Chapter 24: Little Diary of Horrors

Author: Before we hop in, sorry about not updating last night!  I planned on doing so but got caught up in.....binging Total Drama.  But yeah let's hop into it!

   

                       Ayanokoji Pov
The breeze had turned to a chill has I walked through the halls of the ship.  I couldn't help but shiver as I looked out the windows of the ship.  The clouds were gathering in a dark crowd, threatening to storm in any minute.

I turned my eyes away from the coming storm and saw a figure walking away as someone attempted to reach after them.  From the distance I was at, I couldn't tell who it was so I edged closer.  The figure walking away stopped and as I got closer...

Hirata: Karuizawa-San wait!

Why was he calling her Karuizawa?  If I remember correctly, everywhere else he called her Kei.  Did they break up or something?  Neither of them seem like the type to get into relationships for a day or two then jump ship

Karuizawa: Hirata-Kun, why won't you help me?!  Those biatches are bullying me!  You saw it yourself

Hirata: Karuizawa-San, it's not like I don't understand it's just I don't-

Karuizawa: Don't want to what?  Don't want to hurt them?!  Get it through your skull that you need t do something! 

Karuizawa whipped around and stormed off as Hirata meekly stretched his hand out in attempt ti stop her but no words came out.  I stared at the scene as Hirata sat down at a bench and I decided to show myself

Ayanokoji: Hey Hirata-Kun, I saw what happened...

Hirata: Eh?!  Oh Ayanokoji-Kun it's just you.  So...

Ayanokoji: Why were you two calling each other by each others family names?  I though you guys were dating?!

Hirata: Well we are-erm well...

Hirata stared at the ground then sighed and looked up with a glum expression

Hirata: I think I can tell you this but...we aren't actually dating.  We are faking it because Karuizawa was bullied...

I know she was having issues with some Class D girls but Hirata said "was" bullied.  She was definitely bullied in her past, that would explain her rocky exterior and sassy attitude.  It's just a way for her to protect herself

Hirata: She was bullied in junior high and she is being bullied by Manabe and her gang.  She came to me and asked me to be her pretend boyfriend.  Manabe and the others are still antagonizing her and we got in a fight.  Do you know what we could do?

Hirata turned toward me with hope in his eyes.  He had no idea what to do because, to be frank, he was a total pacifist.

Ayanokoji: Why not report the girls to the school?  Or do we have no proof?

Hirata: We don't have proof and I don't know what to do.

Suddenly, I had an idea.  A simply awful idea. 

Ayanokoji: I will think about it and will get back to you ok?

Hirata nodded and we parted ways.  I messaged Kikyo for something and she responded with what I needed, and preceded to message two people...

Timeskip

I stood on the catwalk above the storage room and stared down into the room that was lit by a red light.  Outside, I could still hear the booming of lighting as the storm raged on.  Karuizawa walked below me and shivered as I stuck to the shadows to avoid being seen.  Karuizawa looked on her phone and shivered.  I messaged her anonymously to meet me down here
