The girls were approaching to the taxi when the guys appeared from nowhere. Guggi and Edge got out of the car grabbing Bono, who was still dizzy.
"Wait!" Guggi shouted to the girls and took Bono inside
"Look, why don't you both talk? I know he behave like shit, but he's drunk. I know him Sun; he would never treat a girl like that. Especially you, he likes you" Edge said
"We have nothing to talk about Edge; I thank you for what you did, because you took care of me the way he should. He laughed right to my face, he treated me like I'm his hooker after everything I told him and he knew it was hard for me to open myself. And by the way, tell him his hooker came too early tonight, she left" Sun said full of anger
"Sun, please. He's drunk, he's not ok. Bono never behaves this way" Edge said as Guggi came back from inside the house
"If he never behaves that way, he should come here to talk to me, not send you. Look Edge, I'm sorry. I'm not gonna go back inside. Thank you, really. You're a good man, as well as you Guggi. I just hope he knows that" she said ad left to the taxi, leaving Edge and Guggi standing still
Eli was standing next to the taxi as Sun went inside the car. She understood her friend's reaction, but she would stay and talked to him. After all, they were different, Sun will never forgive nor forget about certain things, and lies and disrespect were some of them.
"Look Guggi, I would love to stay. I had a great time with you and also with you Edge. It was great to know you, really. You all look like amazing guys and it was great that out paths crossed to get to know each other. But she's my friend and I understand her decision. I have to go now" She said when the taxi honked. She hugged Edge, then stared at Guggi and kissed him passionately "I spent the best holidays with you in Dublin. The only thing missing was this" She said biting her lip "I'll see you again. Don't know when or where, but I just know" She left a little paper in his pocket, kissed his cheeks and got into the cab
"Jesus! What's going on in here!! What a weird night" Edge said looking confused
"I have no fucking idea, but it was insane. This girl is crazy. Just like me" he said following the cab with his eyes surprised
"Let's get inside to see Bono" Edge said
The girls went to the airport and took the first plane that was departing. Paris – Norway
"What the fuck are we supposed to do there?!" Sun asked
"Two things; see the Northern Lights and get drunk to endure the cold. There is -30° in there" Eli said
"What?! -30°??" Sun asked already feeling cold
"I've always wanted to see them, this is a sign. You love taking pictures, we had to forget things, so get drunk and take amazing pictures of the Northern beauties is perfect. Don't worry about the cold, with a few vodkas and some clothes they have, you'll be fine" Eli said and handed Sun a nice wrapped gift that happened to be a camera he bought for her friend
"It's beautiful! Ok, then. All for the Northern beauties" she sighed
Bono was awaking from his drunkenness. He opened his eyes slowly to find Edge and Guggi sitting in the couch having a coffee
"Oh, finally waking up" Edge said with a not very friendly look
"Hi, sleeping beauty. We're here to remind you, that you fucked up. Badly" Guggi said
"What? Wait, I was in Michael's house. What am I doing here?" Bono asked confused
"You were. But then you fucked it up and we brought you here. Didn't work though" Edge said
"Get to the point, cause I don't understand" Bono said
"You don't remember? Not a thing" Guggi asked
"I'm getting nervous, what the fuck happened?" Bono got serious
"Sun left" Edge said
"What?" Bono got froze. His face went pale; he didn't expect that, especially after what they had last night
"You were drunk, Michael asked how long it will take you to and I quote "To fuck her" cause que wanted to and I quote again "To fuck her too" and you asshole, just giggled. You stayed silent and giggled. Everyone was there, she came here, took her things and headed to the airport" Guggi said
"What the fuck!" Bono couldn't believe what he just heard
"We came and saw them leaving, I talk to her, but she was really hurt. She said you treated her like she was your whore knowing how hard it was for her to open up, that you laughed at her face in front of everyone and that your hooker came too early so she left. So yes, she was pretty angry" Edge lifted his elbows
"I fucked it... hard" Bono said looking totally ashamed of his behavior "I'm an idiot. Michael sent me hookers?! How many people were there? I said nothing? " Bono asked, he still couldn't believe what he did
"You giggled... in front of her, Eli, the lads and the supermodels that are around Michael, so yeah, around 12 people. And yes, Michael send you a hooker" Edge said
"Where are them?" Bono asked
"They are gone. We don't know. They both had their luggage's with them. Your house keeper told us they asked him for a taxi to the airport. So I guess they went to Berlin or Buenos Aires or who knows where..." Guggi replied
"How idiot I am! I need to find her and tell her I'm sorry" Bono said looking at his fiends
Some hours later, the girls arrived to Norway. A very cold and mysterious place. Sun got her camera out, the only thing that took Bono out of her mind.
They were heading to a little town, in the middle of nowhere, where the Northern Lights usually appear. Eli packed a little bag with Vodka and some things to eat. They were both so sheltered they couldn't move. It was dark and cold. The only thing they could do was waiting for the mysterious lights to come.
"You know Eli, remember when I told you how I met Bono in Buenos Aires?" Sun asked
"Sun, you don't have to talk about him if you want" Eli said
"I have to tell this to someone. Do you remember or not?" Sun asked again
"You were running in the park. He told you his name was Paul" Eli said and laugh in the end
"Yes. Remember I saw him painting something, very concentrated. His hands were running to catch every little detail or whatever he had in his mind?" Sun said while her eyes were lost in the dark skies
"Oh, yes. I do remember now"
"Well... He painted me. That painting is me running in Jacaranda Park" Sun finally said
"What?! But... He saw you only once at that time" Eli asked surprised
"Yes. And still he managed to stare at me the way he incredibly does and kind of take a picture of myself with his eyes to pain every detail of me..." She said imagining his intense gaze. "He showed it to me the night we slept together... He then hung the painting in his room after that night"
"Wait, what?" Eli asked surprised
"When I took my things to come here I entered his room for one las time, I don't know why. But I stare at the bed where a few hours ago I was with him, felling his perfume, his warm skin, his gaze, his smile and there it was; the painting hanging above the bed" Sun said imagining that night and having goosebumps on her skin
"He likes you and very much to do that" Eli said "Since we're getting honest... I slept with Adam"
"What?! Why didn't you tell me?" Sun asked surprised by her friend's confession
"Well...I stayed in his house in Dublin. Guggi is living with him, cause Adam hates being alone, so they work and inspire each other and stuff. Thing is Adam is very sexual, very intense. But Guggi, he's from out of space. He's fun, crazy, he will always surprise you. I thought he was just being friendly with me, that he was not interested in something more. But last night, he opened up. He said he was feeling sad because I was leaving, that he finally found someone crazy like him and very childish things, but romantic and honest, you know? And I felt guilty for sleeping with his best friend. I don't know if he's aware of it. And that's why I kissed him. It was like a thank you..." Eli confessed
"Oh lord. This is very therapeutic" both laughed "Don't lie to yourself, that kiss wasn't a thank you, it was an "I want you" kind of thing. I like him. He seems a good guy. I know you're crazy like him, and since you're not attached to anything, you're more like a nomadic, stay in touch with him. He travels around Europe and you could see each other every once in a while" Sun suggested
"I know. When I kissed him, I left my personal card in his pocket" Eli said
"Oh...Such a professional" Sun smiled
"Let's have a toast! For the therapeutic Northern Lights!" Eli said as they both had a shot of vodka
After that toast, the lights finally started dancing in the dark skies. It was a magical night. Those intense green and violet colors moving around darkness.
After an hour of silence just admiring such a spectacle, the lights went away and left a skyline stained, like a canvas, for the stars to shine bright. They could feel like the starts were visiting them and showing how beautiful they are.
