Gray's POV
We arrived at the restaurant it was a fancy kind of place but yet it was still casual. We started to eat. When we finished eating we walked back to my car and I drove us to the beach I played some music and began to talk to Sarah. I had planned this big thing for her so I could give her a promise ring.
I looked over to her and said.
"Hey, umm can we talk?"
"Uhh, yeah sure."
The timing was perfect because the sun was just setting and it was a beautiful night.
"Umm. Okay this is really scary for me so I'm just gonna do it."
"Do what?" She asked confused.
"Just listen for me will ya."
I asked her while getting down on one knee to give her the ring.
Sarah's POV
Gray got down in one knee I was confused until he started talking. He started to talk.
" I cannot promise you a life of sunshine. I cannot promise you a life of riches, wealth, or gold. I cannot promise you an easy pathway that leads away from change or growing old.
But I can promise you all of my heart devotion. I smile to chase away your tears of sorrow. A love that's ever true and ever growing. A hand to hold in yours through each tommorow. And with this promise I say to you. Will you except my promise?"
I couldn't help but cry. I hugged him and gave him a passionate kiss and said.
"YES. I except your promise."
"Oh my god that's great! This whole time I was thinking you were never going to except it."
"Well I did."
"I love you."
"I love you more gray."
"Oh well that's impossible."
I couldn't help but smile and laugh. This was the perfect night I never wanted it to end.
The whole time this was happening the song "first flight home by Jake Miller" played.
"I guess this is our song now huh?" Gray asked me with a smile on his face.
"Yes it is." I returned the same smile.
Ok I'm back at it with another one... once again I've been begged by a friend to continue this book. So here ya go.
