Him and Giovanni came running to the river looking for danger. She ran to Khan and cried. Between the tears and sniffles she said. "Lyle hit her." Sniff, hiccup. She said "find camping." More tears, "clues." Sniff, deep breath, a couple coughs, "he absorbed."
"Shhh, calm down. Your not making since." He then picked her up and carried her back to camp while working to calm her down. She cried herself to sleep and he laid her down in her sleeping bag. He saw Giovani do the same thing to Jean. He nodded his head to go outside the tent.
Freya whispered, "I will watch them. Go figure out what upset them."
They walked outside the tent and went to the fire. He looked over at Giovani, "did you get anything from Jean? What Joan was saying did not make much since."
Darren who is still sitting at the campfire says "let me get my notebook and write it down. Maybe I can help you figure it out." He walks over to his bag and pulls it out. While walking back to sit down they their party emerging from tents or the woods. The only ones not there are Frey's who is with the girls; and Mitch and Shelley who are on guard duty.
Charlene ask, "what happened to use set the girls like that?"
King Khan replies, "the girls woke up from some dream and insisted on heading to the river. Giovanni and I went to guard them since outside the circle. They wouldn't let us go into the river so we guarded them. We watched them and they were looking at the water."
Charlene said, "she has power if they can project through water to someone"
Giovanni then continued. "I tried to use my hearing to listen, but could not hear what they were saying until Jean screamed out my name. Joan screamed out King Khan's name. All the way back she was saying a bunch of things between tears until she cried herself to sleep."
Khan said, "Darren was grabbing his notebook to write down what we could make out."
Fiona said, "give me the notebook and I will write down what they say say. Your handwriting is terrible." Darren hands her a pen and his notebook. She writes Joan and Khan on one side and Jean and Giovanni on the other side. "Call out what you remember and I will write it down."
They nod. Giovanni calls out, "Lyle killed friends."
Khan said, "Lyle hit her."
Gio said, " yes, Jean said, 'he hit her-lost her."
Gio then said, "camping has map."
Khan adds, "she said 'find camping' and 'clue'."
Gio added, "he wants us."
Khan replies, "absorbed."
Dio replied, " she mumbled before she fell to sleep, 'I kill him'."
Khan says, "yeah absorbed was last word Joan said before she fell asleep. Then we carried them and laid them down."
