"I can't believe it! Can you believe it?"

Kasalukuyan kaming nasa dormitory ng girls kasama ang mga lalake at ngayon ay pinapakinggan ang mga daing ni Lucienne habang nagtatanghalian. Dito na kami kumakain sa halip na sa cafeteria simula nang mga pambubully para iwas gulo.

"He's the dude who named Nameless Organization right?" sabi ni Lucienne. "Why is he the head of the Administration now? I seriously don't get it."

Me either.

Hindi lang pala sa room namin bumisita si Mitsuru Aoki kundi sa lahat ng section. Kung bakit siya bumisita, iyon ang hindi namin alam.

"Does it really have to make sense?" inip na tanong ni Xaniel na nakaupo sa kama ni Luna, may brownies sa bibig.

"Of course, it does!" sagot naman ni Lucienne.

"Oo nga," pagsang-ayon ni Ione, "panigurado may history 'yon sila nila Sir Takano at TS."

"Si Miss Yajima pa," dagdag ni Kaoru na nasa pwesto naman ni Julien. Himala na hindi siya nakadikit sa'kin ngayon. "Member din siya dati ng N.O. 'wag mo kalimutan, lagot ka na naman don."

Sa tabi ko, napatakip si Luna ng bibig, natatawa. Siguro ay naaalala niya 'yung nangyari na pina-recite si Ione ng article sa student handbook.

"Aside from the fact that he was a student of Immortal City before, I don't think that Mitsuru guy would help us much in the competition," sabi ni Van na katabi ni Xaniel.

"And how can you tell?" tanong pabalik ni Lucienne gamit ang pang-away na tono na madalas pinagsisimulan ng away ng dalawa.

But for some reason, Van just avoids her gaze and continues to eat his meal.

"I agree with Van," sabi ni Cenon. "I think for Mitsuru Aoki, we're just another group of participants in the competition."

"So we can't rely on him then?" Lucienne says but mostly to herself. "Ughh, ang tagal naman matapos ng competition."

"Speaking of competition, what do you think the clue will be?" tanong ko.

Agad na hinanap ng mga mata ko si Zairus na ngayon ay nakaupo sa kama ni Riley kasama si Drake. He's been silent after the bus ride and I can't help but worry.

His eyes were red and he didn't seem to notice.

Normal ba 'yon? O hindi lang talaga nila ma-control minsan?

I made a mental note to ask someone with an eye ability later.

"Three will end one," sabi ni Cenon, "technically that's the first clue they gave. For now, I can't make sense of anything. Sorry."

"Don't stress yourself over it," malabong sabi ni Xaniel dahil sa laman ng bibig niya ngayon—marshmallows.

"Yeah, I don't think anyone among us has an idea," sabi naman ni Drake.

Panandalian kaming natahimik dahil sa pagkain kaya naman dinig ko ang mahinang boses ni Riley nang pumunta siya sa may kama niya.

"Zairus? Okay ka lang ba?"

I look over and see him with his hand on his forehead.

"I'm alright," he says before standing up. To us, he says, "I'll go back to our dorm first. See you guys later."
