With a sad look on her soft little face, she looked at the empress; "Mom's going to kill me," In a near whine.
The empress shook her head at the little one.
"No, but if you don't watch it, she may take your magic for a time," She scolded.
"Only my fairy magic." She pointed out.
The empress stopped right there in the middle of the Chambodian forest and glared at Willow.
"If your parents work together your father can bind your shifter powers too."
"He wouldn't."
"They might if you don't stop acting like you have fairy dust for brains." She scolded.
"I didn't mean it this time." She replied in a whisper.
"I know but you have got to stop scaring the queen." The empress told her as they continued on through the forest.
"I'll try."
"Good, that's all I ask."
After a long silence, Willow looked over to her.
"Do you think well get there before it's dark?"
"Maybe, why?" She asked with a puzzled look.
"Um, well.. nothing." She said.
"Are you homesick?" Ralvania inquired.
"Nope."
"Then what's the matter? I will get you home."
"I know." She said.
"Tell me."
After a few minutes of hesitation, she spoke.
"I'm afraid." She sputtered out.
"Of what?"
"The dark." She admitted.
"Oh, I think we'll reach the portal long before moon rise."
