My mom and I walk through the mall. After shopping for what seemed like hours, we finally stopped to et lunch.
"So what's going on?" She asks crunching on a sub.
"Jen went out to dinner with nick, I found out and we got in a fight. I sad things I didn't mean and she left." I explain.
"That's not so bad josh. All you have to do is apologize."
"Mom it's not just that..." I pause, "I let her leave." I sigh running my hands through my now ruffled hair.
"Sweetie. If it was meant to be it will be. Just be patient."
"I know but... I just.. I mean I let her leave mom. What does that say about me?!"
"It says nothing. you are an amazing man and boyfriend. Just give it time honey. I promise everything works out in the end. If it doesn't work out, it's not the end."
"Thanks mom. You truly are the best."
"It's what I do."
"I love you so much."
"I love you too honey."
We throw the garbage away and start walking, only to be swarmed by paps. I grab my moms hand ad pull her towards the car.
*Jens P.O.V**
I have been sitting on this couch, in the exact same spot since this morning. Drinking luke-warm beer thinking about everything that happened. I hear someone's footsteps walking down the hallway.
"Jen..." nick sighs.
I stand up and run to him. He holds me right as the tears pour from my eyes.
"Hey, hey. Shh it's okay baby." He coos.
"I messed up Nick." I cry.
"No he messed up for letting you go."
We sit back down on the couch. I rest my head on his shoulder as he wraps his arms around me. What am I doing! this is what broke us up. Josh has no reason to trust me.
"I'm a horrible person!" I cry out.
"No. No you aren't." nick whispers.
He pulls me super close to him. I am crying about my ex to my ex. Well I don't think we are broken up anymore. Nick seems to think we are together. I don't know if I want to be with him or not. I mean he is a great guy but then there is Josh.
