"More chocolate? Hmm? You sure?" We just barely have some spare time before we all have to file ourselves into what has served as the Luna's conference room once we get back to the hotel after lunch... But extra time means we have time to go get chocolate first before we have to sit back down... And I just cannot find any fault in that logic...
It seems like my big sweet Daddy can't either because his chuckling continues, the way his hands are supporting my bottom lets him give me a squeeze that makes my face just a bit red... But that isn't a problem either because I get to hide my face in his neck and he smells so good all the time... I always hoped I would find a man who would feed me chocolate and offer to read to me constantly... And here I am... Not even having to walk on my own if I don't want to... I love Silas to frigging much sometimes that I'm not always sure what to do with myself...

My sweet Princess squeals right into my shoulder, wiggling away and making me pause just for a second so he can swing his legs and be goofy over being charmed... I need to go back to saying more stuff like that out loud... Because it's absolutely adorable when he gets all wiggly and giggly and cute... It's adorable... And he is absolutely too cute for words...
Eventually, my Wiggle Worm settles down and I'm able to finish sauntering us over to the stash of vending machines just a little ways down the hall from where Lukas and the others stand congregated and giggling, Aurie and Cricket having been the last to join us because they wanted to stay outside and smoke... Something I didn't realize professional singers were allowed to do... Until they got back inside and I realized that they hadn't meant cigarettes and I don't know if I could name a performer alive who hasn't dipped their toes into weed... Even if the two of them are only doing it for Aurie's medical reasons... It fits and I don't really feel the need to question it... Though I am wondering if we should have asked if we could grab them anything as a snack...
I don't have time to focus on it really though with the feel of Addy letting go of me so he can be lowered to the ground safely, his hands already doing their best to comb through my pockets for my wallet with a grin on his face... Because he's getting a second helping of chocolate after having that candy bar earlier, and a shake and piece of cake instead of fries with his burger... His reason for the swap of the fries that would normally come with the deliciously built sandwich being that he has to keep the baby happy...
Which is also why he told me he can't eat nuggets anymore... Because apparently, the baby knows that we've been calling them different variations of nicknames like 'Our little Nugget', and he doesn't want the baby to think that they need to be afraid of getting nibbled on in case our child might try and camp out in his belly and refuse to come out and greet the world when its time... My sweet... Silly... Beautiful... Mate...
My sweet, silly, beautiful mate who does a happy dance as soon as he turns around and sees all of the different candy options he gets to choose from...
I don't know how I ever got so lucky but I don't think there will ever be a day where I'm not thanking the Gods that he walked right into my life with such ease... Even if he spends every single waking moment obsessing over chocolate and books and babies... To me... It makes him so much more than cute... It makes him soft... And his softness is exactly what I needed in my life.

"Princess... Why don't you pick out something for Aurie and Cricket too?" Daddy has such a big smile on his face when I glance over my shoulder to make sure he really means it, his wallet still held hostage in my hands as I shuffle from side to side trying to make up my mind over what I want... If I want the one with almonds again or if I want to live it up and get something filled with caramel because caramel sounds so good right now...
It may just be that I've had so much sugar today that I'm not ever going to want anything salty ever again... But I know that even if that were the case that Daddy would still make me eat some vegetables just like he did at lunch when he asked the waitress to bring me some broccoli to go with my burger that had to be eaten before he let me have my slice of cake.... I know that I'll still be able to get all of the chocolate... Don't get me wrong... Just... That I'll have to take breaks for vegetables even when I don't want them...
"I'd bet you'd want them if I dressed it up like that egg sandwich you like... Lots of melted cheese and plenty saucy." I know that if I check over my shoulder the only thing I'm going to get is my bottom pinched while Daddy winks at me... But I do it anyway and revel in the way he chuckles and slips his hand right where it should be... My hip so he can hold me and pick out a snack for himself as well because he knows better after keeping my cake from me until after veggies not to expect random bites of my next snack.
