Chapter 4: Frienship is Magic

As Kanzaki said those words, Horikita and I sent a glance at each other.  Ichinose, sensing our uneasiness, quickly clarified the purpose

Ichinose: See, everyone in Class B is worried.  We want to be able to securely defend ourselves while increasing our class points, but all the classes seem so aggressive.  Class D will certainly try to attack the other classes, and Class A is in a very sensitive state, and any mistake on anyone's part could bring the entire first year into the conflict-

Himeno: So we thought we could make an alliance with Class C to mutually aid each other

Himeno cut Ichinose off, annoyed by how is needlessly dragged itself on

Ayanokoji: This alliance does sound good, but before we agree to anything, can you specify it more?

Horikita: Yes, we want to know how far this alliance and our "friendship" extends.

Ichinose: Well we figured it as, we would hell each other in special exams, and give financial aid to the class that needs it.  That way, we can hold our position and increase our class points, while making sure Class D and A can't cripple our classes

Ayanokoji: I agree, an alliance would be beneficial to our classes.  Seeing how volatile the first year situation is, anything could happen.  Not going to lie, this benefits our class very much, considering Class D and Class C are not far apart at all.

Ichinose: Yes, after the midterms, to be blunt, there is a high chance of Class C and Class D trading positions.  I hope that your class is able to beat them out in the midterms.

Horikita was silently stewing, watching the conversation go down, and she finally spoke up

Horikita: Are you looking down on us, Ichinose-San?

Horikita said in a cold, commanding voice.  It was similar to the student council presidents voice, in its commanding nature.  It made you want to prostrate yourself and follow every command, but the younger Horikita still needs to work on hers, but is still cold and intimidating

Ichinose: W-what do you mean Horikita-San?

Horikita: You are looking down us because we are a lower class aren't you?

Himeno: Tch, we are not looking down on you, we offered this alliance because we are on equal footing

'Damnit, this is bad; Horikita might just ruin our alliance.' 
Ayanokoji: Please Horikita-San, just calm down.  Ichinose-San isn't the type of snooty person who would look down on another person.  In fact, she will always look up to the other people around her.

Ichinose slightly blushed and looked away, something that escapes everyone except me.  Because of that place, are perception was heightened so we noticed things many people did not. 

Horikita: Fine, I will say no more on the topic, but so help me god...

Ichinose shivered then put her hands up in a surrender, as if trying to ward off the ticking time bomb that is Horikita Suzune

Ayanokoji: Our class doesn't have an official leader so, I will bring the alliance up with the other members of Class C.  Can I have your contact information to continue discussing this?

The group exchanged contact info, minus Horikita, who only excepted Ayanokoji and Ichinose's contacts, since they were both central class figures

The group began to walk back to the dorms, and made small talk with each other, as if pretending we weren't just talking about alliances and class matters, and just pretending to be normal teens in high school
