“OMG Chase will you stop it!” I scream at him while laughing my ass off.

“Make me!” He says throwing more water on me.

It’s been a little over a month since Chase and I decided to be friends again and it’s now May. Chase called me up and asked me if I wanted to go on a walk with him. At first I was a little skeptical because it’s been raining a lot lately. It looked really sunny outside, though, so I agreed. Unfortunately it started to rain 15 minutes into our walk and Chase declared we have a water fight. He kept cupping his hands, collecting water in them, and throwing it in my face. It was funny because he was acting so childish but he was really starting to mess up my hair. I hate when it gets all tangly because it looks like I have an afro instead of just really curly hair.

“Chase if you don’t stop I’m going home and not coming back!”  I scream.

He looks at me apologetically.

“Sorry.” He says, making a sad pouty face at me.

“It’s fine.” I say, holding my arms out for him to hug me.

He pulls me to him and hugs me really tightly.

“Ouch!” I yelp.

“What?! What’s wrong?” Chase lets go of me and searches all over my body.

I look away, a little embarrassed.

“What just happened Ivy-Reece?” He squints at me through the heavy rain.

“Umm, you hurt my, uh…” I can’t really voice my thoughts.

“I hurt your what?” Chase prods, sounding genuinely confused.

“My breasts…” I mumble, not breaking eye contact with the ground.

“I hurt your breasts? How?” Now Chase is more confused than ever.

“You hugged me too tight.”

“I always hug you like that though. Why would it hurt you now?”

“I don’t know. They’ve just been really…tender…lately.”

I look up in enough time to see a weird look cross Chase’s face.

“What?” I ask him.

“C’mon, let’s get out of this rain.” He suggests.

I agree and we fast walk through the rain back to Chase’s house.

When we walk in Dylan is in the living room sprawled across the couch. He’s fast asleep, snoring very loudly. Chase and I walk upstairs after taking off our soaked shoes. By the time we’re in his room I’m shivering because my clothes are drenched and the AC is always cranked up in the Matthews’ house.
