Rain

San sat comfortably next to Wooyoung, passing Yeonjun a side dish he asked for. They were having dinner by the pool, the rain falling lightly outside still. Yeonjun had the windows up, designing them in a way a garage door would open. They all sat down on cushions with blankets wrapped around them, slurping their ramen, enjoying the rain. "It's so peaceful I almost forget AMJ is the day after tomorrow," Mingi said, earning a whine from everyone.

"Pretend you didn't hear him," Yeonjun said, covering Yeosang's ear as he lay down on his lap. His ramen was being kept warm for him as he enjoyed his fried chicken separately. "No wait, he has to listen to this part. What are we going to wear and who's bringing who?" Mingi said. Yunho held his hand subtly. "I'll translate. How are we supposed to take Yeonjun inside?" Yeosang said, Yeonjun taking a bite of his egg.

"Simple. I know MJ," Yeonjun said, looking into Yeosang's eyes. "You know MJ?" Jongho asked, Yeonjun nodding as if that wasn't something he had been keeping from them forever. "Yeah we were on the same flight back," Yeonjun said, not being able to look away from Yeosang. A sudden round of lighting sent shivers down Yunho and Yeosang's spines. They both saw the rows and rows of figures that seemed to be standing there but really weren't.

"How do you keep meeting famous people?" Jongho asked, wondering if there was a secret. Wooyoung leaned into San, resting his head on his shoulder more. He was close to falling asleep, trying his best to stay awake. Being wrapped in a blanket in San's arms with the rain outside really did make it peaceful. Yeonjun saw the figures in the corner of his vision too, Hongjoong killing them all in a blink, taking a sip of his ramen with red eyes. He used his powers, adding onto the protection the box Yeonjun had already provided. It would pass by midnight.

Hongjoong looked at San and Wooyoung needing to talk to the both of them. San first, then Wooyoung. San watched as Wooyoung tried hard to fight off sleep, only to give up. San smiled, tucking Wooyoung deeper into the blanket with his powers. "Wooyoung hyung fell asleep," Jongho said quietly with a sweet smile. Yeonjun and Yeosang both smiled when they looked at him. Yunho took out his phone and took a picture of Wooyoung, sending it to San. He needed fluffy photos in his gallery. "Does he still have trouble sleeping?" Yeonjun asked, shocked at how easily Wooyoung had fallen asleep. "No, not for a while now," Yeosang said, smiling as San looked at Wooyoung with light blue eyes. This was the first time that San heard about that about his human.

"Can you take him upstairs, Sannie?" Yeonjun asked, San nodding as he gently lifted Wooyoung's head. San lifted Wooyoung up, one arm was under his head and the other holding his legs up. He was so careful and caring, Hongjoong and Seonghwa were silently screaming with joy. They shared a look, not being able to hide their smiles. San walked down the hallway, making sure to take the stairs extra slowly. Wooyoung whined in San's arms, San stopping on the last step. "I don't hear the rain," Wooyoung mumbled, falling back asleep. San smiled, kissing Wooyoung's forehead.

"I'll open the window for you," San said, walking to their room, pushing the door open with his shoulder. Wooyoung smiled when San said that, his lips falling back into a pout when he fell asleep again. San pulled back the covers with his powers, putting Wooyoung down on the bed covering him with an extra blanket. He walked over to the window, opening it, the sound of rain filling the room.

Wooyoung smiled, turning to face San who sat down on the bed next to him. "You didn't tell me what the rain means," Wooyoung said, still in his sleepy state. He took San's hand in his own, shaking it weakly. "Tell meee ~" Wooyoung asked, his eyes staying open. San found Wooyoung adorable, huffing when Wooyoung fell back asleep again. "Why would you ask me to tell you and then fall asleep before I can?" San said lovingly, hearing Wooyoung's soft breathing.

Actually, come to think of it, now was the perfect time to tell Wooyoung. He could tell him why it rained and then tell him about how he was asleep for the answer. That way he didn't have to explain it again.
