NICK P.O.V.: Sophie gasped for air and bit her lip nervously.
Sophie: I need your help with something
Nick: sure, tell me
Sophie: umm, there's something big I wanna tell Joe but I just don't know how to do it and I don't know if he should know about this or I should take care of it...alone (I frowned in confusion and she swallowed)
Nick: what is it Soph? You're worrying me
Sophie: I umm...I just found out yesterday that I'm pregnant (my eyes opened widely and I smiled big at her)
Nick: what? Really? (She nodded and I grabbed her hand) Soph, that's amazing, those are really good news
Sophie: sure? (I nodded)
Nick: why wouldn't it be a good new? It's a baby and you're married. As long as you're fine with it...I see no problem. Are you having second thoughts about having the baby?
Sophie: umm, not for me I mean. I'm super happy and I would love to keep the baby but I don't know if Joe will be happy or he'd rather not have a baby so soon. Like, we are still newlyweds
Nick: oh, if it's about Joe then don't worry, he'll be really happy with the baby. He wants a kid Sophie. He's not so young and he loves you like no one else (she smiled at me)
Sophie: how can I tell him about it?
Nick: he likes fancy things so what about making a surprise for him tonight? We could do something in the restaurant, just for us
Sophie: that'd be amazing, you're a genius (I smiled and hugged her over the table before sitting again)
Nick: I'm so happy, I'm gonna be an uncle
Sophie: yea (she said after giggling)
Nick: you told me you wanted to talk with me about Demi, umm...what happened?
Sophie: she came a little sad to talk to me yesterday
Nick: yesterday morning? (She nodded) I knew something was wrong with her. What happened to her?
Sophie: I don't know if I should tell you this but I know you love her a lot and that's why I'll do it (I nodded) promise me you won't tell her I told you
Nick: I promise, she won't ever know
Sophie: okay. Yesterday when she came to talk to me she told me she was feeling sad cause she's not what you deserve, that you deserve someone better than her and more beautiful cause she's nothing compared to all the girls you dated before
Nick: what? (I said unable to believe what she was telling me)
Sophie: yes, and she told me she'd rather not have you now than lose you later when another younger girl wins a beauty pageant and you leave her for the beauty queen
Nick: (I shook my head and sighed) I wish she could understand how much I love her and how much I think she's the most amazing human being here, and the most beautiful girl...she's awesome and she doesn't know it
Sophie: yea, she's truly a light here (she frowned and shrugged) I think you should show her how much you love her. I don't know how, but she needs it Nick
Nick: I will. To be honest, I'm always trying to make her feel special and loved and it kinda makes me feel sad that she can't understand it. Not for me, I'd do it all over again and again day by day, and I will do it...but she deserves to know how precious she is in every aspect of herself (Sophie smiled at me)
Sophie: I don't know how she can doubt you love her when you're all this cheesy talking about her. The way your face lights up whenever you name her...I haven't seen it in you before, with Priyanka I mean
Nick: well, the thing with Demi is that she's more of a family for me, my best friend, my whole world depends on her now (I said and laughed making her smile) I truly feel something I've never felt before in my life
