Ryan's POV
It's been a whole week almost and August still hasn't came to me and talked about buying a house. Maybe is not bout his business as much as he says he is. Anyway it's Thursday well almost Friday.... I'm in the office doing after hours again. The place closed 4 hours ago and it's 11:58 P.M. I plan on staying til 3 a.m. I have a lot to catch up on. I shouldn't have gone to that stupid club just to hear a song about being "Faded".
I was at my desk filling out some papers when I hear a knock on my office door. I thought the building was empty?
Me- C-Come in?..
That's when August appeared in my doorway.
Aug- Wassup.
Me-Um. Hi August..W-what are you doing..here. *Scratches Top of Head*
Aug- Well I'm workin late in da studio and I thought I'd leave ya a letta unda ya door lettin ya know I'll be by *Looks at clock (12:20 A.M)* Today *Chuckles* But I saw a light on in hera and so I knocked.
His NOLA accent is kinda cute.
Me- Oh Ok. That's fine. You can sit.
August took a seat in from of my desk.
Me- We can talk about finding a house now if you want? I have time.
Aug- Ightt. Dats coo. *Clears throat*
Me- Ok. So *Gets out calendar* When would you need a house. Like, what's your deadline?
Aug- I need one by toma.
Me-What? August buying a house is a process. It's not just going to happen like that. We need to know you credit and things finically...
Aug- I already been through all dat. I'm straight finically.. Dats what I've been doing all week long. *Holds head in hands* I jus need a house by toma.....I already booked a flight for my litta nieces to by flown down hera toma. I'm tryin to get dem down hera fast as possible. *Clears throat* Its been months na since I last saw dem... I miss em. *Looks up at me*
For a moment there it seemed like he was going to cry but that sad dude got wiped away quick and went back to the strong independent August side. I knew I was crazy for what I was going to say but I have a heart.....and a lot of space in my house.
Me- You said they are suppose to be coming down here tomorrow?
Aug- Yea.
Me- Where do you stay?
Aug- In a one bed room hotel.
Me- How about your little nieces stay with me until we find the perfect house for you guys...I have a lot of rooms in my house so it won't be a problem at all.
Aug- Dat'll be great. Thank Ya.
August reached over the desk and embraced me in a warm huge. That's when I realize how tall he was and how he smelled so so good.
Aug- Um. Ma ya can let go na. *Chuckles*
Me- Oh. I'm sorry. It's just you smell great.
Ok that came off a little weird.
Aug-*Chuckles* Thank Ya. It's Versace.
Me- I like that. *Smiles* It smells great.
August and I were just smiling at each other for a second but he broke the gaze.
Aug-*Clears throat* I got to bounce but I'll get with ya toma.
He was about to walk out but I stopped him.
Me- I'm off tomorrow. Do you want me to pick them up from the airport?
Aug-*Sighs* You're a life savea. I was gonna send a car for dem because I have a photoshoot and a interview. Their plane should hit da A around *Looks in phone at a message* 3:00 p.m. *Looks down at me*
Me- Ok. I'll bring them by....
I stopped to see where he would be at around 3:00 P.m. And to get the address.
Aug- At 3 I'll be in my interview so ya can bring dem by the radio station on Atlantic State St. Hera let me see ya phone.
I gave August my phone and he programed his number in. Then he called himself and programed mines in.
Aug- I'll text it to ya incase you forget ightt?
Me- Ok.
Aug- Ightt. *Walks out*
Omg I can't believe I have company living with me for at least 2 or 3 months! And they're little kids...I have so much to learn..
