━ DAYS HAD PASSED SINCE THE PHILOSOPHER'S STONE INCIDENT. Her suspicions were right, as it was the stuttering professor who was trying to steal the stone.
The young Black's reputation had grown even more after that night. Athena was already well known the moment she had joined Hogwarts. Formerly, people had known her for not surviving the night at Godric's Hollow. A few years later, people have mentioned that they had spotted her every now and then. Her arrival to Hogwarts had just confirmed the rumours, that she was truly alive and had not died.
Now, just during her first year at Hogwarts, she was known as the mischievous troublemaker who somehow got top marks in all her classes. She was smart, but not so smart at the same time either. Though there wasn't any surprise there since everyone knew her father was the famous Sirius Black, not many knew that there was more to her than just a smart prankster.
When word spread out that the four first years had managed to stop Quirell from stealing the Stone, it wasn't hard to notice that their names were spread around the hallways like wildfire. Harry and Athena were fine with attention, but Ron and Hermione seems to be adjusting to the sudden notice.
The four were now sitting in the Great Hall, listening to Dumbledore give his last speech of the year. Everyone already knew that Slytherin was going to win the house cup as that would be the reason for the green banners surrounding the walls. That would also be why Athena sat there with a massive pout on her face.
Many cheers had erupted from the greenhouse as Dumbledore had announced that they have won the House Cup. "However, recent events must be taken into account, and I have a few last-minute points to award." Dumbledore interrupted. Athena looks at her friends, noticing the hopeful looks on their faces.
"First to Miss Hermione Granger, for the cool use of intellect when others are in grave peril. Fifty points!." Athena grinned widely, cheering and clapping loudly for her friend.
"Second, to Miss Athena Black. for being strong and helping the people around her no matter what difficult challenges occur. I also award fifty points!" The grin on Athena's face only grew wider. Many familiar faces had cheered and looked at her proudly as she received a pat on the back by a certain red-headed twin.
"Third, to Mister Ronald Weasley. For the best-played game of chess, Hogwarts has seen these many years. Another fifty points." By now, Athena's cheeks were aching as she clapped and cheered for her friends.
"And next, to Mister Harry Potter. For pure love and outstanding courage. I award Gryffindor house sixty points!" Athena couldn't be happier in that moment. Many cheers had applauded the group – mainly from their housemates.
"Wait but we're tied with Slytherin!" Someone from Gryffindor had yelled out.
(¡a/n! let's pretend that the Slytherins were given an extra 50 points from the start)
"I still have one last award to give." The headmaster announced. Suspense had easily filled the Hall as many students were waiting to see who would receive the house cup. "It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to your enemies, but a great deal more to stand up to your friends. I award ten points to Neville Longbottom." Athena stood up, cheering and yelling as loud as she can as she couldn't be more happier at that moment. "Assuming my calculations are correct, I believe that a change of decoration is in order." The green banners had then turned red. "Gryffindor wins the House Cup!"
The Great Hall had roared with loud cheers. Majority were from the Gryffindors, but many were also heard from the Ravenclaws and the Hufflepuffs. It was easy to notice the Slytherin drop down to their spots, frowns creeping upon their faces.

"You two. Remember to owl us okay?" Athena hugged the red-head boy and the bushy-haired girl, Harry joining in on the hug.
"Promise. But before you guys, go I want you to meet my parents!" Hermione squealed. The three nodded and a few moments later, Hermione's parents had walked to them. Hermione had introduced her friends to her parents, Athena smiling widely and shaking the hands of two parents in front of her. Though Harry and Ron were a tad bit nervous, it had quickly washed away as Athena had shown there wasn't anything to be nervous about.
Soon enough after that, Sirius had found the three. When he arrived in front of the group, the young Black had introduced her father to her best friend and her family. James was near them, talking to the Weasley family.
"Alright Fi, boys, your parents are probably looking for you guys now. It was really nice meeting you both. My daughter would probably want to hang out with Hermione over the holidays so maybe we can discuss it over a letter." The older Black smiled. The Granger family smiled and they all said their goodbyes.
The three children and Sirius walked over to James, who was talking to Molly and Arthur. "Molly! This is my daughter Athena." Sirius introduced her child.
Athena grinned. "Oh, it's so nice to meet you, Athena! Ron had told us about you a lot in his letters. So did the twins, saying that they met a perfect partner." Molly told the girl, smiling knowingly.
"That's my girl," Sirius whispered to his daughter, patting her back as he smiled mischievously, knowing that the Weasley twins were known pranksters in Hogwarts.
Athena smiled sheepishly. "I don't know whether or not you are going to be mad because I helped your sons cause more trouble, but it's really nice to meet you too!"
Molly didn't seem to mind the first part as she just smiled at the young girl and hugged her tight. Molly knew the young girl's mother. She'd known Maddie way before the First Wizarding War had started. You could say that Maddie was like Molly's younger sister. She would go over to the burrow and babysit the Weasley children, hanging out with them as if they were another family. As Molly had looked at Athena, she could easily tell the resemblance between her and her mother.
"Hey, how about you guys come over to my place tomorrow? We can catch up a bit more and the kids can hang out. I'll send you an owl later for more information if you want." Sirius told the two Weasley parents.
"That would be fantastic! I'm sure they wouldn't mind and it would be nice catching up with you both." Arthur smiled.
"Yes! Although please hide any pranking materials you have in your house. I don't want the twins getting more ideas." Molly looked at Sirius.
"Won't be too hard. Pretty sure 'Thena's already taken them all and she hides things pretty well."
Molly and Arthur nodded, smiles not leaving their faces. Athena had met the youngest Weasley and they immediately started talking to each other as if they've known each other for a long time.
It wasn't long until the three families had apparated away from the station. Holding onto her trunk, the two Blacks were now in their humble abode.

"So... A small dinner to celebrate the end of your first year?" The long-haired man asked her daughter. Athena gave her father one of her famous grins as she nodded. "Alright, you wanna ring Tony?"
Athena nodded again as she pulled her trunk up the stairs, leaving it in her room. She ran down the stairs again, running up to their peaceful living room, running over to the phone which Sirius had left on their coffee table.
Tony had taught them how to use a cellphone, though they didn't really use it a lot since Sirius was still getting the hang of using muggle technology. The black-haired girl had unlocked the phone, immediately ringing Tony's contact. "Hello?"
