Hi everyone! I hope all of you are in good health and staying safe!

It took a while, but here's the latest chapter! Definitely one of the longest, so I hope all of you enjoy it!

Vibrant and colorful is the view that can be seen for miles on end. Flowers of all types sway to the sides by the calm breeze blowing through the realm of light. And at the center of the endless sea of flowers shows a large, square-shape marble gravestone. "It's been a while, hasn't it, Mother?" A pretty bouquet of roses is placed in front of the grave by Sayomi, she drops to one knee in respect. The sad blood-red eyes gaze at the gold engraving on the marble that reads 'Here Lies A Wonderful Woman And A Loving Mother. Satomi Valhell.'

"How many years has it been since I last visited you?" The Pureblood stare at the exotic world she created. Nothing but white, pure sky, and vivid flowers. "Must be over five years now... Following losing Nawin, I came to visit you." A solemn smile forms on Sayomi's face when reminiscing the difficult moments of her past. Inhaling a deep breath, Dracul exhales and looks back at the tombstone. "Sorry for not visiting more often, Mother... Though," the smile on Sayomi's face widen slightly, "If you were here, you'd probably ridiculed me on somethings else, won't you?" A faint chuckle escapes from the Pureblood's mouth, "You must hate the position I'm in right now."

Taking a seat, Sayomi soaks in the warm breeze blowing past her, lifting her soft silver locks up for a moment, her eyes remain fixed at the name etched in the gravestone. "... It's been a while, Karasu." Sayomi glances back, gazing at the person as tall as her stepping out of the spirals of flower petals. That black cloak with red roses flutters gently by the wind until it settles. Those stoic violet eyes stare undeviatingly at the Pureblood's blood-red orbs.

The Akumi member stride towards Sayomi, who returns attention back to the grave. She feels pressure behind as Karasu takes a seat opposite, their backs leaning against each other. For a moment, a calm silence past as the only sound made is the occasional breeze. "What are you planning, Sayomi?" "My, my, straight to it, hmm?" A nostalgic smile spread across the Pureblood's face; she tilts her head to the right. "Haven't changed one bit. Always so serious when it comes to Nawin." Pulling her right leg to rest her arm on it, Karasu exhales a faint sigh. "Just spill it."

"He will be safe with Ophis, and she'll train him to become stronger to battle with Great Red. As much as I detest that Slithering Dragon, she will help Nawin's growth in the end," "Nawin-kun can't beat Great Red. Ophis is losing patients. A mole there informed me she intends to launch an attack on Great Red in the next two years. That's not enough time. Even if the entire Khaos Brigade launch war at the Apocalypse Dragon, it won't be enough. It is at its strongest while residing in the Dimension Gap." Karasu spares a glance back for a second. "Ophis will lead Nawin-kun to his death. She will use him along with the rest of Khaos Brigade to weaken Great Red, then she'll go in for the kill." A soft chuckle escapes the Pureblood's lip. "You underestimate the boy. You think Nawin will just bend over and follow Ophis's commend?" "... You are playing a perilous game with him, Sayomi" "Dismiss your anger. Ophis understands she'll sign her ending if anything happens to Nawin. He is the sole thing in this world that's holding me back from killing her."

"You should know," Sayomi glance back "I hate that things have to be this way for him. In the end, going to Ophis is his choice. And I say that's best for him to gain the necessary power to protect himself" "Like you know what's best for him, Sayomi" "... Excuse me?" Dracul's reply holds venom, "You want to repeat that one more time, Himejima?" Karasu's eyes sharpen dangerously at being called by that name. The air surrounding the two women begins growing fierce as the petals start levitating around them. "Don't make a repeat of the past... Unlike back then," Sayomi's glowing eyes glance back to stare straight at Karasu's violet orbs, "I'm no longer at a disadvantage."

Flashback

Thunder roars from the gloomy and dark sky as lightning strikes can occasionally be seen in the distance. Stood on the front porch, drenched in the rain, and still wearing the hospital gown, Sayomi stares at the abandoned house with wide eyes. "Nawin..." she whispers the name in grief. She did not want to believe what the Doctor and Nurse said to be true. That her beloved Nawin left. Sayomi drops to her knees on the wet soil, the white gown getting dirty by the mud. Tears start streaming down the blood-red orbs as Dracul stare at the empty house that held so many joyful memories. The warmth scent of Nawin that she would always catch when arriving here is gone. All traces of him are gone.

"You..." Sayomi's eyes grow, and her head lifts up, she drags around to come to face with Karasu. She is dressed in her signature battle uniform that tells Dracul she just returned from a mission. The uniform consists of grey clothing with a black flak jacket and black combat boots. "Karasu..." Instead of greeting the Pureblood with a look of surprise or happiness, the brown-haired woman strides forward, then in a blink of an eye, Sayomi finds herself on the ground with her friend straddled above her, gripping tightly around her neck with one hand. Those violet eyes flare in rage and hatred. "You dare come back after making him cry like that?!" Karasu shouts and raises her right arm to send it down on the Pureblood's face. The punch held enough power to cause the area to tremble as the two sinks into the ground in a noticeable degree. With her weakening state, Sayomi felt that attack and wince in pain. Karasu did not hesitate to deliver another downward punch right at the Pureblood's lip, busting it open. Her rage clearly down in her face to the point even surprises Sayomi. Karasu very rarely allows her emotions to be so fully expressed unless it is with a select member of her family and Nawin.

Another fist rushes down, but this time Sayomi swiftly cocks her head to the right to avoid it. Water and mud splatter on the two when the fist connect the earth. Sayomi stares blankly at the enraged woman above, ignoring the stinging pain on her face and the blood streaming down from the lip. "You were supposed to always be by that boy's side... Look after him... Make him happy," Karasu whispers, her hand around the Pureblood's neck tightens. "After all, I did... You fucking spat on my sacrifice!" Another strike comes down, but Sayomi finally moves and once again avoid the fist then grabs onto the brown-haired shoulders, pushing forward to take her to the ground.

"I had no choice!" Sayomi shouts, trying to restrain her friend but Karasu counter by firing her head up, headbutting the Pureblood off her. "Don't fucking give me that!" Himejima rises to her feet then summons a yellow color light lance in the right hand. "You died because of fear! Because of your cowardice, Nawin suffered! Y-you," Sayomi is surprised to see tears streaming down those violet eyes "I-I had to watch him cry... He was in pain, and I couldn't do a thing! I couldn't reveal myself... I HAD TO STAND THERE IN THE SHADOWS AND WATCH HIM CRY HIS HEART OUT! BECAUSE OF YOU!" Karasu grips the lance tightly then throws it in full force.

Sayomi quickly kicks on the ground to slide back, narrowly missing the lance aimed for her stomach. She looks up and sees Karasu coming down from above with a downward kick, forcing her to roll for the right to dodge it. Sayomi pushes herself off the ground and backflips to her feet. The rain becomes fiercer and washes away the mud on the women's body as they stare piercingly at each other. "I-I'm..." Sayomi's expression softens, "I-" "Don't apologies," Karasu summons a light lance for each hand. "Because I'll be sending you back to the dead now... You weren't good for him."

'... She's serious,' Sayomi mentally cuss at her current weakened state. She needed more blood to fight someone as strong and prodigies like Karasu. The blood she got from the Nurse when she awoke was merely a snack to allow her to function properly. A lance is thrown, and Sayomi quickly returns to focus. She shoots her right leg up to kick the weapon, shattering it into pieces. Karasu appears right at the face of the Pureblood and delivers a side kick to the abdomen that sends her blasting toward the house. Sayomi crashes onto the front door, breaking it down, which sends her tumbling into the dark hallway.

"Argh," Dracul grunts and crawls forward as she hears Karasu's thudding footsteps from behind, entering the house. "Get a look at this place?" Himejima utters, one lance still in hand. Sayomi glances around and takes notice at just how dead the house fills. Furniture, photos, and the warmth she would always feel when entering this place is gone. Sadness once again arises in her heart as Dracul glance forward at the stair ahead. Her nails dig into the wooden floor, penetrating it. Whenever she would enter through that front door, Nawin would always come rushing down that stair to greet her with that adoring grin on his face.

"Feels dead, doesn't it?" Karasu stands beside the Pureblood, staring down at her with that piercing gaze. "You caused this." Holding the lance firmly, Himejima rams it down towards Dracul's head. In the last second, Sayomi brings her right arm up and catches the weapon, clenching it tightly to shatter it into shards. Momentarily stunned, Karasu fails to notice the upper thrust kick aim for her right shin, and it sends her face-first onto the floor. Sayomi gets back to her feet, then grabs Himejima's shoulder and hurls her through the thick wall, sending her crashing into the living room.

Grunting in discomfort, Sayomi stumbles forward and use the wall to keep herself from falling. She pants heavily as her throat begins to feel increasingly dry. 'I can't keep this going...' Pushing herself off the wall, Dracul walks into the living room and sees Karasu getting back to her feet. "I'm not dying here, Karasu," Sayomi tells her friend, "I have to go find Nawin and make it up to him" "You are going to face him when you can't even face yourself?" Karasu snarls, "You'll only end up hurting him, Sayomi."

Those words cause Dracul to look down to her feet in sorrow, missing the roundhouse kick coming from the right and smashing to the side of her face. Karasu wasn't done and grabs the dirty gown to pull Sayomi back and delivers an uppercut right to the chin. The hit lifts her a few feet of the floor, then Sayomi gets a vicious knee strike square at the stomach that makes her eyes enlarge as her mouth throws out saliva. She is sent flying through the windows, crashing into the front porch.

Covered in mud, Sayomi tries to pull herself up until a hand clutches her right arm to flip her over. Straddling over the Pureblood once more, Karasu clench both hands into fists and begins striking down at Sayomi's face in a relentless manner. A sound of flesh hitting flesh booms in the rain as the ground would shake ever lightly when each strike landed. Small puddles on the porch would vibrate by the strength of the punches. It continues for what felt like an eternity as Karasu pours all her anger into the punches, destroying her defenseless friend's face.

In the end, Karasu drops her arms to the sides as the hands are covered in blood. She stares up at the dark sky, breathing heavily in fatigue as the heavily battered Sayomi stare up at her monotonously. Her right eye swollen up to such a degree that she couldn't open it. Her lip is coated in blood. And a large cut is seen across her bloody forehead. "I gave up on him..." Karasu pants out, "I gave up on him because he loves you... And you went off dying on him. I want so badly to ram my lance through that heart of yours, Sayomi." "...You are right..." Karasu looks down to see tears spilling down Dracul's eyes "I was scared... Sacred that If I continued to drink more blood to survive, I would become too powerful and awaken a monster inside of me. A monster that my Father had within him and allowed it to take control of him. Every time I drank blood from a human, I craved for more... I would feel something inside of me trying to break out, and the only reason it hasn't is that I knew if I listened to it, I would end up hurting Nawin."

Karasu moves off Sayomi and takes a seat across from her. Resting an arm on her right knee, she looks ahead with empty eyes. "That doesn't excuse you of this... You were merely scared of something that'll happen if you'd allowed it to happen. Deep down, you wanted to die, didn't you? To prevent that chance of harming Nawin. That thought frightened you because if you listened to that monster within you, there's nothing in this world that could stop you. You'll end up just like your Father." Looking up to the skies, Karasu notices a ray of sunshine begins peeking through the clouds as the rain starts to let up. Seeing that view reminds her of Nawin. Her bundle of sunshine. "You let fear take over your judgment and look where it has led you. Here alone. Nawin is gone from your life. Worse... You scarred him, Sayomi Dracul."

Sayomi pushes through the pain and slowly sits up. She leans forward to stop herself from falling back. Everything hurts. Physically and mentally, she is damaged. A look of solemn cross Dracul's face as she stares at the small puddle of water in front of her. Everything Karasu said was true. 'How naive I am... After all that time, I slumbered. And the happy years I've spent with Nawin... Still, I am affected by the tragedy that happened a millennium ago. I let that memory cloud my thoughts.'

"Tell me." Sayomi looks up to meet Karasu's eyes. "How is that you are alive?" "... I don't know," Sayomi shrugs "I merely woke up. It was as if I was waking from a deep dream." For as long as she knew her, Karasu has never caught Sayomi lying. Especially towards Nawin and herself. Without a word said, Himejima pushes herself up to stand. "Perhaps guilt brought you back," she softly mutters, looking down at her friend "You came to regret your decision and desperation brought you back to life. From what I learned... You Purebloods are difficult to stay dead."

A gasp of shock leaves Sayomi's lip when Karasu chumps down on her right arm, chewing the flesh out. Her nose twitches violently as the scent of blood begins circulating around the air. Pulling her face away and offering her arm forward, Karasu looks at her friend straight in the eyes. "As much as I want to kill you right now for what you did to Nawin... He also is the reason I can't bring myself to kill you. I won't be like you... I won't hurt him." "Now," Karasu takes a step forward and seizes Sayomi by the hair, forcibly pushing her mouth to the bleeding wound. "Drink it and heal."

With the hunger overbearing all her thoughts, Sayomi doesn't resist and lowers her lip around the wound to begin sucking in the fresh blood through her sore, dry throat. Karasu observes those shining blood-red eyes in thirst. She notices the injuries she inflicted the Pureblood already starts to heal at an accelerating rate. The cuts pull itself shut, the bruises fainting from existence, and the swelling gradually reduces to normal.

A full minute past for Sayomi to finally release Karasu's arm. She pants heavily, forgetting to breathe the entire time when drinking. Pulling her arm back, Karasu guides her left palm over to the deep wound and begins healing it. When the injury is healed, Karasu turns around and marches off. "Where is he?" Sayomi softly asks, staring blankly at the house "... I don't know. Yao and Jonathan took him away when I was assigned on a mission. He is lost to me." With no more words to exchange, Karasu releases her wings and takes off to the skies, leaving the Pureblood alone.

Present

Karasu's eyes remain firm at the Pureblood's gaze. "It's pointless to fight now." The Akumi member raises up to her feet and begins walking away. "This visit is for me to confirm whether you have lost your ways like you once did, Sayomi." "I'm no longer that naive and weak," the Pureblood sharply states, "Don't compare me to that person I once was." "From what I am seeing... It seems you have lost your ways." Karasu lifts her right arm and taps the air with the index finger, summoning a portal into existence. She looks back to see Sayomi gazing at her cloak before shifting to her face. "Why have you joined with the Akumi?" "To remain in the shadows," "You've always been in the shadows... You hide in it the moment you gave up on Nawin. Don't act as you have truly become a shell of your former self. I've spotted your crows still watching over Akeno Himejima."

Karasu closes her eyes and takes a step forward to the portal, but she pauses when Sayomi speaks once more with that devious tone. "Ironic, isn't it? She's going through the same thing as you, but the difference is she's too weak to push on." In a blink of an eye, hundreds of light lances form above Sayomi, all of them slowly twirling around and aims for the silver-haired woman below. Dracul remains unfazed by the hail of weapons. "You caused her that pain" "Far from it. I merely sped up the inevitable. I rather she be in pain than Nawin... Wouldn't you agree?"

Karasu does not spare a response and steps into the portal, shutting it soon after. The hail of lances pauses then proceeds to fall towards Sayomi. However, with one glance at the weapons, Dracul destroys all of them with ease, reducing them to a harmless rain of glistering specks that soon vanish from existence. "... You better remain alive through all of this, Karasu. For him."

Kuoh

Elegant and melodic music can be heard in Akame's bedroom. Seated on the nightstand is a beautiful wooden crafted music box. It has been winded, and the cylinder continues to move at a steady pace to produce that soothing sound. Laid on the bed next to the music box is Nawin Makasha, wide awake and staring at the ruby brooch held above him in his right hand. Whenever he felt truly down, Nawin would always bring out that music box that Irina gifted him. It plays such a soothing and light-hearted melody that it'd lift his mood even if it is only a bit.

Bringing the jewelry down, Nawin sets it on his lip as he stares calmly at the blank, white ceiling. Even though when looking at the brooch reminds him of Sayomi. Nawin can't help but think back to that Akumi member that appeared before him last night. The woman that holds a striking similarity to Akeno in appearance-wise. Thinking about that mystery woman annoys a part of Nawin's brain. He has never seen her before, but at the same time, he holds this little drive within him of wanting to get to know her. 'Just what is she to Akeno?'

"Nawin-kun." Akame steps into the room and stares at her King in bed. She wears a white apron and has her hair tie in a simple ponytail, something she likes to do when cooking. "Lunch's ready." "Right," Nawin teleports the brooch and music box back to the pocket dimension before slowly sits up, giving his Knight a warm smile. "Thanks for looking after me, Akame. Again, sorry for oversleeping" "It's fine. You were really exhausted, so I was not surprised you woke up near mid-day."

Entering the dining area, Nawin takes notice of the delicious smelling teriyaki chicken dish set on each side of the table with white rice and miso soup. "Looks great." Akame smiles at the compliment and unties the apron, placing it on the counter while Nawin takes a seat. She soon joins him after untying her hair. Both say thanks for the food and begin digging in. Taking some rice into her mouth, Akame chews on it moderately then steals a glance over to Nawin, more specifically at his eyes. Ever since yesterday, when he appeared before them. The color of his iris has remained red. Something that'll only happen if he is in a severe battle. And today something else has changed. His pupils have shaped into a slit, matching that of a dragon.

"Nawin-kun," "Hmm," Makasha hums in acknowledgment, stuffing his mouth with rice. Akame's lip twitches up from the sight, happy to see her King enjoying her food. "Your eyes... It has changed." That causes Nawin to pause, he places the bowl down and silently swallows. "Yeah," he comments with a faint smile. "It has been like that since Ophis gave me some of her powers. I can't turn it back. I tried." "Are you hurt?" "No. I do feel different, though," "How?" "I feel there's this surge of power within me that's waiting to be unleashed," Nawin brings his right hand up, staring at it "I feel more powerful, but I'm honestly a bit scared to tap into that power... I may lose control. I felt like this since waking up today."

Akame examines her King's eyes. Even though they look different. That warmth is still present. The warmth she along with Misako and others are so fond of. "But don't worry," Nawin speaks, snapping Akame out of her thoughts and sees that reassuring smile wore his face "I won't let it take over my body anymore." "I know you won't lose control, Nawin-kun. Not anymore" Akame state, showing her support when seeing that conviction burning in those red orbs. With that matter sorted, the King and Knight resume finishing up their lunch.

Done with the food, Akame planned to do the dishes, but Nawin insists him to do it. At first, wanting to decline, Akame paused when seeing that look in her King's eyes. So, with that, she instead focuses on drying the wet dishes with a cloth while Nawin cleans them. Both of them enjoy the pleasant silence as they are doing their task. This moment was so very normal for them that it has the pair forgetting about everything in the supernatural world for several minutes. But, as much as Nawin enjoys it, there was something he wanted to discuss with his Knight.

"Akame," Makasha speaks, passing another plate to his Knight's hand "Yes?" "I know this must be plaguing your mind, but... With now knowing, Kurome is alive and in the Akumi. What will you do with her?" Akame's hands freeze, and her eyes grow stoic, staring at the plate that's reflecting her face. "I... I want to save her. She's being taken advantage of, Nawin-kun." "I see. Then I want to make a promise to you." Akame's eyes widen, and she shifts to Nawin, seeing him looking at her with those gentle eyes. "P-Promise?" "Yes. I promise you that when the time comes... I'll do whatever it takes to help you rescue Kurome. I swear in my life that when everything is over... When all of us can leave in peace without fear. You and Kurome will once again be a family."

Dropping the plate to the sink, Akame's bites her lip as a single teardrop falls from her eyes, her shoulders shaking ever slightly. She tries to remain composed, but her stoic expression breaks as more tears begin falling. Nawin turns around and pulls Akame into an embrace, one she gladly returns. "You don't need to hide your worries, Akame" "Y-yes." The Knights nod, gripping tightly onto Makasha's arms. Even though she tried to suppress it, her worries for Kurome were strong after reuniting with her last night. To get such a promise from Nawin brings significant relief to her. An enormous and unbearable weight is lifted off her chest.

Hyoudou Household

"She's still not back..." Shutting the front door, Issei walks toward the living room and set some grocery bags down on the dining table. He looks at the empty room with solemn and worries. Rias did not return home last night. Issei expected her to be back after being awoken this morning, but he was disappointed to find himself alone in that cold bed. Even now that it turned mid-day, his lover still is away. "Shit!" In a burst of anger, Issei grabs a chair and flings it across the room. The chair smashes into the hall and breaks into several pieces. Dropping to the couch, Issei exhales heavily and grabs his head with one hand, clenching the hair. "I can't take this anymore! Just what is going on here?! Where are you, Nawin?!"

'Partner, calm down,' Ddraig speaks up when noticing Hyoudou's mana start rising. 'How can I calm down?!' Issei retorts loudly. 'Everything is so messed up! Nawin's missing, Rias's gone to search for him! Akeno is crushed and still hiding away in her room! Everything is just... Fucked!' '...' Ddraig doesn't have a reply. His Partner has all the rights to be upset in his current position. Taking a deep exhale, Issei slowly looks up, and his eyes stop at a picture frame set next to the television. It's a special photo to Hoyoudou as it is the only one that has him and Nawin together. The photo was taken at Nawin's birthday. It shows both of them standing by the window, Issei has his right arm wrapped around Nawin's neck to pull him in, his left hand raised up to give a peace sign. Makasha, too had one arm giving the same sign while the other hand is holding the photo Issei had given to him as a present. Both of them are grinning brightly at the camera.

Looking at that photo just makes Hyoudou feel worse. 'How can thing turn so bad in such a short time...' He stares at Nawin's grinning face in the photo. A knock comes from the front door draws Issei's attention. "You can come in!" he shouts, not wanting to bother getting up. "Getting lazy there," that unmistakable sharp and strict tone enter is heard when the door is opened. Issei looks at the hallway and sees Kokoro stepping into the living room. Her orange orbs instantly examine the broken chair on the right, laid there at the corner of the room. Seeing this makes Kokoro drop her stern persona, her eyes soften as it turns back to Issei. "Isse-" "Rias's gone," he cuts in, looking down at the floor with mix expression. "She's out there searching for Nawin... Everything has gone to hell, Kokoro. I want to do something, but what can I do? I don't even know where to begin to fix this."

"You know..." Issei finally looks up to his Queen. "I had a dream last night... It was just Nawin and me. However, instead of us stood side by side... We stood across from one another. Like we were enemies." Kokoro can see that dream has really put her King at an unease mindset, and she can understand why. One of the things Issei wish is to stand side by side with Nawin in terms of power. He wants to be equal to the person that he admired and see as a brother. To see an image that confers them to be enemies is not just a dream but a nightmare for Issei.

Walking towards him, Kokoro takes a seat beside her King. "You know I usually always have answers to your problem. That be during our training or for your average daily life. Sadly," she sighs and turns to face Issei. "I don't really have a solid answer that'll help you right now." Hyoudou's response is a sad smile. "I know... And it's ok, Kokoro." Issei's eyes shift back to the photo of him and Nawin. "I want to be out there searching for him, but I don't even know where to begin..." "Why don't you try looking for Rias?" "I tried calling her but her phone is switched off. She's hiding her presence right now like Nawin. My guess is she doesn't want others to get worried if they start noticing her going to places" "What will you do then?" "... I don't know."

Vesarima

"Rias..." Venelana softly calls out to her daughter, grabbing her shoulder then gives a gentle shake. It took a few tries before those hazy turquoise eyes finally open. Blinding a few times, Rias finally sits up while pushing the exquisite looking crimson blanket down to give some air to her body as she feels quite warm. Venelana stands straight and raises an eyebrow when noticing her daughter is fully dressed in casual clothes. 'Strange... She's either naked or wears a nightgown to bed.'

"Did you arrive here late last night?" Venelana questions her daughter. Rias being here is a surprise to her considering she only found out by sensing her mana when she awoke this morning. There was no announcement of her arrival as usual. It seems her daughter sneaked back home late last night and passed out in her own bed. "Yeah," Rias rubs her eyes with both fists then lets out a cute yawn before directing her full attention to her Mother. "Had a fight with Issei?" Venelana inquires, "No," Rias shakes her head, not surprised her Mother would think of that considering her abrupt return to home. "I had a long day yesterday... I was in Vesarima when it was getting late, so instead of fussing around to teleport back to the human world, I decided to rest here."

Seeing that conflictive look on her daughter's eyes has Venelana takes a seat on the bed beside her. "Tell me, dear." She offers that gentle smile of hers. "What's wrong?" "It's about Nawin, Mom," Rias speaks, looking through a window in her room and notices it's mid-day. "Many things have happened but to give you a quick picture of everything. Nawin broke up with Akeno, and ever since then, he hasn't been the same... It wasn't long after he disappeared. Issei, Lucy, and others have been getting more worried as the days go by. Two days ago, I decided to go searching for him, and still, I haven't found any solid lead."

"Those two broke up..." Venelana whispers with a hint of sadness in her tone, "That's unfortunate. I thought they made a great pair." "Yeah..." Rias grimly nod. "It seemed they had a bad fight. Akeno hasn't told me anything about it as she is devastated and has locked herself in her room. It's been near a week, and she's still the same. It's one of the reasons I need to see Nawin. Only he can help her." "Are you sure it's wise to go chasing after him, dear?" Venelana inserts, "A breakup is painful for both sides. Even if Nawin was the one to call for the separation." "No, Mom..."

Rias shakes her head, her hands clutching the blanket tightly as she thinks back on what she learned yesterday when visiting the Gray Lotus. 'Sayomi... She has to somehow be behind this. Has she taken advantage of Nawin?' Even at first, Rias gave the Pureblood the benefit of the doubt, that mindset is starting to wane. As much as that picture of them that showed Nawin displaying such genuine happiness resurface in her mind. She can't help but feel there's more stuff brewing behind the picture. 'Their relationship is such an enigmatic one now after Vamhaven...' Rias mentally cuss 'Is she the reason Nawin is still staying hidden? And why is Miraya, a human, involved in all of this? Why is Nawin letting her?!' Questions after questions come up that makes Rias audibly groan and shakes her head to suppress them before she suffers a migraine.

"Rias," Venelana calls out to gain the crimson-haired girl's attention. "Sorry, Mom," Rias exhales a soft sigh, massaging her forehead with on hand. "I believe it's more than that... Nawin is not in a good place right now. I... I'm worried he may be taken advantage of. That's why I want to find him. To make sure he's ok." Venelana nods and gives a soft smile, "You really care for him, hmm?" "Of course," Rias finally is able to muster a smile of her own "Nawin is family to me. I love him dearly." Rias looks out at the window once more. Staring at the purple skies. "After lunch, I want to continue searching... He'll show up at some point, plus Matsu is still out there scouring for him."

Kuoh

"You are going out?" Akame asks, stepping into the hallway to watch Nawin putting his boots on. "Yeah," he looks up and smirks "I'll go crazy if I just stay indoors all day, Akame. Gonna fetch some fresh air for a bit." Soundlessly nod, the Knight watch her King stands up, dressed in a casual attire that consists of a gray long-sleeve shirt, black jeans that are held up with a striking red belt, and his standard combat black boots with red soles. Opening the door, Nawin lifts his right hand up and swipe it across his face to place an illusion over his eyes. Now they display those normal brown orbs. Nawin glance over to his Knight with a faint smile, giving a small wave. "See you later," "Ok."

With hands in his pockets, Nawin walks down the slightly populated street. Cars are driving through the road while people past by him. All of it was a blur for Nawin as his mind is focus on other things. He simply let his body guide him. 'I wonder how's Asia doing...' A small frown plays on Makasha's face. Even though he has remained hidden, Nawin still tries to check in on his young sister. Before heading to bed last night, he decided to get into contact with her through the rings but received no answer. 'It's been almost two days now... Sayomi said she would need rest, but I didn't expect it'll take days.' Nawin stops for a moment when seeing the lights turn red to let cars drive through. 'Perhaps with her being trapped in that curse for so long, the body would take a while to recuperate... Asia was never really the same after she lost her sight. She has weakened.' When the light turns green, Nawin resumes walking. 'I need to see her one more time before departing.' He acknowledges it won't be long until one of Ophis's underling comes for him.

That thought have Nawin come to a stop. He looks up at the gloomy and cloudy sky. The temperature today has taken quite the drop and is getting chilly, being that autumn time of year for Kuoh. The expression of his face is one of melancholy. 'That's right... It's starting to really sink in.' Nawin takes in the scene around him. The familiar building, he would walk past on a daily basis, the streets that he knows at the back of his mind. 'I won't be back here for a long time when I go to Ophis...'

Suddenly, Nawin feels something on his cheek. Almost as if someone just randomly poked him. Snapping out of his thoughts, Nawin looks to the right and lets out an audible gasp. "Ehehe," Irina grins brightly, tilting her head while looking fondly at the black-haired boy. "It's been a while, Nawin-kun." Blinking a few times to confirm that he is really seeing the Angel, Makasha finally opens his mouth to slowly utter her name, "Irina..."

Shidou's grin widens and retracts her arm before taking a step back. She is currently dressed in a casual manner that also fits with the chillier weather of today. Her attire consisted of a long-sleeve gray color cotton sweater blouse with a light purple hoodie worn over it. For the bottom, she wears tight black jeans with a gray color suede boot. Yet the most striking thing with Irina's appearance for Makasha is that instead of the usual twin ponytail she would go with, this time Irina left her hair free, letting it flow down. With that hairstyle and that beaming grin on her face, for a moment, just a split second, the image of Miraya appears over Shidou that causes Nawin's heart to skip a beat.

"Seems like luck is on my side," Irina happily comment. "I wanted to meet up with you. However, you have been concealing yourself, Nawin-kun." A sad smile now plastered on Shidou's face. "Xenovia has informed me that things have been rough here for you recently. I was distraught." Mustering a gentle smile, Nawin opens his mouth to speak. "Things have settled down a bit for me. Though seeing you again has brightened my day considerably." Irina blushes a bit but grins none the less "Then I'm gladder that we bumped into each other." For a moment, the pair stare at each other in silence. "Well," Nawin speaks, "How about we go find a cafe and catch up," "Sounds lovely."

It did not take long for the two to find a comfy cafe that takes them away from the chilly weather. Irina and Nawin took a seat at one of the more private tables that's away from others, giving some privacy. "I'm glad to see you are doing good," Nawin speaks after they ordered their drinks. "Back at the Birthday, you had a critical mission assigned to you." "Yeah," Irina's smile falters slightly, which Makasha takes immediate notice. "Did it not go well?" Nawin asks the girl seated across of him, his eyes show concern. "No, the mission was a success. But... It was a search assignment. Do you remember I informed you about Dulio Gesualdo's disappearance?" "The Strongest Exorcist, yes. That's months ago..." Nawin's eyes narrow, "Have you found his whereabouts?" "Yes... However," Irina lets out a shaky exhale. "I followed the trail, and it led me to his corpse. He's been murdered." "... Irina," Nawin whispers in shock then reaches over to grasps both of the girl's hands into his, giving a soft squeeze. He can see Dulio's death affects Shidou. "I'm sorry."

Irina refuses to cry once more and looks up to give a weak smile while holding onto Makasha's warm hands firmly. "He was such a kind and carefree person, Nawin-kun. I don't know if I've told you this, but my choice to become an Angel wasn't exactly met with opened arms in Heaven, because many thoughts I wasn't worthy. They thought I was weak because of how badly I performed with Kokabiel. But, Lord Dulio spoke out for me, and he said that I will one day be a great asset to the Angels." Irina chuckles at a memory "After shocking everyone with that, he turned to me and gives a thumbs up... Like Lord Michael and Lady Gabriel, Lord Dulio believed in me."

"... Ah," Irina shakes her head then offers an apologetic smile "I'm sorry for bringing the mood down in such a rush, Nawin-kun." "Don't be," Makasha wears a warm smile "I'm thankful you told me this, Irina. Never let things bottled up. Even though I see you have come to terms with his death... It doesn't mean it's any easier for you. Dulio sounds like a great person. Someone who should not have to leave this world so soon." Irina nods and composes herself. She needed that release. Irina hasn't even told Xenovia this, not wanting to ruin her best friend's mood. Xenovia is always delighted when she'd pay her a visit, so hurting that moment would've made Irina feel incredibly guilty. But it is different when it comes to Nawin. Irina always feels so open towards him. She can tell him her darkest secret and never feel like she'll regret it. When Shidou is with him, all she feels is warmth and peace. And she knows Nawin will always lend his ears to her problem. And she would do the same for him.

Still holding onto Shidou's hands. Nawin looks at those violet eyes. "Do you know who's responsible?" "Yes..." Irina slowly nods, "When we recovered his body, we found a bloody note. Poorly written in blood and very short... Only one word, in fact. Lord Dulio must have been severely injured when writing it" "... What was written?" "Akumi." The calm expression on Makasha's face shatters and replaces with shock when hearing that name. Yesterday's event floods back to him like a violent wave. 'But why, Dulio?' Nawin thinks for a moment before his eyes snap wide and turn back to Irina. "Didn't you once told me Dulio possess a Longinus?" "Yes," Irina nods, "The Zenith Tempest... Said to be the second strongest Longinus ever created. Lord Azazel's assumption of them attempting to hunt down Longinus holders are correct." 'They were able to defeat someone like him?!' This reminds Nawin of just how underpowered he is currently; he is nowhere strong enough to even stand a chance to defeat a member of the Akumi.

"Do you know who was responsible?" Nawin asks, "Akumi usually travel in pairs, so there must be some sighting of them." "There have been some onlookers that informed our scouts that they have spot people wearing a black cloak with red roses. The area where I found Lord Dulio's corpse was close to a small village. I went there to see if they had any information, and the elder of the town told me he caught a fleeting glance at two people wearing those cloaks. And he swore he saw a striking white hair flowing out from the hood from one of the members. "Urgh!" Nawin's gasps as an image of Kitomi resurface in his mind. 'And...' He thinks of Kitomi's partner, that enigmatic brown-haired woman that's been on his mind since he was woken up. "Yeah," Irina speaks when seeing her friend's expression, "I think it is those two as well. The ones that tried to kidnapped Issei in the past."

For a moment, silence falls as Nawin is in deep thought. 'To think those two can take on someone like Dulio and defeat him...' 'You are weak. Too weak to protect yourself and anyone that you care for, Nawin' Ophis's words run through his mind. Nawin looks down at the ring in his index finger. 'I can't protect Lucy, I can't protect Issei... I can't protect anyone. If the Akumi makes their move tomorrow... I would be utterly useless.' "Nawin-kun?" Irina's soft voice snaps Makasha out of his thoughts, and he looks up to see that worry expression. "Sorry about that, Irina," he replies, "Just deep in thought." Sensing how gray the mood has become, Nawin begins to feel guilty. Usually, when he and Irina would converse, they won't bring up about the supernatural world's topic often. And it was something Nawin enjoys when he is with Irina. He felt normal with her. Now here he is, the first thing he decided to talk about with her after not seeing each other so long is something about the supernatural world. Nawin mentally curses himself at this. And this guilt only worsens when he knows in his heart. This may be the last time he will see Irina in a long time.

"Hey, Irina" Nawin starts with a soothing whisper, firmly squeeze her hands then looks up, carrying a warm smile, "Yes?" "Do you remember the conversation we had by the front porch that night at my birthday party?" Irina's eyes slowly widen. A memory replays in her head. 'Well, Irina' Nawin looks at her with a bright grin. 'If you can't celebrate your birthday, then I will do something special when we meet again.' A fond smile form on her face as she nods. "Yes." "Want to go on a date with me?" Nawin asks, "No more supernatural world subject. Only regular fun. Just the two of us like I promised." For a moment, Irina's whole world freeze. Her mouth is slightly agape. Those words were what she always wanted to hear from Nawin. It almost felt like a dream. But, when still feeling Nawin's warm hands holding hers, she knows it's real. That moment, all Irina sees is the man in front of her that has all her affection and respect. A man she unconditional loved even when he was in a relationship with another party. With a big smile on her face, the biggest one she has worn in a long while, Irina nods. "I would love that."

Ichiru Bakery

"Rias-san wanted to talk to me?" Misako repeats, "Yes," Moka nods. "It seems like she had something important she wanted to discuss with you. You should give her a call" "... Yeah." Currently, the pair of Daughter and Mother are making some doughs for the evening customers. Misako's expression shows conflict with this new information. 'It must be about Nawin-kun...' Ichiru knows that her King wants to remain anonymous 'Sorry, Rias-san.' Mentally apologizing to her crimson-haired friend, Misako chooses not to do anything. She is terrible when it comes to lying, so to her, it would be best for her to simply remain silent.

"There we go," Moka beams after putting the fresh tray of buns into the oven to begin baking them. Releasing a pleasing sign, Moka turns to her Daughter. "Thanks for the help, Misako" "Not a problem, Mom." Blinking for a moment, Moka walks forward then suddenly playfully flicks Misako on the forward, getting an adorable yelp as a response. The Mother grins, "Best head upstairs, dear. Your face is covered with powder." The young Ichiru grips her forehead then cutely pout before smiling. "Alright. I'll be back down in a moment," "Mhm-hmm."

Walking up the stairs, Misako stops for a second to look toward the half-opened curtains to see her Father stationed at the front of the store, tending to some customers, helping them choose which breads they wanted. However, watching her Father's grinning face and laughing with the customers when delivering one of his quick-witted jokes, the smile on Misako's face wane ever slightly in sadness before she resumes up the stairs to the second floor.

Shutting the door and switching the lights on in the bathroom, Misako turns the tap open to let the water flow. Bringing both hands into the sink to collect the water, Misako splashes it on her face to wash away the powder. Doing it a couple of times to get all of it out, Ichiru finally looks up at the mirror. "Uh..." Her lip begins to quiver as she brings the right hand to her cheek, feeling a single teardrop trickling down her eyes. "Urgh..." Weeping in silence, Misako is unable to hold the tears back and simply let them flow down. Holding the sink with her shaking arms, she cries her heart out.

There's no regret in her heart when she thinks of leaving with Nawin, going with the person she loves so dearly. But that still can't soothe her heart of the pain of leaving her beloved parents. The two people that's been there for her since the very beginning, brightening up her gray life for so long. They took care of her through all the time she fell ill without voicing a single complaint. They showered her with love whenever she felt down. They're always there for her when she needs them. Knowing she will have to leave them, hurts more than words could describe. She'll miss it all. Her Mother's caring and warm nature. Her Father's silly but endearing antics.

'Oh, you poor child... Having to choose between a man you love with all your heart or your cherished parents.' Misako snaps her glossy eyes open when hearing a voice in her mind. She gasps when finding herself standing in a world of light. Frantically wiping the tears from her eyes to get a clear vision, Misako looks around but sees nothing but a sea of white. "Over here, Child." Once again, that deep, feminine voice speaks, and Misako swiftly turns around. Her lip lets out a shocking gasp.

Stood in front of her is an incredibly beautiful and tall woman who stands easily two feet over Misako. She has a pale-skin complexion with delicate facial features. What's most striking about her is her extremely long hair. Her hair holds the same shade of pink like Misako's and is styled wildly, but what's most weird about it is that it's entirely solid and sparkling, similar to a crystal. Her eyes are also striking, the iris holding a shade of radish-pink while the pupils possess a shape identical to a cross that's shining brightly in white. She is dressed in a clean white and pink high-collared hime-kimono that conceals all of her body, excluding her hands and head.

Misako looks at the unique woman with shock and quickly takes steps back in caution. However, she stops when a warm and almost motherly smile spread across the tall woman's face. "You don't need to fear me, Child." Hearing those words uttered with such a kind tone has Misako lower her guard, her shoulders ease slightly. "... W-who are you?" "Ehehe," the woman chuckles. "Can't you tell? I'm your Sacred Gear, Child."

"M-My Sacred Gear?" Misako whispers, her guard entirely drop due to shock. The woman smiles and nods in confirmation. "That's correct. I'm overjoyed that we're able finally to meet face to face, Misako." "W-what's," Ichiru stutters, not really knowing what to say in this kind of situation. Nawin never told her what to do if she were to meet her Sacred Gear one day. "What's your name?" The tall woman giggles in amusement and tilts her head "Come now, Child. You should know it... Close your eyes and focus, search within your heart, and you'll hear it." Instead of questioning further, Misako did as the woman suggested. Closing her eyes and concentrating, she digs deep down to her heart to hear anything.

A few minutes of silence past, and the woman grins when seeing her user's concentrated expression morph to one of shock. Opening her eyes, Ichiru looks ahead and slowly opens her mouth. "Calamitous Luminous..." "That's right, Child." The Sacred Gear claps her hands once in satisfaction and nods, "That's the name of your Sacred Gear. Although I do have my own name as, unlike other Sacred Gears. Yours have a powerful spirit sealed within it. That being me," "Spirit... Is it rare?" "Quite. Beside Longinus Class. Most Sacred Gear in the lower tier is plain weapons created by God. Though some are very special like yours, that holds more potential within them. Spirit can get stronger if their user gets stronger. Thus, Calamitous Luminous possess more potential than other Sacred Gears." "I see," Misako taps her index fingers together, a cute gesture that has the older woman smile, "T-then, what's your name?" "I go by Chrysta, Child."

"Though," Chrysta takes a seat on the ground, and Misako is surprised when that beautiful hair quickly turns smooth the moment it touches the surface. Now it flows on the ground like a luscious and sparkling pink ocean. "There's a more important matter I want to discuss with you, Child. Please," Chrysta gives a comforting smile then taps the space next to her "Take a seat. There's no need to feel intimidated." With a moment of hesitation, Misako looks at the tall woman, examining that genuine smile. She gives a small nod then walks forward, taking a seat a couple foot away to keep a respectable space.

"It seems you're in a difficult position, Child." Misako slides her legs up to her chest, wrapping her arms around them. She glances over to the woman. "You know everything?" "Yes. Yesterday during your battle with those mercenaries, you awakened your Sacred Gear. Which means I awoke from my slumber. I witnessed everything inside here." Giving a small nod, Misako shifts her eyes shift ahead to stare at the endless space of light. "It hurts..." she softly utters. "When I was baking with Mom, then seeing my Dad with his usual antics... I realized I won't be able to be part of that anymore. I won't be able to see them, for I don't know how long." "Even when coming to this realization... You have no regret do you, Child?" "No," Misako slowly shakes her head "I made my decision... I want to be by Nawin-kun's side. Be there with him. Be there for him. Because even though leaving my parents pains me... The thought of me remaining here and watching Nawin leave hurts more."

Chrysta smile warmly. "You really love this Nawin Makasha," "He was the first friend I ever had. He's done so much for me that I can never repay him. I can't imagine my life without him," Misako reply as her eyes shift down to the black ring worn around the right index finger. The same position that Nawin wears his. "Misako," Chrysta calls out, using her name that immediately catches her attention. She looks over and is greeted with that supportive smile. 'She really is kind...' Ichiru mutters in her head, never expecting a Sacred Gear to exude such a comforting and warm air. "Your mind is set on a decision. So, I believe the best way to ease this pain within your hurt is to inform your parents of your decision" "Huh?!" Misako's expression shifts to a look of shock, "You were planning on leaving without telling them, no?" "Y-yeah," "That's not wise, Child. Doesn't that make you feel like you are simply running away?" "... Yes," "Mhm-hmm. It will do you good if you talk to them. It will hurt less if you get their support, wouldn't it?" "It would b-but what happened if they don't support my decision?" "If they feel that you truly want to walk down this path. I believe they'll see it your way, Child. I've caught glimpses of your life when slumbering. I see your parents care very deeply for you. The last thing they want is for you to feel miserable. Just be truthful to them, and I believe everything will be fine."

For a moment, Ichiru remains silent, digesting Chrysta's words carefully. Then, a small smile spread across her face. She turns to the beautiful woman. "You are right, Chrysta-san. Thank you so much," "There's no need to thank me." Chrysta gives a bright grin "I couldn't stand seeing you so sad and conflicted like that, Misako. You are a bright and cheerful girl that should always have a smile on her face. That's what I like about you" "Ehehe," Misako chuckles sheepishly at the compliment, her smile changes to a grin, matching that of Chrysta's. "Now." Planting her right hand gently on Misako's head in a show of support, Chrysta looks at her user's eyes. "Head out there and talk to your parents, Misako" "Right!"

Opening her eyes, Misako finds herself back in the bathroom. She stares at the mirror and proceeds to wipe away the remaining tears on her face. Turning the still running tap off, Misako exits the bathroom only to come face to face with her Mother. "Misako..." Moka whispers, instantly concern when seeing her Daughter's eyes are slightly red, showing signs of crying. "What's wrong, dear?" she asks, cupping the young girl's cheek. Misako musters a smile, "Don't worry, Mom. C-Can you do me a favor and fetch Dad?" "Why?" Moksa asks while blinking, "There's something important I want to discuss with the both of you" "... Alright. Head to the living room while I go get him" "Ok."

"What's going on, sweetheart?" Akira asks with worry tone, taking a seat at the kotatsu table and looking across to his Daughter. Moka silently slides the door shuts and sits down beside her Husband. The air in the room grows a bit tense. Misako fumbles her thumbs together as she tries to think of the best way to start this conversation. Opening her mouth, Misako decides to start off with explaining everything that Nawin told her during his encounter with Ophis. That all the way to him deciding to take Ophis's offer and planning on leaving, becoming a rogue.

"Is that boy out of his mind?!" Misako flinches by her Father's sudden outburst as one of his hands slam down on the table, rocking it "He's planning on going with a ruthless being such as Ophis?!" While her Husband explodes with this new fact, Moka, on the other hand, remains firmly gazing at her Daughter. She knows there's more. "Misako, there's something else you want to add?" "I-I'm... Akame-chan said she will follow Nawin-kun down this path... And I will too." Silence falls in the room; Akira's brown eyes stretch to its maximum as he stares at his Daughter with his mouth agape. Moka's expression is no different.

"No..." Those words are whispered out of Akira's mouth, the front bangs hovering over his eyes. "B-" "NO!" Before Misako can even utter a single word, Akira cuts it with a deafening response. "That boy can go down this stupid path of his, but he isn't dragging you with him!" Akira shouts and looks up at Misako with fire in his eyes "I ain't allowing him to take you away from us like this! Making you walk down such a dangerous path!" "I am going..." Akira and Moka are left speechless by Misako's calm and sharp retort. Her expression composed. The reply needn't be loud because of the conviction in those words were evident.

"Misako," Akira raises his voice, his anger return, and he hates to be directing it to his precious Daughter. "Dad," Misako cuts in and gives a soft smile "I am going with him... When I imagine saying goodbye to him, watching him go away..." Ichiru brings her right hand up and grips her chest, her expression saddens "I-It hurts my heart so much. I want to follow him, Dad. I can't live with myself otherwise," "Misako..." Moka gently inserts herself in the conversation, "Are you fully aware of what Nawin is planning to do? He's planning on defecting from Rias's peerage and becoming a rogue. With his high profile, he'll be hunted by vicious and merciless bounty hunters. He will be branded by Vesarima as a traitor, and I highly doubt that even his close relationship with Sirzech can change that... Tell me, Misako," Moka's tone grows sharp like a blade as she looks straight into her Daughter's eyes "What's stopping me right now from leaving this house and going to see Yao and tell her about this. The moment she is informed of this, she'll hunt Nawin down and barred him in their house, keeping her eyes on him until he changes his mind on walking down such a path."

Misako shifts her eyes down to her hands that are clenched together and resting on the table. 'I need to get stronger... I refuse to stand around doing little while Sayomi is out there in constant danger and working hard for my safety. I just can't revert back to the way things were with this knowledge, Misako, Akame. I just can't.' Words from yesterday uttered by Nawin resurface, 'I believe doing this will do good for the others. Issei, Rias... Akeno and the rest will benefit from me leaving.' 'It will give them the motivation to become stronger. Me leaving will deeply affect them, I am aware of that. However, it will drive them to train harder and push themselves to new heights. Right now, what they lack is a true goal. If I have to become a goal for them to desperately follow, then so be it.'

"Because," Misako peers up at her parents, "I believe in Nawin-kun... I believe with all my heart that he is walking down this path because he knows it's for the best. He isn't doing this just for himself... He's doing this for everyone. H-He is willing to carry such a heavy and terrible burden to protect his friends. Nawin-kun may be walking down a gray path... A path between light and dark, but I know his heart will always remain gold, filled with kindness and warmth." When seeing their Daughter in tears, Akira's and Moka's expressions soften. They can hear all those words that left Misako's mouth are genuine. Spoken from her heart.

Both Akira and Moka are aware of the impossible position that Nawin is in. Either he goes with Ophis, or she destroys Kuoh. And in truth, no one here can genuinely stop that Diety from doing such things. The person that stands the best chance to drive out that Dragon God is Yao, however even she will be weakened from years of rust like them. Nawin was truly in Ophis's mercy.

"Misako," Akira speaks, releasing his head to look up. "I respect Nawin, and I know he will protect you from any threat. Nevertheless, I still won't allow you to go with him, and that's the final verdict on this matter." "Then I'm sorry, Dad," Misako swiftly inserts. "But this will be the first time I will have to disobey you... I'm following Nawin-kun. With or without your consent." Akira is again left stunned by his Daughter's response. Her words were true, she never once disobeyed him or Moka. Even though they were by no means strict parents, Misako still follow their guidance without complaints and take their advice to heart.

"... Akira," Moka whispers out to get her Husband's attention "She has made up her mind. I say, let her do what she wishes," "What?!" Akira explodes once more, "You are kidding right, Moka?! That's our baby girl over there!" he points toward Misako, "You are going to let her walk down a path of a deserter?! The moment Nawin is branded a traitor, it will also fall upon Misako!" "It is a harsh scenario to imagine, yes... But can you honestly handle and live with yourself by forcing her to stay here and not follow the person she loves with all her heart?" "Urgh," Akira's eyes lower as his teeth openly clench together in pure turmoil. Moka looks at her Husband. "Forcing her to stay here will be beyond cruel" "Moka," Akira whispers, facing his Wife, "Misako c-could b-" "I know within my heart Nawin will protect her with his life. Akame the same. She will never be alone... You need to let our Daughter finally explore the world and spread her wings, Akira... She has been in seclusion long enough."

No words left Akira's mouth, and instead, he shuts it. Shifting his gaze to Misako, the Father can feel his eyes becoming moist. Moka was right with her words. Misako has, for so long, remain in a bedroom because of her sickness. No matter which cities they would jump to, to find a doctor that could help cure her illness, Misako would still simply spend most of her days in a bed. Secluded from the outside world because of her weak health. Then like a guardian angel descends upon the heavens, Nawin Makasha came into her life and made it better in more ways than one. Helping their Daughters so much that he and Moka can never truly repay it. And now, Misako wants to follow him. Even as he's prepared to walk down a path of uncertainty, she still wants to be by his side.

"If... If that is what you truly want to do, Misako." Akira's lip curves upwards to a smile of sadness but also encouragement, "Your Mother and I will support your decision." Getting her Father to acquiesce, Misako's lip begins quivering, and she jumps over the table to hug both her parents tightly as tears start spilling. "T-thank you! Thank you so much for saying those words!" Misako loudly sobs and feels Akira's and Moka's arms holding her. "It makes this so much easier for me! Thank you for being the best parents I could ever ask for! I love you two so much, Mom, Dad." Moka lets her own tears trickle down as she whispers, "You have grown so much, Misako. I'm so proud of you." "You'll do amazing things, Misako," Akira states, a single droplet falls from his eyes, "You are no longer frail. You will become very strong one day, I know it."

Center of Kuoh

"Umm, Nawin-kun, I believe that's too much milk..." Irina stares at the now very milky flour mix. "This... is-" Nawin stops himself from swearing and instead takes a deep breath before exhaling. To display his anger, he wears a rather scary smile while glaring at the now useless bowl in front of him. However, Irina giggles in amusement then grasp the bowl to toss the ingredients to the sink for the second time. The first mistake was Nawin forgot to add in two beaten eggs due to his nervousness. "Young man," a middle-aged woman with a stern expression stops in front of the table, staring at Nawin with strict eyes. "Perhaps it is best you give the sticky toffee pudding a miss. Clearly, it is too ha-" "No!" Nawin intercepts and begins grabbing all the beginning ingredients once more "I'm doing this right, so leave." The woman sighs and nods before moving on to the other tables to see how the other couples fair.

After deciding to take Irina on a fun date, Nawin desires it to be the best one to her cheer up. And with this perhaps being the last time they'll be able to properly spend time together; it just gave him more motivation to make this date the best it can possibly be. So, knowing Irina's love for cooking, particularly baking, which she picked up when living in England for a while. He thought it'd be a great idea to go to a baking course to cook up Irina's favorite dessert, which is a classic English sticky toffee pudding. The only problem is he is horrible when it comes to desserts.

"You sure you don't want to instead bake some nice cookies, Nawin-kun?" Irina suggests, feeling a bit bad at seeing how difficult her friend is having with the task. "Nope," Nawin firmly replies then turns to her with a smirk "I will make you the best sticky toffee pudding, Irina. Don't worry." Shidou feels her cheeks warming up, the blush becoming visible. She can't help but let out a bright grin when seeing how determined Makasha is to make her a dessert she absolutely enjoys. "Alright! I'll go fetch more milk," "Thanks."

Returning with the milk that she chose to pour in a measuring cup so Nawin won't make the same mistake. "Here's the milk. 100ml as the instruction said." "Thanks, Irina." Nawin doesn't lose the rhythm and takes the milk to pour only half of it in, while still stirring the mix in the bowl. Shidou smile as she sees Nawin is doing the correct way as he gradually pours in the milk while stirring it the ingredients firmly, steadily making it all blend into one.

Smiling in satisfaction, Nawin nods to himself then turns to his partner. "Next is to pour in the dates, right?" "Yep and stir!" Grabbing the bowl of freshly chopped Medjool dates, Makasha pours it in the main bowl and resume stirring it to make all the ingredients come together. Irina can't help but beam when seeing how fun Nawin is having. That smile on his face really brings her joy. She was honestly worried about coming here as she knows Nawin rarely cooked. And he's doing it more for her sake when he saw how excited she was on the idea. Irina is relieved that Nawin is having such a blast like her with this.

"Are all the ramekins floured, Irina?" Nawin asks, glancing over to the tray that a number of the small bowls. "Oh, right!" Irina sheepishly chuckles and grabs some flour from the bag. "There's still some that aren't done yet! I was so focused on you" "Ahaha, sorry that my mistake distracted you" "It's fine, I enjoy watching you make mistakes!" Irina teases then cutely sticks her tongue over to Makasha's direction, who lets out a light laugh in response.

"... Ok, all done!" "Great!" Nawin stops stirring and place the wooden spoon to the side, switching it with a regular spoon. Irina joins in too, and the two begin carefully scooping the batter and spoon it into the ramekins. When all five bowls are evenly filled, Nawin grabs the tray while Irina starts the oven and set it in the correct temperature. "Ok," Nawin close the door and smile at Shidou, "20 to 25 minutes, right?" "Yep! While waiting, we need to make the sauce" "Sounds good."

With a clean pan set on the stove, Nawin watch Irina pour in slices of butter before he starts stirring it, watching them slowly turn liquid. Again, Irina comes from the side and pours in the correct amount of light muscovado sugar into the pan. "Continue stirring it!" She reminds and goes to fetch the other ingredients. Nawin simply chuckles at the energetic girl and does as told. Irina returns, "225ml of double cream and should add only half for now," she whispers and adds in the ingredients. Nawin continues to stir and watch the sauce darkens. Irina carefully brings the heat down to medium. "Next is one tablespoon of treacle" Irina pours it in the now bubble sauce. "And?" "We wait for a few minutes! You can stop stirring it now, Nawin-kun" "Alright."

For a moment, the pair quietly watch the sauce continue to bubble. Irina glance over and notice Nawin has some flour on his right cheek and under his lip. "Nawin-kun," "Hmm?" Makasha turns around and is slightly taken by surprise when Irina brings up a wet towel to his face. "There's some flour on you," "Oh," Nawin smile and allows the girl to clean his face. "... There," Irina pulls the towel back and gives a toothy grin. "All better and handsome," she comments with a faint blush visible on her cheeks. Nawin chuckles before replying, "Thanks."

Returning to the task at hand, Irina places the towel down on the table and grab the jar of double cream to pour the rest into the sauce. "Stir it once more, Nawin-kun, until it blends" "Got it." Makasha grabs the wooden spoon and stirs while Irina drops to one knee to check the puddings in the oven. With the sauce done, Nawin also checks in the puddings. "A few more minutes?" "Mhm-hmm," Irina grins. "It will be done shortly."

"... Thank you." Nawin blinks and glances over to Shidou to see she's looking at him "For this." Seeing that radiant smile on Irina's face, Nawin returns with one of his own, he is relieved that things are going well so far. Irina is happy as she should always be. "Come now," Nawin chuckle and leans over to playfully bump shoulders with the girl. "It's too early to say thank you. This is just our first stop." "Ahaha, that's true. You still could take me somewhere that has the chance to ruin the entire date" "Wow," Nawin rolls his eyes. "Thanks for the vote of confidence there," "Ehehe."

With the oven ticking to notify the timer has ended, Irina passes Nawin an oven mitt to grab the hot tray. Setting the puddings on the table, Nawin discards the gloves. "Woah," he smiles, "They smell good," "Yeah!" Irina cheerfully agrees, "You done it, Nawin-kun," she examines freshly baked dessert. "Those look perfect! All we need to do now is pour the sauce over it."

While Nawin grabs the pan that holds the sauce, Irina lay down two plates then grabs two of the hot ramekins with both hands then quickly but carefully flip them over to place them perfectly on the center of the plates. Next, Nawin moves in and pours down sauce down on Irina's pudding then over his, doing it nicely to create a proper presentation. "And done!" he says after setting the pan down. Nawin grabs a fork lying on a clean cloth and passes it over to Irina. He smiles at her "You get the first taste. I did want to make it for you." Shidou blushes a bit while grabbing the fork. She gives a grin and turns to the pudding, carefully digging the fork down on it before picking up a piece. Irina opens her mouth and eats the dessert. Closing her eyes to experience the full taste. Nawin is surprised when a Shidou lets out a high-pitch moan, her eyes snap open to reveal it sparkling. "DELICIOUS!"

Before Nawin has the chance to reply, Irina already has the other piece of her pudding held right in front of his mouth. "Open wide!" she urges with a grin. Makasha blinks but none the less obliges, allowing Irina to feed him. Closing his mouth to chew the dessert, Nawin's eyes slowly widen at the rich taste exploding in his palette. "Wow," he whistles "That's tasty" "Ehehe," Irina vigorously nods "You did great, Nawin-kun! It tastes just as good as I would cook it!" "Some praise there. It can't be as good as yours, Irina" "Mhm. It is!" Irina counters, which only causes Makasha to chuckle, finding it amusement from her being so complimentary. "I see, then I knocked it out of the park in my first try... Even though I failed twice with the ingredients" "Ehehe."

The instructor of the class returns and notices Nawin's plate. She looks impressed. "I see you completed it. The end product looks great, Makasha-san" "Thanks," Nawin smiles at her then grabs a fork, handing it over. "Why don't you give it a try? Irina says it's fantastic. Though you won't hold any critics back," "I certainly won't," the woman replies with a faint smile, accepting the utensil. Gracefully eating the entire pudding, the instructor sets the fork down on the empty plate then slowly opens her eyes to look at Nawin. "For your first try, this is splendid, Makasha-san. My only gripe would be that it needs a bit more sugar. Other than that, it is perfect," "Thank you, and noted on the sugar." Turning to Irina, Nawin asks, "Ready to head out?" "Yep!" He smiles at the energetic response then returns to the instructor, giving a grateful nod. "Thanks again for allowing us to join this course in such short notice" "It's not a problem," the woman warmly smirks. "Can't turn down a cute couple like you two." Irina blushes brightly at being called a couple while Nawin simply smiles.

Untying the apron around his waist, Nawin glance over at Irina, "Want to pack the remaining pudding?" "No, it's ok." She sets her own apron on the table and looks over with a grin. "I already shared one with you, and that's more than enough." She turns to the instructor, "I would like the remaining ones to be shared with the other couples in this class. Will that be ok?" "Of course." The woman smiles at the considerate nature of the young girl. "They will certainly enjoy them." Irina set sight back to Makasha and offers her right hand, her grin grows warmer "Ready to continue our date?" "Heh," Nawin smirk and grasp Shidou's hand "I should be the one saying that."

Following taking their leave from the baking class, the pair wander around as Nawin tries to think up of an idea for their next destination. Though he pauses for a moment when noticing the sun is beginning to set, signaling the night is arriving. 'Ah...' A hint of sadness resonates in the eyes of Makasha. 'Seems like we spent a lot of time there. I can only take her to one more place before dinner.' "What do you want to do next, Irina?" Nawin asks and glances over to hear his friend's suggestion "Hmm," Irina holds her chin and thinks for a moment, "There is a place that caught my attention when I arrived here earlier today" "Oh?" Nawin tilts his head, "Where would that be." Instead of answering, Irina smile then wordlessly raises her left arm upwards and points toward the distance. Makasha follows the pointed direction to finds his sight set on the tallest skyscraper in Kuoh.

"The Sky Tower," Nawin says as his eyes light up "Is that good?" Irina nervously asks, "Actually, that's a great idea," "Really?" she perks, "Yeah," Nawin turns to her. "I only recently learned that they've been developing an observation deck on the top floor for the past year. A few days ago, I read in the news that said it is done and are opened to the public. There's even a nice international restaurant there." "So," Irina's eyes sparkle, which has Nawin laughing softly before giving the nod, he knows exactly what she has in mind. "Yep. We can check out the complete view of Kuoh then have dinner there. Sounds good?" "Sounds perfect!" Unable to contain her excitement, Irina cutely bounces on her feet like a child, then grabs Nawin's hand, dragging him toward the direction of the Sky Tower.

When seeing how excited his friend is, it brings a warm smile to Nawin's face. However, it does wane ever slightly as reality rears its ugly. 'I won't get to experience this again with her...' Nawin looks down to Irina's soft hand holding his. His grip firmly tightens around her hand. 'I'll make sure she remains happy until we part ways tonight... It's the least I can do.' 'Nawin-kun...' Sairex's soft voice appears 'You should tell her,' "What?' Nawin reply, his tone hardened. 'You'll regret it if you leave without telling her a thing. She loves you dearly, you know that. You know that for a long time. Lessen the blow by being upfront with her.' With his advice heard, Sairex cuts the link. Nawin looks up to see that beaming grin on Irina's face when she glances back at him. He returns with his own grin. Deep down, he recognizes what Sairex said is true. What's holding him back was the fear of seeing that bright face be shattered by his decision.

Hyoudou Household

"Gurgh!" Issei collapse to his knees and drop to his elbows. Sweat after sweat pours down his face and wet the grass below. His face littered in cuts and bruises. His shirt has been discarded to the side long ago as it was drenched in sweat. Stood across of his is Kokoro, who's also panting heavily but still able to stand though barely, keeping hands on her knees to remain up. "T-That's enough for today, Issei," she gasps out "N-No," Shaking his head, Issei brings the right leg up, pushing his hand on the knees to force himself to his feet. "I-I... I can keep going," "Look, I-Issei," Kokoro slowly pushes herself to stand straight, resting the right hand on her hip. "When it comes to stuff besides close combat, you have me beat... Y-You can't expect yourself to be an expert in that field at such a quick rate. You have improved significantly compared to the past. You are no longer a reckless brawler" "Still..."

"Give it a rest, will yah." Kokoro's and Issei's snap to the side, spotting Riser leaning by the house. "Look at your Queen," Issei gaze ahead and finally really take notice at Kokoro's exhausted state. She doesn't hold many injuries as him, but her fatigue is very evident. "Continue, and she'll be dropping in exhaustion. Stop being fucking selfish." Issei grits his teeth at the scathing comment from Phenex. "Riser," Kokoro speaks up, "Don't defend him," Riser cuts in, his piercing blue eyes remain on Hyoudou. "This guy has been doing nothing but train for days nonstop. He shouldn't drag others into it."

"You can't even bother to go find Rias," Riser continues. "I don't know where she is" "Don't give me that shit! You can just contact her!" "She isn't reachable!" "Then fucking go find her!" Issei frown and merely cocks his head to the right, away from Phenex and staring at the wooden fence instead. "What is the point even... She's out there looking for Nawin" "And you are here mopping" "WOULD YOU BACK OFF!" Issei explodes, glaring at Phenex. His eyes glowing in emerald. However, Riser did not back down. He marches forward then swiftly snatch Issei by the neck, lifting him off the ground and slams his back to the fence. "Riser!" Kokoro shouted and was about to interfere until Riser raises his other arm at her, flames come to life around the hand.

Riser's gaze did not leave Issei's eyes. "I can see it in your eyes," he mutters, "Fear." The glare on Hyoudou's face vanishes and replaces with shock. "You are scared, aren't you? Scared for Nawin," Riser continues. "That's why you are training so hard... You are training to protect him" "... I worry for him, alright?" Issei finally lets out, his eyes reverting to brown, and it holds much concern. "Ever since Vamhaven... When we saw what he did. I've always been worried about him. He's going through a rough time, and I fear it may change him" "You make it sound like he's weak" "Riser... If you were there with us when we last saw Nawin, you'd understand," Issei whispers "I've never seen Nawin looked so lost and weak before. Those brown eyes held so much confusion and conflict."

Riser slowly lowers Hyoudou to the ground. His expression slightly softens. "The mark" he utters and gets a nod "Nawin always changes for the worst when he uses the mark. And to be honest... I think Rias knows who gave him that mark, but she hasn't told me or any of us. Now, look at where we are" Issei stares up to the dreary sky "Rias must be worried enough to disappear like that... While all I can do is train to get stronger because I can't even begin to think where to look for Nawin. If someone as smart as Rias is struggling to find him then what can I do?" "Issei..." Kokoro whispers with sadness, now comprehending just how much her King is troubled with the situation. Riser lets go of his friend's neck and cocks his head to the side. He openly shows his frustration. But there's nothing more he can say.

Leaning against the window on the second floor, Lucy listens to the entire conversation exchanged between Issei and Riser. An expression of conflict is written on her face. She wishes she could go next door and ease their worry by telling them she met her brother not long ago. But Lucy couldn't bring herself to do it. Because even she is holding doubts now. That nightmare continues to haunt her at night. Seeing her brother being consumed by the mark and glaring at her with those venomous red orbs. She would always wake up in cold sweat when seeing that image.

'Will you come back home?' 'Soon.' For the first time in her life, Lucy doubts her brother's words. Leaning off the wall, she begins walking down the hallway and stops at the room with the door slightly open. Lucy glance in and sees Asia lying on the bed, still asleep. "She'll be fine, Lucy." The blonde blinks when the door fully opens to reveal Jonathan standing there, wearing a warm smile. "B-but," Lucy glance back to her sister "She's been asleep for two days now" "I checked her breathing pattern and her heartbeat," Jonathan state. "She's not in a comatose state or anything severe. She's is generally sleeping. I believe if you try hard enough, you can force her to wake up," "T-then, why aren't we doing that?" "Lucy," Jonathan remains ever calm and drops to one knee to look at his daughter in the eyes. He plants his hand gently on her head. "Don't forget Asia's been blind for the better part of five months. Her body has drastically changed during those times of being blind. Ever since then, she's always been physically weak."

"Although," Jonathan's smile widen. "If you look carefully, you will notice that for the past couple of days, her body is slowly gaining the weight she's lost since becoming blind." Lucy blinks and shifts to the right, her pupils narrow to look closely at her sister, and she gasps. What her dad said is true. Asia once thin figure has indeed changed. Her arms and legs noticeably hold more healthy fat in them compared to before. Asia is slowly regaining that youthful, slender figure she once held. "I-I didn't notice," "Because you were blinded with worry," Jonathan wisely state before standing back up. "She'll be awake soon, Lucy. Don't worry."

"Dad," Lucy calls out for her Father has he just took the first step down the stairs. "Yes?" he turns back to his daughter "When will Big Brother return?" "... Your Mother met him a couple of days back, Lucy," Jonathan inform, stunning the blonde "She told me he'll be home soon. So, I'm sure he'll walk through that door not long from now." With that said, Jonathan resumes down the stairs.

However, even knowing that, it still doesn't end the worry in Lucy's heart. She clenches her shirt tightly with the right hand. Her expression shows frustration and anxiety. That image again invades her mind. 'W-why can't I shake away this horrible feeling... Big Brother... Are you really ok?'

Sky Tower

"You really didn't have to pay for my ticket too, Nawin-kun," Irina asserts with a pang of noticeable guilt heard in her tone. Done getting check by security past the ticket booth, the pair are now making their way for the special lifts that are built to take the public to the highest floor. "Calm down, Irina" Nawin lets out a hearty chuckle as he presses the button to call down the elevator. He looks over to his date "It's really not a big deal" "Fine. But I'm paying for dinner" "Not happening, I'm paying that" "Grgghh!" Irina flails her arms around like a child before cutely pouts, glaring at her smirking companion, "You are doing this to spite me, aren't you?" "Am I?" Nawin gives a wink as his smirk turns coy. Irina couldn't maintain the look of annoyance and lets out a giggle at her friend's jovial nature.

With the elevator finally arrives and opening its doors, showing an empty space, Nawin and Irina swiftly enter. "Hmm," Irina eyes the floor panel "Sixty floors" "Yeah," Nawin smile and press the number sixty. The lift immediately takes action and rise up in quick speed. "Nowhere as tall as something like the Tokyo Skytree, but it doesn't really need to be." Nawin crosses his arms over his chest, leaning back on the metal handle. "Kuoh doesn't have a lot of tall constructions, so Sixty floors is more than enough to get the full view of the city" "That is true," Irina faces Nawin with a grin "I sometimes forget you used to live here, right?" "Mhm-hmm. So have you if I remember correctly," "Ehehe, yep!"

Irina joins Nawin by his side, her hands resting on the handle as she looks at the display number smoothly, counting up. "It's funny how we've never met back then. Kuoh wasn't really that big during those times. The Center Town was under heavy construction, and Old Kuoh, where we lived, was still considering the Main Town. Issei and I would go to all kinds of places to play." Irina glance over to see Nawin looking at her, she faintly smiles, "And we never once ran into you. Funny how that works" "True." Makasha glance over to the right; he looks at the LED display panel advertising shops and companies that are resided in the Sky Tower. "What was your childhood like, Irina?" "Hmm," Shidou taps her lip with the index finger, "Very ordinary. Issei was really my only friend because we lived next door to each other. Every day we'd be playing all kinds of games and cause mischief" "Huh," Nawin cracks a smirk, he can just imagine how much trouble the two of them had caused "I know what you are thinking in that head of yours, Nawin-kun" Irina points before snickering "But you are not wrong. We were loud and hyper. Issei and I just clicked when became friend" "It never blossomed to something more?" Nawin curiously asks, "No," Irina shakes her head "I see him more as a brother than a love interest." A chuckle escapes Shidou's lip, "Issei is too childish for my taste. I view him like an annoying younger brother" "Huh," Nawin shakes his head, chuckling, "I see you're point."

Learning about Irina's past. Makasha can't help but see some similarities shared his. Irina had Issei as her true only friend while he had Sayomi, who he was also in love with. However, the biggest difference between their childhoods is that his end in tragic. "Ah, we finally arrive!" Irina beams when the doors slide open, she takes Nawin's hand and starts skipping ahead, snapping him out of his dark thought.

The pair pass through the dimly lit corridor that contains several small stands for souvenir purchases and getting a professional photo taken. Not long, Nawin and Irina end up in the room where the main attraction is. A clear and stunning view of Kuoh in a 180-degree field. "Wow!" In awe, Irina releases Makasha's hand to quickly stop by the railing, looking at the brilliant sunset on the horizon. A soft smile form on Nawin's lip as he stands beside Shidou, happy to see the evident enjoyment on her face. He looks ahead and is too amazed by the sight. "Breathtaking, isn't it?" "Yeah," Irina nods, grinning brightly. "I've never really had a view like this of Kuoh," she sheepishly admits, "Whenever I visit here, I mostly stay on the ground" "Understandable," Nawin calmly replies, "You have to be careful when trying to fly in the human world. A single person spotting you can cause trouble," "Very true."

For a moment, the pair go silent and simply take in the view. The sky has already begun to darken, and the only source of light left is that fiery orange ball. The sun's light bath Kuoh, creating a soft orange hue that encompasses the city. The ray of lights would bounce off the buildings, illuminating from the windows. "You know," Nawin whispers, hands tucked inside the jean's pockets, "This may be the most beautiful view I've seen of Kuoh." Irina tilts her head, a smile of approval spread across her bright face "I was thinking the exact same thing, Nawin-kun."

"Excuse me," a young voice speaks from behind that makes the pair turn around to see a teenager smiling at them, holding a camera in hand. "Would you like to take a photo for this moment?" she kindly asks, then throws a glance at the view behind Makasha and Shidou. "It is a perfect time for an amazing shot!" Already knowing his companion's answer, Nawin smirks and brings his right arm over to wrap it around Irina's shoulders then brings her closer to him in order to fit the frame. "N-Nawin-kun!" Irina stutters in surprise as a bright blush immediately form on her cheeks, but she doesn't move away and instead shyly takes grabs hold of Makasha's hand hanging by her shoulder, bringing it down so she can comfortably hold it with both her hands. Nawin softly chuckles at the adorable action before looking forward and bears a warm grin. Seeing they are ready; the photographer brings her camera up in position then takes the photo.

Waiting a few seconds for it to process, the girl draws the camera back to examine the picture displaying on the screen, she smiles in satisfaction before looking up at the pair. "Excellent shot! Please come fetch your photo at the stand" "Will do," Nawin nods and watches the girl spin around, jogging off to the corridor.

"Hmm," Makasha hums for a few seconds when noticing Irina still has a firm hold onto his right hand. "So, wha-" As Nawin turns around to face her, he is left stun when feeling a pair of soft lip planting on his own. His eyes widen all the way, staring right at Irina's equally shock expression. He can immediately tell by those violet eyes that she was trying to kiss his cheek, but due to poor timing of him turning his head around, it landed on his lip instead. Irina swiftly let's go of his hand and back off. Her entire face burns brightly in red. "I-I a-am a-a," she cutely stumbles with words all over the place before abruptly bowing her head "I need to use the restroom!" With that loud announcement, Shidou takes off to the corridor.

Nawin stands there in place with a dumbfound expression on his face. The sound of chuckles and giggles coming from behind is apparent to Makasha, no doubt from couples and workers that find the whole event amusing. Nevertheless, Nawin shakes his head as a faint smile grow on his face. "That girl," he whispers, unable to hold the chuckle escaping from his lip as he remembers that adorably flustered expression worn on her face before she hightailed out of her.

With nothing much to do, then besides waiting for Irina to calm herself, Nawin rests his arms on the railing and calmly stare out at the view. He watches as the sun now vanishes entirely behind the border. Night has arrived in Kuoh. "I'm considerably surprised to see you participating in a date during these times, Nyawin-kun" "Ugh!" Makasha gasp when that sultry voice enters his ears. He snaps his head to the right to see Kuroka leaning her back against the railing while her elbows rest on the handle. She looks right into his face with that coy smirk. She is still dressed in that very revealing kimono's, showing much of her assets. It did not help that she has her chest push up to accentuate her bountiful breasts.

Nawin's expression sharpens; he does not move an inch and remain calm. "How did you get past the security while dressed like that?" "Very simple, nya," Koruka purs. "A little spell is all it took to sneak in here undetected." "... Of course," Nawin mutters. "So, tell me, nya," Koruka leans closer, pushing past personal space. "What are you doing messing around with Little Miss Angel there?" Nawin sneaks a glance over to the other side and notices people are utterly oblivious to the Nekoshou's existence. 'She must be concealing herself from human's eyes.' "How about you mind your own business, Koruka," Nawin reply "How about you take this seriously, Nawin," Koruka retorts, her jovial nature drops as her tone turns sharp. "Ophis provided you time to form a strong peerage, but here you are wasting it to a make a single girl happy." "I already have a couple of individuals in mind," Nawin didn't back down, his eyes clash with those hazel-gold orbs. Letting out a sigh, Koruka leans forth to stand straight. "You don't fully grasp just how arduous this path you have chosen to tread will be, Nawin Makasha," she whispers before walking off "Ophis is finished waiting. She wants you to complete your business here tomorrow. When midnight arrives, meet me at Land of Ends," "Land of Ends?" Nawin repeats, "Why there?" "Ophis's domain exists in another plane of reality. There is a passage there." 'So, like the Vampires with Transmere,' Nawin notes in mind.

"One more thing." Nawin glances back to meet eyes with Koruka. "How does it feel? Knowing you are going to abandon your beloved sisters, Nawin Makasha," "Urgh!" A sharp gasp left Nawin's mouth as his entire body goes stiff. Those words hit him deep in the heart. What's worse is that it brings up a memory of those words he uttered to Kuroka during their battle in the invasion. 'I'm a big brother to two wonderful girls... No matter what kind of situation, no matter how desperate or bleak it was to be, I would never ever abandon them.' He criticized Kuroka on her abandoning Konkeo, and now here he is, on the path of doing the same. "We don't have a choice. Now you understand, don't you?" With those words piercingly spoken, Koruka vanishes into thin air.

Kuroka's words truly hit Nawin hard, and it opens a flood of fear into his heart. Being terrified of those thoughts, he tries to turn a blind eye to because he knew it will waver him on his decision. Thoughts that his departure will truly hurt the people he cares dearly for. But it isn't just Rias, Issei, and the rest. He is wholly aware his departure will affect his young sisters and Akeno the most. Unlike his parents, they won't be able to properly coop with it. And one of the things that really hurts him is that he is leaving when Asia just got her eyesight back. After months of suffering through that and now having had her vision restored, the first thing she'll open her eyes to and see is the fact her brother has become a deserter. That fact alone makes Nawin want to collapse to his knees and weeps. For Lucy, Nawin knows just how much she would rely on him at times when she is in need of emotional support. She has always been more open to him than with their parents. When she needs help with something, he's there to lend his ears or strength without hesitation. With him disappearing from her life so suddenly, Nawin knows Lucy will be deeply hurt by it. Then there's Akeno, who Nawin fears that his departure may break her to the point where she changes. Already she is emotionally hurt, but him leaving will only push that further. Though his relationship with Himejima is in shambles at the moment, there is still a part in his heart that loves her.

With all these thoughts swarming his mind, Nawin now holds certain doubt in his heart of going to Ophis. 'Should I leave? Is this really the right thing to do? Is... Is this the correct path?' "... Nawin-kun?" Irina's concern voice snaps Makasha out of his deep thought. He faces to the right to see her looking at him with worry. "Are you ok?" "Ah, sorry, Irina." Nawin forces out a gentle smile, "Just deep in thought there for a moment," "Oh." Irina knows there's more to that as she perceived that clear troubled expression on Nawin's face before she called to him. However, she was never one to prone to one's business unless it was absolutely necessary, or they hint signs of allowing her. Also, not wanting to dampen Nawin's mood during this date, Irina decides to not push.

"Oh!" Irina's face breaks out in a bright grin, and she thrust up a thin envelope to Makasha's sight, "I picked up our photo on the way back here!" "Really?" Nawin tilts his head in curious then grab the envelope, pushing the head open to pull out the picture. Haven't seen it yet, Irina stops beside Makasha, leaning close to him to take a look. "...Wow!" Shidou shows glee at the photo in front of her. Nawin's smile becomes more genuine when seeing it. The photographer did a magnificent job capturing that moment. The beautiful orange sun shining in the background, outlining Nawin's and Irina's forms but doesn't overshadow them. Their grins are clearly seen to represent the joy on their faces. And the view of Kuoh that can be seen behind them was breathtaking. "Looks amazing," Nawin comment, "Yeah!" Irina vigorously nods in agreement, "She did a wonderful job!"

"She also sent the image to my phone," Irina informs as Nawin puts away the photo, sealing the envelope once more. "I already forward a copy to you, Nawin-kun" "Thanks. Then you can keep the hardcopy" "Are you sure?" "Yeah, I want you to hang it somewhere in your home" "It'll be one of my favorite photos on the wall!" Irina boldly but also shyly states as she takes the envelope. Nawin simply smiles at those words and nods. Even with the many doubts running through his mind, he refuses to leave Irina high and dry. He'll end this date on a high note for her. "You getting hungry?" "Yep," Irina nods before a sheepish grin form on her face "I actually just had noodles with Xenovia because that's the only thing she can cook properly." Nawin lets out a light laugh, "You must be famished then. Alright," he takes her right hand, "Let's head down to the restaurant." Irina doesn't hesitate to wrap her fingers around Makasha's warm hand; she beams, "Sounds good!"

"So," Nawin starts off with a calm smile on his face as he sits across from Irina. Fortunately, the restaurant wasn't too busy, and they were able to get a private booth for the couple. Makasha requested one so he and Irina can talk freely without needing to worry about it reaching other ears. After ordering their food, with both going for some British cuisine, Nawin wants to strike a conversation solely focus on Irina. He hates to talk about himself at the moment. "Irina, If I'm correct in Heaven, Angels are assigned to different roles, right?" "Mhm-hmm," Shidou nods. "There are lots, but the vitals ones are Watchers, Guards, Councils, Strategies, Hunters, and some others. You're Godmother, Lady Gabriel stands above the rest by being a Seraph. She is a guardian to the throne, so her main priority is to protect Lord Michael and Heaven as a whole." Nawin nods and takes a quick sip of the cold water. He sets the glass down before asking the next question, "Why did you want to become a Hunter?"

Irina beams by the question, which just make Nawin all the happier of asking it. "Well, putting aside that Lady Gabriel was once a Hunter" "Fangirl," Nawin swiftly inserts with a smirk "Hey!" Irina pouts, "Lady Gabriel is amazing" "Ahaha, I know, trust me." Chuckling lightly, Nawin gestures Irina to continue. "The main reason I wanted to become a Hunter is that that role allows me to be out in the world the most. To leave Heaven and help people." Irina's smile widens, her eyes shift away from the glass of water and to Nawin. "When a church calls for our help, Hunters like myself will respond to it. That be help for strays terrorizing somewhere in the human world or the underworld" "Do you help Devils?" Nawin asks, never really knowing the definite answer "Innocence are innocence, Nawin-kun" Irina strongly reply "Devil, Fallen Angel, doesn't matter to us. To me, at least." Makasha's smile widens at those words, "I agree with you." Irina beams and nods. Before those words do not ring with Nawin for in the past, he held distaste for Vampires because of Sayomi's early actions. But after knowing the truth about Sayomi and being at Transmere to see how kind the people of Carmilla was, Nawin hates for Vampire have vanquished long ago.

"Of course when it comes to Devils and Fallen Angels help is by chance," Irina states, "If I come across, let's say a village in Underworld that's in trouble, then I'll do my best to help them. Devils and Fallen Angels can't request help from the church as that is reserve only for humans." "So do Hunters even travel much to the Underworld?" "Not common," Irina shakes her head. "Our business is more focused on the human world. You'd be surprised how many strays roam on this earth, Nawin-kun. And let's not forget some corrupt humans can summon Devils and Fallen Angels to cause severe trouble. And," Irina sighs in dishearten "Rogue Exorcists are sadly a thing too. Hunters like myself hold the responsibility to hunt down them if one does become rogue." "How often do an Exorcists become filled with greed?" Nawin asks in pure curiosity, "Fortunately, it's uncommon. The church does well to pick individuals with a kind heart before grooming them to become one. It is much easier to become an Exorcist than an Angel."

Nawin raises an eyebrow, his cheek rests on the right hand. "I can believe that. Angels are picky when it comes to recruiting new people to their kind" "They have to be, Nawin-kun" Irina informs, taking a few salted nuts from a bowl and throws it to her mouth. She quietly chews and returns gaze to her friend. "If we begin carelessly turning people into Angels without really looking into their hearts, then we'll only set all of them to fall from grace and become a Fallen Angel" "That makes sense," Nawin utters in agreement. Irina nods. "That's why when the church would offer a powerful warrior to Heaven to become an Angel. Lord Michael would first carefully study them. Look into their heart and see if they truly possess a pure kind. Detecting if there's even a small bit of darkness lingering within. A darkness that could potentially grow and make them fall from grace." "So, he can see into one's heart?" "Yes, he was gifted by that ability from his creator, God."

Nawin hums in impress by this new fact he learns about how Angels work up there. "So, you went through that process?" "Of course," Irina chuckles. "It was quite intimidating having Lord Michael's eyes staring into mines for what felt like hours, but I did pass it." "Well," Nawin moves on. "I can see why the position of a Hunter would be ideal for you, Irina. You are always one to lend a helping hand and never really like being lazy" "Yeah," Irina soft gaze shifts at the glass of water below, watching the ice cubes slowly dissolving.

"Helping people makes me happy. When I am rewarded with those smiles after completing a task... It makes me feel like I am doing the right thing, you know?" "... I relate." Irina's eyes widen and look up to see Nawin staring at his hands resting on the table, his eyes warm and gentle. "When I take on these serious contracts that are summoned by people in a dire situation. For example, needing help with a child being kidnapped or solving the murder of a loved one. When the task at hand is completed and, more importantly, gone successful, no matter how hard it was or how many injuries I sustained while working tirelessly to accomplish it. I will never hold regrets when I am greeted with those smiles of joy and cries of relief in the end... Like you," Nawin looks up at Irina's wide eyes, his smile widens "Seeing that makes me feel like I am doing the right thing in this world."

"Nawin-kun..." Irina finds herself whispering the name as her heart skips a beat from those words. Her view of the man before her was already high, higher than most, but this just cemented him as a person she deems special in her eyes. Someone who she respects and loves unconditionally. Irina knows Nawin is a kind person. He may not show it with that stoic and quiet exterior of his, but she, without a doubt, acknowledges he has a kind and considerate heart. He always puts other's interests before his. It is one of the many things that made her draw to him.

"Here's your food!" The waitress stops by the table with a tray over her shoulder. She greets the couple with a beaming grin before carefully setting down their ordered dishes. "Please enjoy the food!" "Thank you," Nawin and Irina reply in unison. They blink and look at each other before cracking a chuckle. The waitress giggles at the cute couple then give a bow of respect before exiting.

Makasha looks at the dish they selected. He went with a beef wellington while Irina picked the classic fish and chips. "Ooh," Shidou moans after getting a sniff of the food, "It smells heavenly!" Nawin lets out a light laugh, "Then eat up before you start drooling all over the table." Irina adorably sticks her tongue out in response, then grabs the knife and fork. She quickly cuts a piece of the fillet, and before Nawin could warn her, she immediately puts it in her mouth. "... HOT!" Makasha burst out laughing as Irina quickly and desperately grabs the glass of cold water, drinking it down all in one go, hoping it'll lessen the burns in her mouth. For the moment, Nawin forgets about everything and simply enjoy the bright company across of him. He softly smiles and slides his glass of water over to aid the moaning Irina. 'I'll focus only on her.'

Time Skip

"Wow... I," Nawin blinks in surprise, "I honestly did not expect you'd be staying in this kind of place, Irina." It had already reached near eight by the time the pair left the restaurant. Being so caught up with talking to each other, then finishing dinner with two large parfaits made time flown by for them. Irina gets fluster by her companion's words before letting out a sheepish laugh. "It wasn't really my choice," she reveals with a bashful grin. Irina once again looks ahead at the impressive rectangular shape building in front of them. With how bright the yellow lights are shining from it; it almost seems like it's glowing in gold. "The Golden Haven," Nawin utters the hotel's name and whistle "Five Star Accommodation no less. Never thought you to be such a posh person." "I just said it wasn't my choice!" Irina quickly corrects, flailing her arms around as her face turns completely red "I would've been perfectly content staying somewhere much more normal! But when the church here heard I was visiting; they took upon themselves to book a room for me here!" "Oh," Nawin raises an eyebrow, "That's nice of them. They take care of your accommodations?" "Yes," Irina exhales, calming down, "That's one of the perks of being a Hunter. Considering we travel so much around the human world. The church of any major cities we'd visit would take care of our accommodations to make our lives easier while we're on a mission," "I see."

Escorting Irina into the building by hand, Nawin quickly finds himself utterly lost as they now stand in front of the bustling main hall. Irina giggles and decides to take the lead. Holding firmly onto Makasha's hand, she leads him to the right where the elevators are. "Never been here?" Irina remarks, taking out a room card from the hoodie's pocket and place it on the sensor to open the elevator's door. "Nope," Nawin answers and enters the lift with Irina. "Heard of it... Crazy out there though" "Yeah," Irina press for the eleventh floor before leaning next to her friend, nodding, "I think there's a wedding going on right now" "That so," Nawin tilts his head to the right "Weird place to have one" "Oh?" Irina looks intrigued, "Not a fan of having it in a hotel?" "Not for me. I'd prefer mine to be somewhere more secluded and closer to nature" "Ehehe," Irina giggles, which have Nawin peers at her, brow raise. "What's funny?" "Oh, it's just," she grins, a faint blush form on her cheeks. "What you said is actually what I want for my ideal wedding. Secluded and near nature." "That so..." Nawin whispers with a faint smile.

For a moment, the pair stare at one another in silence, a smile on their faces. But, the sound of the elevator's door opening snaps them out of their stupor. Once again, Irina takes Nawin by his hand and leads him through the empty hallway until they reach her room, which was right at the end. "Private," Nawin notes, stopping in place as Irina releases his hand to unlock the door and open it. "Yeah," she replies and enters the room. However, Irina stops and for a second pause before turning around with a shy grin on her face, "D-Do you want to come in?" Nawin opens his mouth to decline the offer but finds himself freezing. 'You'll regret it if you leave without telling her a thing' Sairex words resurface in his mind. Even though Nawin does not know if he can go through with this plan, he still feels like telling Irina about it is the right thing to do. "Yes. There's actually something I want to talk to you about."

After taking off his shoes and entering, Nawin was not surprised by the neat and lavish the room that greets him. The size of the place was more than suitable for a single person, and from what he can see of the bathroom, it is enormous. "Lovely room," Nawin comments and takes a seat on the couch. "Yeah," Irina grins while fetching them a bottle of sparkling water. Shutting the fridge's door, she strolls towards the bed and hops on the edge of it, sitting straight across Nawin. "Here you go," "Thanks," Makasha takes the offered bottle.

"So," Irina softly speaks, tapping the glass bottle in her hands. "What did you want to talk about, Nawin-kun?" She can tell it is serious by the hardened look in her friend's eyes. "Well," A weak chuckle leaves Makasha's mouth, his eyes refuse to look up "How to begin..." After a few seconds past, he finally brings himself to look at Irina to see that warm violet eyes, a kind smile makes way onto her face "I'm all ears, Nawin-kun." Hearing those sincere words leaving Shidou's mouth brings ease to Nawin's heart. He wears a faint smile and nods. "Before I tell you what happened a couple of days ago... I should tell you who gave me this mark on my neck."

Nawin did not hold back as he shares with Irina everything that transpired between him and Ophis on top of that mountain after revealing to her that the Dragon God was the person who placed this mark on him. To Nawin's pleasant surprise, Irina remained quiet throughout and, like she said, listened to every word that left his mouth with keen focus. He was half expecting her to explode and start asking other questions in worry. But she kept silent, though did show shock and concern in her eyes. However, Nawin holds fear in his heart as he continued speaking, fear that Irina may see him in a bad light when learning of his decision to leave and become a deserter. Even though he now holds hesitation, it was just yesterday that idea was firmly set in his mind. He was ready to become a traitor.

"Now I hold doubt," Nawin whispers, staring at his open palms below as the bottle of water is set aside to the floor "I don't know if I can do it. I don't know if I can put my sisters through that pain. I don't know if I can look myself in the mirror, knowing I will further hurt Akeno, who's already emotionally hurt by our breakup. Me becoming a deserter will hurt everyone... Even if m-" "Your intention is good." Nawin watch Irina takes hold of his hands, her fingers wrap comfortably around his. He looks up to see that smile on her face, but it holds many emotions, so much that he cannot pinpoint what is really behind that expression.

"I can't imagine just how hard this must have been for you, Nawin-kun," Irina whispers, and to Makasha's surprise, she pulls him onto the bed with her. He lies on top then feels Irina wrapping her arms around his body. "Just relax for a moment, Nawin-kun" Shidou ushers, feeling how stiff her friend's body is. Nawin slowly obliges as he lets out a soft exhale, his body calm by the warmth emitting from Irina. His right cheek rest on the river of Irina's soft brown lock. He can smell a faint scent of strawberry from her hair, which further helps him unwind.

Irina stares up at the ceiling while keeping her arms firmly on Nawin's body. For a minute, the pair remain like this before Nawin finally opens his mouth. "Are you angry?" "No," Irina answers with such swiftness, and conviction in her tone stuns Makasha. "However, the idea of you becoming a rogue pain my heart immensely... To imagine you walking down a path that will have you be regarded as a villain by the masses is not right, it's horrible. You are a hero, Nawin-kun" "I'm not, Irina" "Don't be stupid, you are!" Makasha quickly goes silent by those loud words. Irina grits her teeth, and her grip tightens. "What you are willing to do... Walking down a perilous path in order to gain the power to protect others. You are prepared to villainize yourself to become a goal for Issei and the group, to provide them the determination to get stronger so they can defend themselves from future threats. All these selfless acts you came up with after being pushed to the corner by Ophis, and you don't call that heroism?!"

"... But I do not know if I can go through with it, Irina." Bringing her hands up, Irina softly cups the sides of Nawin's face and pulls to bring them face to face. She wears a sincere smile on her face, one of fond and admiration. "I can't be the one to help you pick what you should do, Nawin-kun. I won't be that person who believes in knowing what's best for you. This choice must be entirely up to you. But," Irina's smile broadens. "No matter what path you choose to walk in the end. Know my view of you will never change, Nawin Makasha. In my eyes, you are a hero... A hero I admire and love with all my heart."

"I-Irina." Nawin is shocked by those sincere words. Instead of trying hard to convince him to stray from following Ophis, she gave her honest opinion on how she felt and leaves it up to him to decide. "There is more... Isn't there?" Irina tilts her head, gently caressing Makasha's cheeks. "On why you feel like you need to leave... To become more powerful," "Yes..." Nawin whisper in response, "A person dear to me is out there protecting me in the shadows. For so long, all she's done is defend me because I'm weak. I refuse to allow that to continue anymore... I want to get stronger so that I no longer become a burden to her. Irina, my dream..." Shidou's eyes slowly widen, her hand pauses "Is to bring that person back to my family where she belongs. In order to make that a reality, I need to become stronger. Strong enough so I can defeat all the threats that lurk in the shadows. Not only for her but for you, for my family, for Issei and the rest. That is my dream." "... All you want is for your friends and family to live in a world without threat looming over them... Without death stalking them in the shadows." Irina's voice cracks as droplets begin trickling down her eyes "That's all I want," Nawin confirms "I don't want to lose anyone... I cannot remain oblivious to the danger in the shadows anymore. The Akumi are out there hunting down Longinus Holders. They have already got Dulio's and perhaps even others that we are not aware of. And in the future, they will, without a doubt, go for Issei and Lucy with everything they've got."

Irina silently allows the tears to continue to flow down her eyes as she stares at Nawin with a weak smile. She knows his decision has been made. The moment those words left his mouth, she sees that look in his eyes. Realization. Nawin has to leave to protect everyone he cherishes in his heart. Even if they are hurt by his action, it is a burden he will carry on his shoulders. As long as it helps them in the end, he'll give himself to Ophis and serve under her. "You have to go..." Irina speaks the words that are surely running in his mind "I have to go," Nawin repeats with a sad smile.

Overwhelm with emotions, Irina gets lost in it. Understanding that the person she loves with all her heart will leave soon, she loses those shackles. Shidou wraps her arms around Nawin's neck to pull him down. Their lips meet. Nawin's eyes widen in disbelief, but it slowly shuts as he returns it with equal intensity. After the relentless inner conflict with himself today that leaves him mentally drained, Nawin succumbs to the lust that has been bubbling between him and Irina since the beginning of the date.

The pair move in instinct as they deepen their kiss, their hands exploring each other's body with vigor. Nawin pauses to pull back and takes aim for Irina's exposed neck. Kissing and caressing it with his lip to earn him loud moans from the woman below. Seeing that he hit a sensitive spot, Nawin increases his attack and give a lick on the delicate skin, rewarding him with a louder moan from Irina. "M-more!" she shouts and wraps her legs around Makasha's waist.

"Ugh!" Hearing Irina's words snap Nawin out of his trance, and he quickly sits up. He gasps heavily and looks down at the panting woman with wide eyes. "W-we can't..." Makasha stutters out with eyes of regret for returning the gesture, "Irina, you'll fall from grace." "Nawin-kun..." Instead of displaying the same regret, Irina warmly smiles and takes hold of his hands. "You are right, Angels will turn if they perform such a sexual act without going through a lengthy purification ritual, but things are different for me. I am not a Pureblood Angel... I wasn't born as one, I was reincarnated to one. The only way for me to turn," Irina releases one of her hand and brings it to her chest, pointing the index finger to the area where the heart rests. "Is if the person I perform a sexual act with doesn't fully have a place in my heart. That I do not possess a true, pure love for them. But," Irina gently tips her head to the side as a loving smile spread across her face. "When it comes to you, Nawin-kun. I love you with all my heart. Without a doubt."

"Why..." Nawin softly utters, staring down at the smiling girl that is looking at him with endless love in her eyes. "Why would you hold such love for someone like me, Irina?" "Because of you, I am who I am today," Irina's smile widens. "You help changed my view on Devils. Before, I considered them the blight of this world until you came into my life and showed me that all of them aren't evil. You became the person I admire more than anyone. When I was tirelessly training hard to become a Hunter, you would always appear in my mind whenever I started doubting myself. I wanted to be acknowledged by you and feel worthy of your love." Irina's smile develops into that trademark goofy grin of hers. "If it wasn't for you, I would have given up on my goals long ago and remained as that gullible and naive girl you've first met."

Wordlessly bending down and planting his hands on the bed, Nawin stops in front of Irina's face. His tranquil eyes stare straight at hers. "I see... Then I'll ask you one more time, Irina," he whispers, "Are you sure about this?" Shidou brings her arms up and wraps it around Nawin's neck, she gives a soft nod "I don't want to have any regret when you leave Nawin-kun. Please grant me this request... Make love to me." Hearing those words, Nawin has nothing else to hold back, he leans down and kisses the girl that holds a special place in his heart.

Irina hoists her arms up to allow Nawin to remove her hoodie, he tosses it to the floor before moving onto the blouse. The two did not let their lips be away from one another and instead deepens it. When finally taking her blouse off, Nawin pulls back to inspect the pure white bra covering Irina's modest size breast. A fitting color for the Angel. Irina blushes but nonetheless wears that adorable grin. In truth, she is a bit subconscious of her body as compares to Nawin's past lover, Akeno, she was quite average. "Irina, your body is perfect," Makasha comment when seeing that apprehension look in those violet eyes, "R-really?" Shidou looks up with hope is gets that warm smile as a response "Yes, don't compare yourself to other girls. You are beautiful in your own way." With that said, Nawin dives down to attack Irina's neck with kisses. "Aah!" She cries in pleasure and holds tightly onto Makasha's arms.

Having his satisfaction quench from hearing Irina's melodic moans for a full minute, Nawin finally pulls back then swiftly removes his shirt. Irina's entire face immediately turns bright red when witnessing her love interest's impressive physique. Nawin smile at the adorable reaction before going down to lock lips with Irina once more. He can hear her heart pounding in her chest. Clearly, she's nervous as this will be her first time, so he intends to take it slow. Sliding his hands through her smooth, creamy skin, Makasha stops at the back of the bra to hold the clasp. "Please do it," Irina breathlessly whispers before smashing her lip back into his. Receiving approval, Nawin swiftly unclasps the bra to allow it to fall on the bed.

Nawin leans in to effectively push Irina down on the bed, he takes a moment to appreciate the beautiful breast before him. It is the perfect size for Irina, not too big or too small. A wonderful handful size busts with a colorful pink areola. Irina shyly bites her lip as she sees Nawin staring at her expose beast. "D-don't stare too much, Nawin-kun!" she squeaks out. "Sorry," he smirks. "I can't help myself; they look marvelous." Before Irina can give a reply, she lets out a surprised gasp when Nawin suddenly takes the right nipple into his mouth, tenderly sucking it. "Ahh-ahh!" Irina moans in delight and buries both her hands into Makasha's soft hair, gently tugging it. Nawin makes sure not to ignore the other breast, bringing his left up to gently fondle it while his fingers play with the perky nipple.

Irina can only helplessly cry and moan in joy by the pleasure Nawin is giving her. She knew this isn't his first time. 'H-he knows what's he is doing.' "Gaah!" A high-pitch cry left Irina's mouth when Nawin suddenly bites down on her nipple. There was no pain, but the sensation shocks Shidou's entire body. She pants heavily before looking down at Nawin as he continues to pleasure her breast. A smile makes way onto her first; she can't believe this is really happening. The man of her dreams is going to make love with her.

Nawin shifts his mouth to the other nipple, flickering his tongue over it repeatedly. When it is time to take the next step, Nawin pulls back and starts tenderly kissing up Irina's body, passing by the center of her breasts, her throat, her jaw until he reaches her lip. Irina lets out a blissful sigh and smiles up at Nawin. "T-this isn't your first time?" "No." With that answer, Nawin goes down and starts unzipping the jeans on Irina. When it is undone, she lifts her bottom up to allow it to slide off her legs. Tossing the jeans to the floor, Makasha's sight stops at the white color panties covering Irina's most private part.

Moving his eyes up, Nawn sees Irina blushing vividly, but she still bears that smile at him. There's no uncertainty in those eyes, only happiness and lust. Grabbing the sides of the last layer of clothes on Shidou, Nawin slowly slides it down until it finally is out. He drops it down on the floor then gazes at the hairless sex of Irina's. "N-Nawin-kun," she murmurs in embarrassment. But, Makasha quickly acts and moves up to pull her into another kiss to soothe her. However, he gets put off-guard when Irina starts pushing up. She shoves her tongue to his teeth, begging him to open it. He complies and allows her to explore inside his mouth. Consume by lust, Irina grabs Nawin's arms then pushes him to the side to roll him over until he is the one laying back-first on the bed.

Straddling sensually on Nawin's waist, Irina continues to thrash her tongue around in his mouth. She can feel his large bulge rubbing against her clit, creating a pleasurable sensation. Finally pulling away, Irina licks clean of the saliva on her lip and grin. Nawin looks dumbfounded by what just happen. He is shocked Irina has this in her. "I also want you to have a good time, Nawin-kun." After stating those words, Irina works through unbuckling the red belt until she is able to slide it out, dumping it to the edge of the bed. Next, Irina moves to unfasten the jeans then pulls it down all the way before tossing it to the carpet floor.

Grabbing the sides of the black color boxer, Irina slowly slides it down as her eyes remain on the bulge. She silently gulps until the large member is free from the confinement. Dropping the brief to the ground, Irina's gaze remains firm on Nawin's private. Gulping thickly, she shyly brings both hands down and softly wraps around the base. "D-does this feel good?" Irina asks as she begins stroking it. She looks up to see Nawin grunting in pleasure and nods. Smiling with more confidence, Irina speeds up as her hold tightens every slightly around the hot member. "I-It's big... I wonder if it'll fit," Irina whispers in wonders. A gasp leaves Shidou's lip when she suddenly finds herself on the bottom once more while Makasha sits on his knees between her legs.

Nawin looks down at her with a reassuring smile on his face. "I'll take it slow at first, so don't worry." Before Irina can reply, she lets out a loud moan when feeling Nawin's index and middle finger rubbing against her clit. "You are already soaking," "D-don't say that!" Makasha chuckles at how these comments will revert Shidou back to a shy girl. Leaning his head down to give a loving peck on Irina's lip, Nawin grabs his member then slowly push into Shidou's fold. Wincing at the size, Irina whimpers and firmly hold onto Nawin's shoulder. The latter grunts in pleasure at the tightness but continues at a steady pace, feeling half of his length is in. "Ahh!" Irina grunts in pain when Nawin's entire length is inside her, breaking through the hymen and taking her virginity. "It's ok," Makasha whispers in a soothing tone to calm her, giving soft kisses on the forehead and lip to divert her from the pain. Irina musters up a shaky smile, "Please g-give me a moment," "Of course."

Taking a deep breath and exhaling, Irina feels the pain beginning to subside fairly quickly. Wearing a brighter smile, she looks up at Nawin and gives the nod. "Ok, Nawin-kun. Please continue," "Alright." Slowly, Makasha begins thrusting, and soft moans of enjoyment leave Irina's mouth. Moving his hands from the bed down to Irina's hips, getting a firm hold, Nawin's rhythm becomes more rampant as the unbelievable tightness around his member builds up. "Ahh! Aaahhh!" Irina's pleasurable cries increase, and she opens her eyes to gaze at the defined pectorals and abs of Nawin; she studies the V-shape of his hips pointing directly to the shaft that's embed inside her. A blissful smile spread across her face as she reaches up to cup Nawin's face, looking at him in the eyes. "Keep going, Nawin-kun," she moans out. "It feels amazing! Give me everything you got."

Feeling Shidou's slender legs wrap around his waistline, Nawin's eyes sharpen, and his movement becomes harder to the point he is hammering down on her. His cock reaching the deepest part of Irina's inside. The king-size bed starts rocking and squeaking, but its sound gets overshadow by Irina's cries of ecstasy. Nawin watch as Irina's beautiful breasts bouncing up and down in a mesmerizing manner. He leans down and takes a soft bite on the left nipple, which sends another load moan out of Shidou's mouth.

Wanting to switch things up, Nawin leans back to grab both of Shidou's legs and untangles them from his midsection. Irina gasp when her legs get push up and over her shoulders. "Aaahhh!" she cries in pleasure as Nawin resumes thrusting, and with this new position, he is able to penetrate even deeper within her. Wrapping her arms underneath her supple thighs, Irina keeps the position in hold while watching Nawin continues to vigorously drill into her, making her eyes roll up to its socket.

"N-Nawin-kun," Irina pants hoarsely, barely mustering enough strength to speak "I-I'm gonna c-come. I am gonna come soon! I-I can't last m-much longer..." "I am getting close, too," Nawin informs, only to increases his thrusts that cause Irina to let out a high-pitch moan. "P-Please," she drops her legs to the side to cup Makasha's face, "Come in me!" "A-are you sure?" "Yes, I want to feel like we are entirely one tonight, Nawin-kun." Nodding in understanding, Makasha decides to give what his friend wish.

"Kyaaa, Nawin-kun!" Irina screams out his name as she reaches an intense climax. Nawin didn't last long as the walls squeeze through orgasming, and soon, his cock twitches violently, then paints Irina's inside with its sperm, filling her to the brim. For a moment, the only sound in the room is the heavy breathing coming from the pair on the bed. With his arms shaking ever slightly by the strong orgasm he just experienced, Nawin glance down at the sweaty and tired form of Irina. He takes note at her eyes being glaze over, no doubt experiencing the afterglow. She also bears a big grin on her face that discards any worry within him. With a soft smile forming on his face, Nawin draws his hips back then collapses beside the girl.

With Irina incapable of moving, Nawin slowly reach over to turn the lights off then pulls the blanket over their body to stay warm. With those done, Nawin drops his head on the pillow and shift to the left to see Irina looking at him. That beaming smile on her face feels like it is brightening the dark room. "Ehehe," an adorable giggle leaves Shidou's lip as she scooches closer and wraps her right arm around Nawin, burying her face onto his chest. "Thank you, Nawin-kun" "No, thank you, Irina" "Hmm, why?" Shidou blinks and glances up to see that peaceful expression on Makasha's face. "Because of you, I truly feel at harmony now. If it weren't for everything you did, I would have had a mental breakdown. So, thank you."

Smiling in content, Irina shifts her head around to have her cheek rest on the pleasantly warm and solid chest. "I love you, Nawin-kun" "..." "Please say it for me, Nawin-kun. I know you are leaving tomorrow, but please... Just once" "... I love you, Irina." Hearing those words coming out from Nawin's mouth and knowing it is said from his heart, Irina lets out a blissful sigh before succumbing to sleep. Looking down at the beautiful girl in his arm with a hint of sadness in his eyes, Nawin leans down and gives a soft kiss on the top of Irina's head before closing his eyes.

Next Day

A ray of morning sunlight manages to peek through the curtains and shines through the dim room, settling on Nawin's face. His eyelids start twitching ever slightly before it finally opens to reveal those blood-red orbs. The illusion that was cast has worn out. Letting out a soft grunt, Nawin slowly leans up but stops when feeling a noticeable weight on his chest. Blinking to clear the morning blur, a smile form on his face when seeing Irina's serene expression coming to view. She has her head resting on his chest while her right arm is firmly holding onto his waist.

Nawin sneaks a glance to the side at the display clock set on a table, seeing the time is nearing six in the morning. Looking back at Irina, Makasha's face soften. He would love nothing more than to go back to sleep and wake up later to spend more time with the amazing girl that's sleeping on him. However, the harsh reality reminds him that he is now on borrowing time. Carefully removing Irina's arm from him and setting her head on the pillow, Nawin slides to the edge of the bed and stands up.

Grabbing his clothes that are scattered across the floor, Nawin steps into the bathroom, gently shutting the door then place a silencing seal in the room to not allow noise to leave. Before he goes, he needs to shower as the smell of pheromones is very evident on him. After cleaning and drying himself, Nawin puts on his clothes then proceeds to cancel the seal. Quietly opening the door, he steps out and finds his eyes shifting to the sleeping beauty on the bed. Wanting to get a proper look at her face one more time, Nawin stops by the side of the bed. A faint smile tugs on his lip as he watches that peaceful expression on Shidou's face. '... Is she?' Nawin's eyes narrow in worry, and he gently places his hand on Irina's cheek. "... I see." A soft chuckle leaves Makasha's lip as he tilts his head to the right, his smile grows as he looks fondly at the sleeping girl. "You are still an Angel." 'When it comes to you, Nawin-kun. I love you with all my heart. Without a doubt.' Those words from last night resurface in his head. Taking a deep breath to control his emotions, Nawin leans down to place a soft kiss on Irina's forehead.

'This will be my last time seeing her,' Nawin notes, standing back straight, his smile becomes heavy. 'I don't know when we'll meet again.' Shifting gaze to the window, Nawin close his eyes and concentrate "... Nawin-kun." Hearing his name being called, Makasha's eyes snap open in shock. He peers over, and his face eases when seeing Irina is still asleep. She is merely whispering his name in her sleep. "Please," Irina continues, her expression shift to concern "Stay safe..." "Irina," Nawin softly mutters as a single droplet falls from his eye. Hanging his head low and gritting his teeth to prevent the cries from escaping, Nawin brings his hand up to wipe the tear away. He has already made his decision. Looking back at Shidou, Nawin gives one last genuine smile. "Thank you, Irina... Goodbye."
