The pitch only lasted until 11 a.m. This gave us time to go to another meeting. The next meeting was with a former U.S. Congressman who was visiting Hong Kong, a big shark himself named Mr. Sugarray. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss a soil treatment facility, a Canadian company started by Mr. Chemical, Mr. Princeton's good friend from Harvard. The goal of phase shift solutions is to take all contaminated soil in the world and convert it back into usable regular soil. The invention in concept is like a giant washing machine: it would fry the chemicals and produce inert, ready-to-use soil. When I met up with the group, they already had a working machine in Suzhou. Mr. Chemical, Mr. Civil, and Mr. Sugarray were great people, and the meeting showed me how executive level people interact. I was introduced as Mr. Princeton's executive assistant, so I could just sit in and listen. Their goal in Hong Kong was to raise enough money to open ten more machines in China.
