Be my Shield (Roman Reigns)

Chapter Eighteen

"I want you in my sight at all times baby, at least within an arms length okay"

I nodded coyly as Roman spoke, his hands clasped firmly on my hips. We were in our dressing room getting changed and i was helping him with his riot vest. He shrugged it over his shoulders carefully wincing slightly at the pain in his back which was still tender from the punishing beating he received from Randy on Raw on Monday night. I slid my hands down the front of his chest feeling every inch of hard muscle as my hands moved lower. 

"I mean it Mia, I'm not going to let Kane get near you again, I can't"

I gave him a quick kiss before zipping up his vest and straightening it out. He had been a wreck when we got him back to the locker room.

Flashback

"Seth get the Doc and bring some ice packs"

I shouted as we sat down Roman down on the nearest bench, I knelt in front of him and immediately he lurched forward wrapping his arms around my body and burying his face in my neck. He pulled back a little and began looking me up and down paying extra attention to where Kane had held me

"I'm okay Ro, I'm fine just relax"

I tried reassuring him but he just brushed it off and pulled me closer

"I was so worried he'd hurt you"

Pressing my lips to his i sighed softly, After the all he was just put through he was still more worried about my well being. I swear i was falling for this man more and more everyday

---------------------------------------------------------------We stood huddled together facing the camera in front of us as the cameraman signalled us to begin. We were doing a live promo cutting in on a segment with Kane and Randy who were in the ring to gloat about how they "destroyed" Roman and I. Dean had that crazed look in his eyes as he glared into the camera, that lunatic fringe shining through

"When are all you little sheep going to learn. If you continue to side with the Kane and the authority, If you side against us we will always come out on top. So you may have got the better of us on Raw but you keep forgetting you take us down we come back and we hit you ten times harder, Justice always prevails"

Seth and I stayed silent staring down the camera, we both had a knack of mimicking each others glares and looking like deranged twins or something. Once Dean was done he walked away from the camera and began pacing behind us while Roman stepped up

"Destroyed? You think you destroyed Mia and I? I hate to break it to you but we're still here. You think you destroyed me Randy? You didn't destroy me, I destroyed you, I'm destroying you every time you see Mia in my arms. I'm destroying you every time you close you're eyes and picture us together and i'll keep destroying you. As for you Kane you ever lay a hand on my girl again i swear i will break your ass in half. Believe that and BELIEVE IN THE SHIELD"

I let out a high pitched creepy sounding giggle as we joined our fists in front of the camera. I could just imagine Randy standing in the ring looking extremely pissed at what Roman said, now it was time to start exacting our revenge.

"The Shield! The Shield have surrounded the ring, Rybaxel have no escape. Mia-Rose, Reigns, Ambrose and Rollins have shown up ringside and Ryback looks terrified"

Jerry Lawler spoke excitedly as we stood ringside ready to attack Rybaxel. I said they were going to pay and i meant it. Ryback began shaking his head pleading to me not to do it, not to make an example of his sorry ass. We jumped up onto the apron and within seconds we were in the ring pouncing on both men but focusing more on Ryback. Somehow Axel managed to slip out of the ring and all he could do was watch in horror as Seth Curb stomped his massive hulking partner into the mat followed by dirty deeds from Dean. It wasn't over though, Dean and Seth held him up in the middle of the ring, i ran into the ropes bouncing off then landing a high flying drop kick to his face. As i got to my feet i noticed Axel trying to get back in the ring to save his partner so i bounced of the ropes again and delivered another drop kick to his face knocking him from the apron. When i turned back Roman was gearing up to finish Ryback and all i could do was smile as he hit him with a superman punch. When he dropped Dean grabbed a mic and began pacing around the ring.

"Let this be an example to the rest of you sheep, i told you earlier we come back and we hit you ten times harder. We're coming for you all"

He dropped the mic and they picked Ryback up ready to triple power bomb him. Roman let out his howl before they dropped him on his back while i watched with joy. Suddenly the crowd began to go wild and when i looked up Del Rio, 3MB and Titus O'Neil were running down the ramp towards us. Roman pushed me behind him yelling at me to get out of the ring so i did as i was told just as they slid in immediately jumping the guys. I wasn't about to let a repeat of Monday night happen so i grabbed a chair and got back in the ring hitting the nearest person to me which was Del Rio, he immediately dropped to his knees so i hit him again in the back. From the corner of my eye i saw Heath Slater running towards me so i quickly swung around nailing him in the head. The guys had the other three down but i wasn't done going from one to the next hitting them in the back as they lay  on the mat

"How does that feel huh? Ambrose get the stick"

Dean did as he was told and slid out of the ring to get me an kendo stick. As soon as i had it on my hands i took turns hitting them one after the other, finally Roman stepped in taking the stick from me and pulling me into his side. That felt good but i wouldn't be satisfied until Randy gets what's coming to him.
