watched me closely as I stood up and stepped to the side.I nodded my head gesturing for the next person to go and Kenzie slowly walked up to her."People would think we were crazy for being friends.We started off trying to kill each other and then we got kidnapped and became best friends.Ever since we came here you haven't done anything but take care of me-I'm sorry I didn't notice anything was wrong.I'm sorry I didn't take care of you like you've been taking care of me." Kenzie said softly.She smiled sadly at Phoenix and stepped to the side with Luca going by her side.Alex stepped forward and took a deep breathe."I love you and I'm so sorry for everything we've put you through.We never took the time to stop and make sure that you were okay-but that's going to change baby just come back to us." Alex said brushing some of Phoenix's hair out of her face.Her eyes flashed between blue and grey and she shut her eyes tightly.She slowly opened them again to show her blue eyes and smirked."When we were little I promised to protect you and lately I haven't fulfilled that promise lately and I'm sorry.Come back Neonata we need you." Mateo said taking her hand in his.Phoenix slowly looked down at their connected hands and then back at him.Her eyes flashed again before they hardened(Babygirl)."I'm so sorry I can't even put it into words.I haven't done anything but make your life complicated and I'm so sorry.But from now on I won't do anything that has to do with your like without telling you ever again.Just please come back." She said sadly.She leaned forward and softly kissed the top of Phoenix's head."I'm sorry for kidnapping you.There were other ways to do that and for that I'm truly sorry." The Don said slightly bowing his head."I'm sorry for torturing you." Luca said from behind her.Everybody watched Phoenix as she looked between us.She closed her eyes and we all held our breaths."Did you really think it'd be that easy?" She asked giggling as she slowly opened her eyes.Kenzie slowly released a breath and walked around back to Phoenix.She slapped her before wrapping her arms around her in a tight hug.Mateo and Alex looked at each other curiously before joining the hug.The rest joined in while I leaned against the wall watching their stupidity.Her eyes began to flash between grey and blue as she struggled against their hold.She shut her eyes tightly and I pushed myself off the wall as I watched her.She slowly opened her eyes again to show her regular grey eyes."She's back." I mumbled.The others looked at me before pulling away from her and looking at her.She smiled but you could see the pain, anger, and sadness in her eyes.I walked up to them and gently touched the chair releasing her from its hold."Thank you." She said softly as she stood up.I nodded my head and she looked down at the ground.Before she could blink she was being tackled in a group hug all over again.They let her go one by one and she walked up to me with a small smile."I'm sorry I went crazy and took over your kingdom." She whispered."It's okay love but you are banned." I said with a smile.She smiled back and nodded her head."Your ratings did go up but you have somebody working against you the folder will tell you everything you need to know.I hid it but you know where." She said running a hand through her hair."Thank you." I said nodding my head."Your welcome." She whispered before wrapping her arms around me in a hug.I smiled at her kindness and hugged her back"You've got a friend in me love.Call me if you need me." I whispered before kissing the top of her head.She tightened her arms around me before we pulled away from each other.I winked at her before going back to hell.I walked to where I knew she hid the folder and pulled it out.My jaw clenched as I read the name over and over.I smirked letting my eyes turn red and left the room to go find her."May God help her." I said chuckling.

I know and I'm so so sorry.This chapter isn't all that but action is going to be coming soon I promise.My birthday is coming up in THREE days and I'm trying to make some money so I can do something despite being in quarantine.Plus I've been doing work so I've been kind of busy and I'm sorry but I'll do better.I started selling candy but it's hard since I gotta be in the house but ANYWAYS did you like the chapter?Tell me how you felt about a chapter in Hades's POV.
