"Hello."
She almost jumped on her seat as I whispered right on her ear.
"What's with you?"
She frustratedly asked.
I laughed a little before sitting in front of her.
It is our lunch time and I found her here at the cafè outside the hospital.
"You didn't call me when you're break started, what have I done for you to leave me there?"
I asked, my lips pouting.
"I thought you're still checking Jennie's condition, she is pretty pale and she looks like she is not eating regularly, she is a little thin."
Chaeyoung stated and I agree with that.
I nodded and swallowed my food before answering...
"She is suffering from insomnia plus, I think she is anemic."
I answered and she clicked her tongue.
"Doesn't Taehyung taking care of that woman."
It wasn't a question but an insult.
My eyed landed on my food, I continued eating but I didn't said a thing.
"He has the guts to tell you that day that you can take care of everyone on the hospital, that you are lending your time to the patients but you can't take care of him or give him enough attention. But look at hum now, his present seemed to be unhealthy beside him."
She added and a weird smile formed on my lips.
"Can't you take a day off? I really want to be with you. You're always there, you're always taking care of everyone, can't them let you take some rest too?i miss you."
His exact words before when I am still an intern on the hospital, it is our second year of relationship, when he still loves me the most.
"Okay, that smile is weird and scary. Don't ever think of him, stop thinking about his good days with you, those days are done, it should be left in oblivion."
She stated and snapped her finger on me to wake me up like I'm having a deep trance.
"You are the first one talking about him and now you are asking me to don't think of him? Is that even?"
I asked squinting my eyes and she just clicked her tongue.
Then...
We continued eating...
Few moment...
She spoke again...
Really, this woman I call my best friend can't keep herself shut when she is with me.
"Anyway, you checked Suga already, right?"
She asked.
"Mm."
I hummed as a response of yes while chewing my food.
"What did you offer him?"
She asked and I almost choke on my saliva in surprise.
"What?"
She looked at me seriously and my eyes widen in realization.
"I haven't asked him about it yet, I forgot."
I answered and she rolled her eyes before chuckling.
"Old."
She mumbled under her low breath and chuckled before chewing her food...
And I felt like she is teasing me inside her head even more...
"You're older."
I commented.
"Yeah, I'm literally older but my brain isn't old as yours."
She answered and I gasped loudly.
"How dare you question my intelligence."
I lifted the fork and pointed it to her.
"Okay, okay, I got nothing about that question. You have three specialization, and I got only two so I'll shut myself up."
She commented but she still sound like she is teasing me.
"Well, then, anyway, what will you offer him?"
But she turned the main topic back.
I dropped my shoulder and lose my grip on my spoon and fork and looked at the food in front of us.
"I don't think he has somewhere to go, and someone to ask for help."
She looked at me grimly as I began.
She leaned her back on the support of the chair and crossed her arms, her tongue is playing inside her fullfy cheek.
She knew me well...
I will offer something that is too much for a person that I just knew because he is my patient.
"And I guess he can't pay me now so...I'll offer him to live with me, work for me and fulfill my needs."
I stated with lifting my confidence for a bit.
But my soul sunk as her eyes slowly widened.
Her lips barely parted in shock.
My brows furrowed and I reminisced my own words...
"And fulfill my needs."
My eyes widen as well.
"Oh my gosh, Chaeyoung, not that kind of need!"
I whisper yelled and she looked at me disdainfully.
"You will ask him to live with you? To work for you and to fulfill whatever needs you are talking about?"
She pointed out, questioning my idea.
I nodded.
"That's too much. What if...what if he is a bad person? What if he steals? What if he is a maniac..."
She gasped exaggeratedly and continued....
"What if he rapes you?"
My brows furrowed and my face surely showed a sour expression.
"You're such a judgemental person, of course he won't do that. Besides, I actually wants to be friends with him and I guess, a month of living with me won't kill me."
I stated.
"I don't know, Lisa, I really don't know."
She shook her head and intimidatingly answered.
"It's okay. I'm not asking for your opinion, anyway."
I stated sarcastically making her look at me with annoyance.
"Fine, so if something ever happens to you because of him living in your house, I'll just laugh at you."
She stated before rolling her eyes and I just laughed.
"Come to think of it...
I'm being too kind for him...
Too kind that even me...
Wants to question myself why."
