My mom was interesting to watch, too. She’s really very social in Canada even though she can’t speak a word of English after living there for 20-something years. But she is very social and makes friends extremely easily and she’s very kind and helpful to everybody. In China she has an entourage of friends. It was very interesting to see that the character carry over. It doesn’t matter where you are in the world; if you have a certain type of character, you will either make a lot of friends or you will be alone. It was enlightening.
