Be my Shield (Roman Reigns)

Chapter Sixteen

"Up next on RAW Divas champ Mia-Rose will face Alicia Fox, Aksana and Summer Rae in a three on one handicap match that was setup earlier in the evening by Director of Operations Kane"

Michael Cole's voice was irritating me as i stood backstage watching them on the television screen in our dressing room. 

"You know this is Kane trying to get back at the shield for triple power bombing him on RAW last week, it's an unfair match if you ask me. I mean come on three on one? Why would you do that to Mia, she's a lovely girl"

I couldn't help smile as Jerry stuck up for me, he'd always been my favourite of the three ringside commentators and he was completely right, this was an unfair match to get back at us for kicking Kane's ass. I wasn't about to let that get to me though, I was determined to kick their asses. 

"You ready baby?"

Roman asked as i finished up my stretches. I nodded my head and followed him out of the dressing room to door we were entering from, Dean stood behind me rubbing my shoulders and getting me hyped while Seth gave me tips and advice to keep the match in my favour. Roman on the other hand was leaning against the wall opposite me staring intently, when Dean and Seth stepped back he came forward and placed his hands on either side of my face pressing his forehead to mine

"You be careful out there Mia, If you need to roll out of that ring and take a breather. Summer should be a breeze, we all know she's scared shit less of you. It's the other two you have to watch. You got this baby girl, piece of cake"

He kissed me just as our theme music started

SIERRA. HOTEL. INDIA. ECHO. LIMA. DELTA. SHIELD

I lead the way through the crowd with my belt around my waist my focus on the ring where my three opponents were waiting. As i climbed into the ring i took the belt and held it over my head smirking at the crowd. i could see Alicia and Aksana exchanging looks so i quickly gave my belt to the ref and backed into a corner waiting to see who would strike first, both girls came running at me at once so i acted shocked and waited until they were right in front of me before using the ropes to lift myself kicking the both in the face when they dropped i took the opportunity to grab Aksana by the hair and pull her to her feet while the ref got Alicia out of the ring

"Get your ass up here"

I screamed at Aksana before kicking her in the stomach, using her bent over position i ran into the ropes bouncing off and giving her a running knee to the face. Alicia was screaming at her to get up and tag her in while Summer looked scared. While Aksana was down i ran at them smacking Summer off the apron and onto the ground below hopefully eliminating her from the match just as i turned my attention back to Aksana she blindsided me with a kick to the face dazing me and causing me to drop to the mat. My ears were buzzing slightly and i had to shake my head trying to regain my composure. She quickly leapt on me as i tried to get to my feet hitting me with a flurry of frenzied punches before pulling me over to the corner where she tagged Alicia in. Damn it i had to try get the advantage back. 

"Hold her still"

Aksana did as she said before Alicia started kicking me in the stomach knocking the wind out of me. The ref got Aksana out of the ring before Alicia swung me into the opposite corner and ran at me throwing her elbow into my chest, my legs gave out and i dropped to the mat trying desperately to catch my breath

"Come on baby get up, you got this"

I shot Roman a quick smile before pushing myself to stand just as Alicia began show boating around the ring like her crazy ass always did. Aksana and Summer who had made her way back onto the apron were both pointing at me trying to get Alicia's attention and when she turned i ran at her hitting her with a running knee. I went for the pin but she kicked out at two making me growl in frustration. I got up and hit her a few more times before giving her a pile driver just as i went to pin her again i was pulled off and up onto my feet then whoever had me let me go, i spun around in time to see Summer running at me with a clothesline but i ducked under her outstretched arm and as she bounced back i drop kicked her. Alicia was still on the ground so i ran at Aksana knocking her off the apron before going back to pin Alicia

"1, 2, 3"

The bell rung and i got to my feet with my fists raised into the air, Summer had already crawled out of the ring so i got Alicia by her hair and tossed her through the ropes and onto the ground when i was joined by the guys. Dean had a mic in his hand and a crazy smirk on his face. The ref came over and raised my hand in the air then Seth snatched my belt from his hands and pushed him aside. He kissed my head and gave me the belt lifting my hand as he did. I couldn't help but laugh at him as he shot me a cheeky grin.

"You did great baby"

Roman murmured in my ear before kissing my gently. His hand settled on the small of my back and Dean paced in front of us, he was about to say something when Kane's theme music and pyro came on. It always creeped me out when the lights went out and the red glow from the stage lit the ring. His face appeared on the TitanTron and i felt Roman move closer to me

"Another lucky match Mia, you managed to beat three of the best Divas on the roster. Hats off to you but the nights not over. You four are still going to pay for your disobedience so tonight Roman, Seth and Dean will face The Real Americans, Alberto Del Rio, 3MB, Rybaxel, Fandango and the Rhodes brothers in an 11 on 3 handicap match"

I gasped in shock as Kane began to laugh into the camera then the screen cut black. This could not be happening. When the lights came on Roman and Seth looked tense while Dean and was jumping around in front of us

"It's okay guys, we got this. We are the shield, the hounds of justice we got this"

We all nodded our heads in agreement before joining our fists in the middle of the ring. Dean raised the mic to address the crowd

"11 on 3, they seem like pretty good odds. Don't you worry Kane we got this. Believe in the Shield"
