I've been busy catching up with various events I've missed, so here's a white day oneshot with sweet Midoriya!

Quirk: Bunny

- Midoriya's POV -

(y/n) (l/n). She had to be the most beautiful girl in school. She had beautiful (h/l) (h/c) hair and sparkling (e/c) eyes that hypnotised me whenever I had the rare chance of talking to her. She was so kind and compassionate, and I couldn't help but watch her from afar. Her quirk made her even more adorable, as she had long rabbit ears poking out of her head and a white pom pom tail which I sometimes wondered what it'd be like to touch. She also had whiskers coming from her cheeks, and her small button nose would twitch from time to time. I wanted nothing more then just the ability to hold a conversation with her, but my anxiety wouldn't let me.

The only people that knew of my feelings for the girl with the rabbit quirk was my two friends Sugaya and Kimura, as well as my mum. All three of them pressure me into confessing to her, whether they know they're doing it or not, but each time I just blush brightly and stutter 'no'. "Any girl would be lucky to be with my Izuku," mum said sweetly, pinching my cheeks.

"Mum, I can't do anything, she probably doesn't even know I exist," I mumbled, but my thoughts travelled back to the mornings of the past couple of weeks when she'd actually approach me and say 'good morning.'

"Aw, honey, of course she knows you exist! After all, she's in your classes isn't she?" Mum said as she prepared dinner.

"Yeah I guess but... I don't know," I sighed, resting my forehead on the dining table.

"You know what day is coming up soon don't you," mum said and again I sighed.

"I know mum, White Day."

"What more of a perfect opportunity is there to confess!"

"But she didn't get me anything for Valentines Day! I can't make her anything for White Day because she didn't even acknowledge me on Valentines Day," I mumbled sadly, remembering the day. I was hoping that she'd at least say a good morning to me like she sometimes did, but that never happened. This time it was my mums turn to sigh as she placed dinner on the table. That night I went to bed, my mind unable to wander away from (y/n). I kept thinking about what would happen if I were to give her something on White Day... would she accept it or would she laugh in my face? Would she want to be with me or would she never talk to me again?

The next morning came and I was back at school waiting for the morning lesson to begin, scanning through my thirteenth Hero Analysis for the Future journal. Suddenly there was a presence next to me and I looked up, expecting it to be Kacchan about to shout at me again but instead (y/n) stood there. I let out a whimper as I looked at her. "Good morning Midoriya!" She beamed.

"G-good morning (l-l/n)," I mumbled, blushing bright red.

"What have you got there?" She asked, grabbing the seat from the desk next to me and pulling it up to mine. My heart was racing as she was in such a close proximity to me. "'Hero Analysis for the Future'," she read my titled journal and I squealed, thrusting it back into my bag.

"I-it's nothing!" I exclaimed, not wanting her to see the fact I was a total fanboy.

"Oh, really? Because it sounds pretty interesting," she said. I gulped, not knowing what to say as I simply stared at her in surprise. "Well, I'll be heading to my seat now. Class is about to start," she said, standing up and walking over to her friends. I sighed and put my head on my desk, my ears heating up quickly as I regretted barely being able to say anything.

The week slowly dragged on, and it was slowly reaching White Day. Now more then ever, Kimura and Sugaya were pressuring me into confessing to (y/n). "C'mon Midoriya, she's been talking to you a lot more recently!" Kimura said and it was true, she'd try to hold a conversation with me in the mornings, she'd wave at me when we passed each other in the hallways and she'd always go out of her way to wish me a good night at the end of the day. "At least give her something, you don't have to necessarily ask her out."

"I-I don't know," I mumbled, furrowing my eyebrows and clutching onto my journal, crumpling its pages slightly.

"C'mon Midoriya, you can do it!" Sugaya enforced. "She'll love it!"

"I-I-,"

"I'm sure she'd appreciate a box of sweets," Sugaya said and finally I gave up.

"But I won't even know what to say to her," I said sadly.

"If you don't feel confident enough then just say 'happy white day', hand her the gifts and be on your way," Kimura said. I tapped my foot, considering the options.

"O-okay... I'll... I-I'll try," I mumbled. As soon as I got home that evening I told my mum that I was going to at least attempt it, and she seemed so proud of me. She brought out one of her many cooking books and flicked to a book-marked page which was a recipe on romantic chocolates. "You bookmarked the page?" I asked my mum with raised eyebrows.

"Well, I had a feeling you might of had a change of heart sweetie. I thought we best be prepared ready for that!" She said, pulling all the necessary ingredients from the kitchen cupboards. We spent all night trying to perfect the sweets ready for White Day which was in two days time. I felt like I was on a sugar high when I tried to get to sleep that night, and for a moment I wondered what would happen if (y/n) accepted the gift and my feelings... although the likelihood of that happening was next to none.

The next day I found myself slouched at my desk in the classroom, yawning from the lack of sleep due to the amount of consumed sugar. "Good morning Midoriya!" The chirpy voice belonging to (y/n) sounded, making me jump.

"H-hello (l/n)," I said with as much confidence as I could. She smiled down at me.

"Oh, you look a little tired, are you okay?" She asked, tilting her head a little bit. I couldn't stop staring at her adorable bunny ears that flopped down a little. "Midoriya?"

"O-oh! Erm, yes, I'm okay, just didn't sleep very well," I mumbled.

"Aw, that's a shame. Oh! I wanted to show you something!" She said excitedly. From her bag she pulled a notebook and handed it to me. On the front cover I noticed she had written 'Hero Analysis for the Future', which made my mouth gape open. "I took a leaf out of your book and decided studying heroes so I'd know more about how to become one in the future! It's a great idea after all, Midoriya," she praised and I blushed bright red, my voice getting trapped in my throat. "Well, I'll see you after lesson!" She skipped away to her friends. My heart was thumping fast as both Kimura and Sugaya approached me with a raised eyebrow each.

The day went on as it usually would, getting shouted at by Kacchan, accidentally ignoring lessons as I flicked through my hero journals, and the occasional sweet interaction with (y/n). Once I had finally reached home, I collapsed on my bed, sighing rather deeply as I thought about (y/n). I barely thought about anything else recently, and nerves were piling up inside me as I thought about White Day tomorrow. That was when I noticed a wrapped up box on my desk and I wandered over to it to see that mum and already wrapped (y/n)'s White Day present, adding a little bow on top and a label with (y/n)'s name written on it.

"Mum! You didn't have to wrap it..." I shouted out from my bedroom.

"Oh honey, your wrapping skills aren't the greatest," she said, coming to my open bedroom door. "So, do you know how you're going to do it?"

"No... I don't even know if I am going to do it," I admitted, staring at the gift. "I'll take it tomorrow, a-and maybe I'll get the confidence to do it."

Mum sighed but thankfully didn't pressure me. We said our goodnights and I went to bed that night, simply staring at the wrapped present wondering how I was going to give it to (y/n).

- The Next Day -     - (y/n)'s POV -

"So, has anyone received any White Day presents yet?" Nakamura asked. She was one of my closest friends, and at the moment we were all around one lunch table, happily eating.

"I haven't," said Kurahashi sadly.

"I received one," Yada said, brining out a box of chocolates.

"That's so cute! I got one from a guy in 3-C, he seemed nice enough," Nakamura said. "What about you, (y/n)?"

"Yeah... I've received one or two..." I said, looking down at my bag that had six White Day presents in it.

"You've got all of that!" Kurahashi whined as I pulled my bag up onto the table.

"Yeah," I mumbled awkwardly.

"Any from that guy in class? Midoriya, isn't it?" Nakamura asked but I shook my head.

"Midoriya? As in the one that Bakugou bullies? You like him?" Yada asked. She was in 3-B so she didn't know too many of our classmates.

"Well, I don't know if you'd say 'like', I think he's cute in a dorky kind of way," I shrugged.

"He gets so flustered around you it's hilarious," Nakamura laughed.

"Hey, that's not nice! He's sweet, I don't know him too well but he seems nice enough," I said. The girls looked at each other with raised eyebrows. "What?"

"It sounds like you like him to me," Kurahashi voiced and the other two agreed.

"How can I like him when I barely know him," I defended.

"Did you not hear yourself just a second ago? 'Oh, he's cute, he's sweet'," Nakamura laughed.

"You guys are a nightmare- oh hang on, I think I left my water bottle in the classroom, I'll be back in five," I said, standing and leaving the girls, walking out of the cafeteria and towards 3-A.

- Midoriya's POV -

I stood in the classroom, thankfully alone, as I held (y/n)'s gift in my hand. All I had to do was message her to meet me in the locker room, and to give her the present, but why was it so hard all of a sudden. Nervously I tried reaching for my phone, but a part of me couldn't grab it. My breathing was heavy as my eyes lingered on her present, wondering what her reaction would be.

Suddenly I jumped out of my skin as the classroom door opened, and to my misfortune, Kacchan walked in followed by two of his friends - if you could call them friends, they just seemed to follow him because they were too scared to go against him. "O-oh, hey Kacchan!" I said quickly.

"What the hell have you got there?" He scoffed, and before I could do anything he had taken (y/n)'s gift away from me.

"N-no! Kacchan, don't!" I cried but he held it out of my reach.

"'To (y/n)'," he read the label before laughing out loud. "You got a White Day present for (l/n)? You're such a loser Deku, as if she'd be with a quirkless nobody like you!"

"Yeah, have you seen her? She's way too good for you," one of his friends said, making my body shake. He was right.

"Defenceless Izuku, trying to give (y/n) (l/n) a little White Day present. It's a joke!" Kacchan laughed loudly again, then throwing the chocolates to the floor.

"N-no, Kacchan, please don't!" I pleaded.

"Too late," he scoffed, stomping his foot hard on them. I looked down at them, heartbroken, as the paper was all crumbled and the chocolates were undoubtedly squished beyond saving.

"W-why did you do that?" I mumbled under my breath, my eyes still on the chocolates.

"To teach you a damn lesson! Who the hell would ever want to spend time with such a loser, such a pathetic pushover?" Kacchan shouted, explosions forming from his palms. I was close to crying before suddenly-

"That's enough!" (y/n)'s voice shouted. The four of us glanced towards the door to see (y/n) standing there in the frame. "How dare you think you can do that to him! He's clearly worked hard to give those chocolates to someone he cares about, why the hell would you crush them?" She walked over to us and stood between Kacchan and myself. "You're such a bully Bakugou, why would you crush his hard work when all he wants to do is give them to the person he cares about?"

"(l-l/n), y-you don't have to-," I mumbled.

"You're such an asshole Bakugou! Look at what you've done to these-," she held up the box but caught sight of the label with her name on it. She froze on the spot. My heart rate excelled to abnormal lengths and I couldn't stay in the room any longer. Immediately I ran away from the situation, hoping that it was all just some kind of nightmare. Faster and faster I ran down the corridors, tears falling from my eyes as I knew this was all a big mistake.

"Midoriya! Midoriya, where are you?" I heard (y/n)'s voice shout. I jumped out of my skin as she ran around a corner and almost bumped straight into me. She was still holding the gift, and I couldn't help but let more tears out.

"I-I'm s-sorry (l/n)... I-I- I don't know what I was thinking... K-Kacchan's right, y-you're w-way to good for m-me, I know that-,"

"Midoriya..." she mumbled and I stopped talking, looking down at my feet, not wanting to look at her as she rejected me. "I love them."

I snapped my head up, wondering if I had heard her right. "Thank you Midoriya, this is incredibly sweet of you," she was smiling sweetly, and my heart felt like it was about to burst from my chest. "They're the best present I have received today, not only because the chocolate is delicious but because it was you who gave them to me."

I thought I was going to feint. She wanted a White Day present from me? She was happy that I gave her something? She ate it- she ate it?

"(l/n), Kacchan stomped on those!" I squealed awkwardly.

"He only ruined the packaging, the chocolate inside wasn't harmed, only a little squished," she was still smiling which made my cheeks heat up even more. "I was wondering though... if you could maybe give them to me properly?" She asked, handing them back to me. Awkwardly I took them, breathing incredibly fast as my mind whirled. I sniffed and rubbed my eyes on my sleeve to stop the tears.

"(l-l/n)..."

"Yes Izuku?"

I almost had a heart attack - she used my first name. It sounded amazing coming from her mouth. "W-would... c-can I... erm- h-here are some White Day chocolates!" I exclaimed, pushing them back into her grip. She giggled and I thought perhaps I had done something wrong.

"Thank you Izuku, they're amazing," she suddenly stepped closer, leant up and pressed her lips against my cheek. I think my head just exploded. "Could there maybe be a chance you want to meet up outside of school? Just the two of us?"

My eyes widened like saucers. "A-a-a... a d-date?" I squeaked and she nodded with a smile and a slight pink hue to her cheeks. "I-I-... y-yes, I'd like that," I mumbled, twiddling my thumbs awkwardly.

"Great! I'll message you some details. Thanks again Izuku," she said, gesturing the chocolates. Again she placed a kiss on my cheek, lingering a bit longer this time. I could barely breath as she pulled away and waved, running off in the direction of the cafeteria. My legs turned to jelly and I collapsed onto the floor, breathing rapidly as my heart pumped immensely. My heated face never seemed to calm down as I leant my back against the wall, trying to comprehend what just happened.

She defended me in front of Kacchan? She accepted my White Day gifts? She kissed me on the cheek, twice? And now I was going to go on a date with her? I was going to go on a date with her! A disastrous day turned out to be a pretty good one.
