Chapter 97

Kimiko's P. O. V:

A loud explosion reaches my ears but I have no idea what the hell is going on.

"Amazing! Naruto..." Hinata trails off, awe in her voice.

"What's going on?!" I demand.

Hinata explains, "His Sage Jutsu is working!"

Sakura and I gasp in surprise before we smile proudly for our teammate.

Sometime later, a large tree with huge red flowers growing on either side of it rises up out of the ground. Four large crimson Tailed Beast Bombs form around the tree, causing us to gasp. Obito has risen higher into the sky.

"This is super bad!" Exclaims a Sand nin.

"Four of them? And all at once?!" Gasps a Leaf ninja.

Kitsuchi says, "Even if we all made an Earth Style Wall it—it wouldn't work. There's too many of them!"

A Hashirama clone calls to us, "Do not give up, everyone! I am with you through my clones! We only need to change the trajectory of those spheres. The other Hokage will also take measures and repel them across the ocean. Put up an Earth Style Wall! I'll use Deep Forest Emergence to launch and guide them towards the ocean."

Obito fires black rods glowing with crimson flames and they embed in the ground around us. He then does hand signs. The same Six Crimson Flames Barrier from before rises up around us.

"A barrier!" A Leaf nin points out.

"Hey!" Cries a Sand nin, whipping around. "Don't tell me that all of us—!"

Hashirama explains, "He's trapped us all inside the barrier and made it so we can't expel the Tailed Beast Bombs." A protective black sphere forms around Obito.

"He's planning to trap us inside this barrier and blow us up along with it!" A man shouts in startling realisation as the sphere completely closes around Obito.

"What can we do?!" Someone asks.

I blink and gaze down at my hands as Naruto's Nine Tails' chakra cloak forms around all of us.

"Wait—this is Naruto's...!" Lee exclaims, trailing off as the rest of us gain chakra cloaks.

Sakura murmurs as she gazes at her hands, "So then, it wasn't depleted?"

Katsuyu informs us, "I noticed it when I was healing everyone. It seems that it had merely shrunk."

Choji notes, "It's actually bigger and more powerful than before!"

Shikamaru mutters as he gazes at his chakra covered hand, "So then, you're thinking about protecting us all from that attack with this chakra, Naruto."

The auburn haired man with Sasuke takes off in Sasuke's direction.

A Hashirama clone says in astonishment, gazing around, "Whoa! I can't believe he shared his chakra with every other shinobi. He's got almost as much chakra as I do! Hold on—this has Nine Tails' chakra mixed in."

We all braced ourselves as the four Tailed Beast Bombs are launched at us.

A massive pillar of flames shoot up through the barrier and when it clears, the barrier around Obito fades so he could see us.

We were all stunned as to how we're alive.

Choji remarks, gazing at his hands, "I guess this chakra has protected us once again."

"Not quite," Shikamaru says seriously. "Check it out, you guys."
