The first time I've even heard about Gency was the time I was addicted to the character Genji. I thought he was very intresting and started looking up his voice lines and heard the voiceline with him and mercy "You seem well Genji... " "I am different man I am whole.."
And I was like wow that's pretty cute then I discovered more voicelines with those two. And I was like holy shit they're cute together.
So then I look through their ship "Gency" and it turns out they have cuteass fanart and the cover of this book is one of the fanarts that really got me into the Gency ship.
And then theres Gaku the voice actor for Genji who kept posting his Gency shit and then here we are now!! Me a full time Gency shipper!!
