Chapter 26b - OTHER SIDE OF THE PANCAKE

"When the report about Robin was already sent to me, I got furious. It was confirmed. He was seeing somebody else aside from my sister. And the report said that Robin and the other girl were already engaged. The girl was pregnant." My voice shook with rage again. "He and Michelle also celebrated their first year anniversary as a couple that same month I learned about everything."

Willa got up and squatted again. She covered her mouth with her hand and gasped. "Napakasama niya. Bakit hindi na lang siya nagsabi ng totoo?"

"I came home from the office that day holding the report. I immediately went to the study. Mom and Dad were both there so I showed them what I got. Dad slammed it and tore it into pieces. He said that it was a crap. Of course, I got mad. We argued. That was the first time he raised his voice on me. I was also shocked of his reaction but I was mad myself."

"Ilang beses ko pang sasabihin sa'yo, Dominic Marcus, na huwag na huwag mong pakikialaman ang buhay ng kapatid mo?!"

"Ano'ng gusto mo? Tinatanga na tayo, okay lang sa'yo?"

"DM, tama na. Pumasok ka na sa kwarto mo." Mom held my hand but I stayed firmly to where I was standing.

"How can you do this to your sister?"

"Hindi, Pa! How can you do this to your own daughter?"

"Punyeta! Huwag mo akong pagsasalitaan ng ganyan! You do not know our feelings dahil sa lintik na trabahong mas pinipili mong pagtuunan ng pansin!"

"Ano'ng mali sa ginawa ko? Pinatunayan ko lang na tama ang sinabi ko sa inyo the very first time! And now that I have evidence, you get mad? So you want Michelle to keep her relationship with that scumbag? For what? Dahil siya ang malaking dahilan why she slowly turned normal? Basta ma-maintain na normal si Michelle, okay lang na inuuto siya?!"

"How dare you!" Dad tried to close our gaps and attempted to pull my collar but Mom immediately rushed between us.

"Daniel, tama na!" Mom mediated. "DM, pumasok ka na sa kwarto mo. Please lang, hijo."

"Mind your own business, son! Do not meddle with my daughter's life!"

"What is your freaking point, Senyor? I already showed you proofs that Robin is engaged to a pregnant girl! Dalawang buwan nang buntis 'yung babae at ikakasal na sila anytime from now! All I want is to keep Michelle away from him!"

"Enough!!!"

Everyone turned their heads to that one person entering the room.

"My princess, you should not be here." Dad met her but she refused to have a hug.

Michelle started crying helplessly. She heard everything. Migo rushed to us when he heard a commotion from the study.

"M-mahal na m-mahal ko si R-robin! B-bakit n-niya nagawa s-sa akin 'to?! M-mahal na m-mahal k-ko siya, P-papa! B-bakit? B-bakit niya n-nagawa ang lahat ng ito sa a-akin, P-papa?"

She was breaking down infront of our very eyes.

And just like that, we were unable to hush Michelle down. We just watched her. She never let anyone touch her. She was crying like crazy. Mom was also crying hard and Migo hugged her. Dad used all his might to envelope Michelle in his arms. She never stopped crying in pain.

"P-papa! A-ng sakit-sakit, P-papa! B-bakit n-niya nagawa 'yun? R-robin!!!"

I never thought that could happen to my family. Not even once.
