As the morning light filtered through the curtains, I slowly opened my eyes, surprised to find that it was already noon. Mew lay beside me, still lost in the land of dreams, his soft snores filling the room. I couldn't help but smile as I gazed at him, reaching out to stroke his hair and trace the lines of his face with my fingertips.

My heart swelled with affection as I watched Mew sleep peacefully beside me. I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by the love I held for him. With each passing day, it seemed like my feelings for him only grew stronger. As I gently caressed his hair and admired his tranquil expression, I love him so much. Every moment with him is a treasure, and I find myself falling deeper and deeper for him with each passing day.

However, my smile faded as I recalled my last conversation with Engfa, the unwelcome surge of jealousy I had felt. I felt foolish and embarrassed, dreading the thought of facing Engfa again on Monday.

Placing my head in my hands, I cringed at the memory of my unintentional display of jealousy, especially since I hadn't even had a drop of alcohol.

The memory of my jealousy clawed at me, filling me with self-doubt. I couldn't shake the feeling that I had somehow betrayed Mew with my irrational emotions.

A soft buzz from my phone broke through my reverie, drawing my attention away from my spiraling thoughts. It was a message from Marima, followed by Tina and Heidi, all checking in on me after the events of last night. I responded with a quick assurance of my well-being, though the knot of unease in my stomach remained.

Pushing myself out of bed, I made my way to the kitchen, the familiar routine of preparing breakfast a welcome distraction.

The sound of sizzling bacon and bubbling coffee filled the air as I lost myself in the simple tasks of cooking.

Preparing breakfast, I found myself joined by Phalo, my mischievous rabbit, and Joy, my ever-loyal canine companion. They darted around my feet, their playful antics bringing a smile to my face despite the weight of my thoughts. They were more than just pets; they were my confidants, my companions, my unwavering source of comfort in times of need.

As Mew eventually joined me in the kitchen, his sleepy eyes brightened at the sight of food. I couldn't help but smile as he wrapped his arms around me, pulling me into a warm embrace before planting a soft kiss on my lips.

"How are you feeling this morning, love?" Mew asked, his voice soft and filled with genuine concern. His warm brown eyes met mine, and I couldn't help but be captivated by the depth of emotion reflected in them.

I leaned into his embrace, finding solace in the familiar rhythm of his heartbeat. "Just a bit tired, I guess."

"Thanks for asking," I murmured, my voice barely audible as I nestled closer to him. "How about you? How are you feeling this morning?"

I looked up at Mew, searching his eyes for any sign of fatigue or stress. Despite the late night, he appeared refreshed and ready to face the day ahead.

His easy smile reassured me, easing the lingering tension in my chest.

As Mew poured himself a cup of coffee, he leaned against the kitchen counter, his gaze lingering on me. "Honestly, I feel pretty good," he replied, his tone casual. "Last night was fun, wasn't it? It's not often we get to let loose like that."

I nodded in agreement, a faint smile playing on my lips. "Yeah, it was nice to unwind for a change," I admitted, pouring myself a cup of tea.

"How was with Engfa last night?" he added, his voice filled with genuine curiosity. "Oh, you know, just the usual," I replied, trying to sound nonchalant.
