Chapter 63
"Hello?"
I was stunned. I tried to find words but I just let out a soft, "Hi."
"W-who's this?"
Damn her voice. I mean, Mrs. Miller's voice. Hindi ko lubos akalain na sobrang ganda ng boses nya. Well, she's not obviously singing but with just her short 'Hi,' it already captures my--i mean everyone's attention. "Uhmm... Good morning Mrs. Miller. I'm Brylie Arevalo, president of Arevalo Bayer Inc."
I heard a long silence on the other line. Hanggang sa sumagot ulet sya, "G-goodmorning. How can I help you Mr. Arevalo?"
"I just wanted to thank you personally for convincing your husband to sign another contract with my company."
"I-its not a big deal-"
"Well, for me, it is." ngiti ko. I stood up and faced the frames on the other side of my office. Tinignan ko yung mga pictures even the family picture I had with my parents. Nung napansin kong wala ng sumasagot sa kabilang linya, nagsalita ulet ako. "I'm sorry....are you busy?"
"Y-yes."
"Oh. Uhm-" May sasabihin pa sana ako nehen he cut me off.
"I need to hang up. Bye." Then she ended the call. Napakunot naman ako ng noo but eventually smiled after. Her voice makes me feel comfortable and I wanted to hear more. Is it bad to like someones voice? Its just a voice anyway. Iba naman ang nararamdaman ko sa nararamdaman ko kay Uriela. For Uriela, I have this feeling that I just wanted to tug and kiss her. It has a large difference.

Uriela's POV
Parang sobrang saya at sa parehong pagkakataon, dinudurog ang puso ko. Tinawagan nya ko sa number na hindi nya alam. Nagpapasalamat sya dahilsa ginawa ko. Pero kilala niya ko bilang si Mrs. miller. Hanggang ngyon ay wala syang ka aalam alam na ang babaeng mahal nya at si Mrs. Miller ay iisa.
Napatingin ako sa pinto ng office ni Feli. Tumawag sa akin si Brylie, saktong papasok na ko ng office ni Feli. Mas lalo naman tuloy akong nakaramdam ng kaba.
"Goodmorning Maam Uriela," bati sa akin ni Mary Grace, yung sekretarya ni Feli.
"Goodmorning."
"Welcome back po. Kamusta naman po yung bakasyon niyo sa New York?" Bigla kong naalala, ako nga pala yung nagbanta sa kanya na tatanggalin sya sa trabaho pag sinabi nyang ako ang nagbigay ng contract noon kay brylie.
"O-okay lang naman," tugon ko. "Nandyan na ba yung nurse ni Feli?"
"Ay opo. Nasa loob na po." Pinagbuksan ako ng pinto ni Mary Grace at pumasok naman ako.
Nahuli kong kinukuhanan ng blood pressure si Feli. Nginitian ko naman si Feli at ganun din naman sya. "Goodmorning." Bati ko sa kanya then I hugged him.
"Goodmorning honey." His arm wrappe around my waist at magkevel lang awaist ko sa mukha nya dahil nakaupo sya sa office chair nya habang busy naman ang nurse nya sa pagkuha ng bp nya.
"How was it? Okay na ba yun pakiramdam mo? Did you take your medicine?"
"I'm fine. I'm fine." ngiti naman nya.
"I'll cook our dinner later okay? Para naman makakain ka ng vegetables mamaya. Hindi na pwede ang pork sayo."
"Hon, okay lang naman ako. I can still handle myself. And if ever man atakihin ulet ako, I have my medicine here naman. Don't worry too much." Natapos narin yung nurse sa pagb-bp sa kanya. "You may leave. I will just call you later. Thank you." Sabi nya doon sa nurse at lumabas na sya.
