Cleo's POV
I woke up groggy and in the dark. But I was moving. I tried to sit up and hit my head.
"Fuck." I said out loud.
I felt around the dark space. And heard a car horn really close to me.
I'm in a fucking trunk. What the fuck?
I tried to remember what happened. The last thing I remembered was promising myself to Billie and falling asleep. I ruffled my hair. It was shorter. Who cut my hair? What the fuck?
I was wearing different clothes. Loose clothes. I couldn't see them but I could smell them. They were Billie's....I felt a little bit better. I tried to trust that she is taking care of me and she made this plan. But I was scared. Why doesn't she tell me anything?
The trunk started to open and the brightness burned my eyes. Billie stood there and looked down at me. Her hair shoved inside of a beanie, the remainder of her hair that was loose was now dyed black.
"Stay quiet. Do as I say." She commanded, covering my mouth, then moving to grab my cheeks harshly. I nodded.
