1. What inspired you to write?
I started writing when I was in my lower classes, and I've always had something that I wanted to say, whether it was about a bird I had, or whether I was ranting about my day at school. Also, my mother had always encouraged me as well as told my teachers about my work and got them to help me too.

2. Do your poems have a back story? Or are thy bad off of the top of your head?
I guess my stories would have a back story, at least most of them do. Because I always thought that through my poetry, I could let my feelings go. Have my paper and pen, and sort of confide in them the things, that I otherwise wouldn't say. Personally, I could never keep a diary or a journal, so my poetry represented that to me.

3. Would you ever try making a story?
Well, I've always wanted to write one, but I couldn't get past an idea that I had and make that into something more, and the fact that I never have time to complete my work sort of contributed to that.
But I guess if I were to write something, I'd complete first and then think of publishing it on Wattpad.

4. Are you entering any poems in the Attys? If so which one?
I do want to enter my poems in the Attys, but I want to enter as a Competitor, so I'm going to try to understand the poetic forms that would be needed, because my poetry is sort of in a particular form. So let's hope for the best.

5. What's your favorite thing about writing?
I love the fact that when I write, I can lay all my thoughts and not leave anything out,  Like how I would normally. It's like sure, the people who read would have something to say, but they can't make me change my words for their convenience. I mean, I come out as shy to some people, but it's mostly because they either wouldn't listen, or they judge me by thinking that I wouldn't have anything to say. So I let those people believe it, because they're not the ones who need to hear my words.

6. What's your least favorite thing about writing?
Writers block. Definitely. For me, I either need to constantly write, or I completely stop. I don't have an in-between, and I need to resolve that.

7. What got you into poetry?
That would have to be my English classes. You know those rhymes that they'd teach us, and how they float through the page, and as a child, that fascinated me. So it's just the way the words are and how, even though they're so simple, they can impact a person.

8. Books movies, or plays?
Books! I eat, live, breathe books. If I could stay in my room forever, just reading the same book over and over again, I would be a happy person.

9. Which poem of yours is your favorite?
Right now? 'Eyes'. The situation that led me to write that poem, when I've stopped writing for almost a year, made me initially pour my heart out, and then post something on Wattpad.

10. What are some writing tips you can give the readers?
I think that the most a writer can do, is write what they want to, and what they can relate to, and to never listen to someone who tries to bring them down, or belittle them and their writing. You know, believe in what they say.
