Maddie's POV

I turned around and saw Sebastian. "Ok, just go a head and say it. Oh. But try not to break my heart in some way this time." I said and he stepped closer and took my hands in his.
"Ok, I know I was mean and rude last year about being a dad. But I didn't mean it I want a family. With you and Lloyd. I don't care when and I don't care if you turn me down but please hear me out." Sebastian said as he let go of my hands. "I should have done this 3 years ago rather than accuse you of cheating on me." He whispered to himself. "Seb what are you-" before I could finish he took off his sunglasses and cap. He then got on his knee and pull out a black box from his pocket.
"Maddie, please let me finish." He said and opened the box. In there was a beautiful ring and my hand flew up to my mouth. "Oh my god!" I whispered.
"Years pass, we're growing older and you're not sure you can wait. So I promise, it won't always be like this. You say, "It's always the same." We're falling apart if you think so I'm holding on even if you let go. Take all of your doubts, You can throw 'em out. You may be unsure, but I knowI'm always coming back. I can pay it back tenfold. You're the only place I've ever called my home," He said "Maddie. Will you marry me?" He asked and I could see the tears run down his face, even if there weren't many there.
"Sebastian did you you really use the lyrics of my favourite song to do that? And did you think that by using them it would win me over? Because we did fall apart." I said as he got up. "Maddie, I know that I was a jerk but please. I never stopped loving you.  And yes I did use your favourite song but no. I wasn't hoping that was what would make you say yes. Just Maddie." Sebastian said as he took my hands.
