Chapter 53: The Ten Demon Gates

We return back to our homes after the Ice Village incident. I look at myself in the mirror. I still have blue in my hair. I thought it'd leave after a while. I guess it's what happens after using the ultimate secret art. I just can't use the other two.

"Let's go!" Bonnie shouts from downstairs. I sigh and head downstairs and we start heading to the guild. As I'm walking with Bonnie in my arms, I get a weird feeling. My gut tells me something is wrong. I continue walking.

I open the doors to the guild and see it's full. The whole walk felt off. Something is different today. I think it's the hair. Ever since the blue came, I feel like everything's wrong.

"Yo! Y/N!" Natsu greets me. I walk over to him, Gajeel, Wendy, Levy, Lucy, and Happy. I see Levy is reading something about E.N.D. "I'm planning in storming Tartaros! Wanna tag along?" Natsu asks me. "No one is storming Tartaros!" Lucy shouts.

"Bad news! Bad news!" The guild doors and kicked open and reveal Jet and Droy with newspapers in their hands. They announce that the council has been blown up. 119 deaths.

I knew something was wrong since I woke up and I decided to ignore the issue. "Tartaros." I whisper under my breath. They did this.

We look at the injured members. The Thunder Legion and Yajima are all injured and contaminated with bane particles. "Laxus... saved.. the city. Thanks to Laxus." Freed manages to say. I walk over to him and place my hand gently on his head.

"Is... the city... safe?" Freed asks me. I think before I answer. I smile at him and nod, "Yup! You did good, Freed."

"That's a relief." A tear falls from Freed's eyes and he closes his eyes. When his eyes are closed and he falls asleep, I walk out the infirmary and to the bathrooms, where I start breaking down. I wipe my tears and head out as I hear things crashing and Natsu shouting.

"They're targeting council members. We have to find all former members. It'll be tough since their addresses are kept a secret." I say as I walk out. The place is a mess. I'm assuming Natsu went on a rampage.

"Not completely impossible." Loke speaks up. "I know where some former members live."

"How do you know?" Wendy asks and Loke whispers something. It's because they're girls. He gives us the address of four former members. We set up a plan. To go find these four and protect them, from there on we'll find others.

We gather around as Master steps on the stage. "Our enemy is Tartaros! One of the three Baram Alliance guilds, along with Seis and Grimoire. But, we've already demolished those two! Just as they, Tartaros will regret they made an enemy out of us!" Master shouts.

"Yeah!" We all shout back.

As Lucy, Wendy, Happy, Carla, and Natsu are about to head out to Michello's house, I grab a hold of Natsu's hand. "Y/N?" He questions.

"Please... come back to me." I say quietly. Natsu gives me a reassuring smile. "I will. Stay safe." Natsu gives me a hug before heading off. I look back and see Mira, Erza, and Bonnie smiling at me.

"I've been assigned to Gajeel, Levy, and Lily. Will you be okay?" Bonnie asks me. I nod.

"Ready?" Erza asks Mira and I. We both nod and start making our way to the former chairmen's house.

Upon arriving, the chairmen offered us tea. I take a sniff of the drink and something is weird about the smell. I leave it set down on the table, deciding to not take a drink. Maybe it'll make me sick or something, I don't need that right now.

"You're here about face, right?" The chairmen gets right to it. "Unfortunately though, I don't know where Face is either. I'm not trying to cover it up because it's classified information. I wasn't allowed to know about it either."

"What about the council members that are connected to Face through body link magic?" I ask.

"I don't know that either. The Face is a forsaken, forbidding weapon, you see. The Council members who serve as its keys are unaware that they're the keys to unsealing it." He tells us.

All three of us then shoot up as we feel people nearby. They explode the chairmen's house open. A group of Tartaros soldiers surround us. "We're like the Powerpuff Girls!" I joke as we stand in a fighting position, all back to back.

"I believe it's the first time we've worked together." Erza says.

"Let's show them what Fairy Tail wizards can do." Mira smiles. We all nod and charge at the same time.

"Shadow Dragon's: Roar!" I let out and take out a whole bunch. Easily, we were able to take them out.

"They were too easy." I say. They all agree. Something is weird.

"Erza.. Y/N..." I hear Mira say softly. I look to her and see her wobbling.

"Mira!" Erza exclaims before she collapses.

"Erza! Mira!" I shout. Before I could reach out to me, something stabs me. I look down and see a sword going through me. It's taken out and I drop. I see a figure looking down on me. A female figure. The scent. I recognised it too.

I try staying awake, but I fall unconscious.
