I have always felt like I never belonged anywhere. I have bounced from foster home to foster home, and as I got older, my chances for getting adopted got smaller and smaller. I constantly switched between schools and never had a friendship lasting over one year. It seemed as though nobody cared about me, as though I would never be found.

That is until Peter Pan came along. He promised that he could take me from my troubles. He promised that I could leave this life behind and live in a place where I would never grow old, and never worry about finding my place.

It seemed way too good to be true, but then, he took me there. He took my hand and flew me to this magical place he calls Neverland. The island was beautiful, (I'd always had a thing for nature). It seemed like a neverending forest, but he led me to a campsite where I was introduced to at least 15 boys, whom he called his Lost Boys. 

They took me in like I was any other Lost Boy brought to the island. Being the only girl wasn't lonely at all, I felt like one of the boys. I trained with them, swam with them, danced around the fire with them, and did everything with them.

Peter has even taken a liking to me. Oftentimes I catch him looking at me out of the corner of my eye. He always looks away when I look at him. Sometimes, I even see a hint of blush on his face when he's talking to me. I don't mind though, cause if I'm being honest, I kinda like him too.

Peter wasn't lying when he said I could leave all my troubles behind. I felt so free, so myself here on Neverland. I almost couldn't remember what life was like before coming here. I knew I would never be the same girl who switched between foster homes again. I had found my place, I would now and forever be a lost girl.
