Emma's POV:
I wake up on the couch with the early morning sun creeping into the apartment. I rub my eyes and try to remember what happened last night. The Boys.
I quickly check my phone, but nothing is on there. Just a notification from some Youtubers. I can't believe it. They're actually gone. I start to sob on the couch, while trying to be as quiet as possible, so I don't wake Kong up. I decide to text Daniel once more.
Emma: Daniel, if you are alive, please respond. I don't know what I'm going to do if you were a victim in all of this. As every minute goes by, my heart breaks a little more knowing I can't hold you in my arms. I want to feel the warmth that you give me every time we embrace. I want to feel the safeness I always feel while I'm around you. I want kiss you and feel at home, even if it's for the last time. Just once, if I could. Daniel please respond. I'm not the same without you. I feel like I'm missing a part of my heart that keeps me sane.
After sending that long message, I go to the guest bathroom that I didn't know we had until last night, when Logan directed me to it to change. My eyes are bloodshot red, I'm guessing from the lack of sleep last night, and my cheeks are swollen from crying myself to sleep. From the bathroom, I faintly hear my phone ding. I dart out of the bathroom and bolt to the couch where my phone lay. I look at it with hope and a wide toothy smile. When I saw who it was, my smile instantly faded.
Liam: Good morning :)
Emma: No, it's not a good morning.
Liam: What do u mean?
Emma: you know what happened in Vegas last night?
Liam: Yeah, it was awful. Why?
Emma: My boyfriend was there, and he hasn't responded to any of my text or calls. I don't know what to do....
Liam: Hey...it's okay. I'm not sure if this will make you feel any better, but everyone's phones got confiscated. He's probably not texting you because of that.
Emma: Really? How did u know?
Liam: My foster aunt was there. Luckily, she got to a pay phone and called us.
Emma: That's Good. Hey I gtg I'll text u later. Bye
Liam: Bye sweet peach
I smiled at the nickname Liam had given me a while back. While we were at lunch, I ate a peach, and complained it was too sweet. So from then on, he's called me Sweet Peach.
I get lost in my thought as I turn my phone off. The boys are fine...they'll be fine. Right?
Logan came out of his room, yelling at the camera Brendon was holding. He crawled on the ground a bit, then drank some weird juice.
"Dude what's wrong?" Brendon asked, obviously for the vlog because he doesn't talk like that in real life.
"BRENDON IM SICK!" He yells, which startled me a bit. He continues rambling on about how he's never been that sick and yotta yotta. I'm still really worried about Daniel and the boys, so I try to avoid the vlog as much as possible.
"Hey Em." Logan says while Brendon is changing the camera lens. He gives me a big toothy grin as I furrow my eyebrows.
"What?" I ask and plaster a half smile on my face.
"Can't a foster dad say hi to his adoptive daughter?" He ask and rests his chin on the palms of his hands.
"Well yeah, but you normally don't stop vlogging once you start." I say.
"Yeah, I know, but I know you aren't in the best mood after last night. I just want to say not to worry too much. I got in touch with their manager. He said that he hasn't talked to them, but people have reported of seeing them. We're hoping they'll come home soon." Logan says. With my smile growing wider, I hug Logan and make my way over to the kitchen while Logan is outside with some guy named Frank. The doorbell rang, which caused me to jump. I walk over to the door, open it, and see four familiar faces looking gloomy at me. Jonah? He's there. Zach? Right in front of Jonah. Jack? Beside Zach. Corbyn? Behind Jack. Daniel? Wait...where's Daniel? If this were all five of them, he would be in the middle. He'd be smiling at me because he was safe. I'd be smiling at him knowing I can hold him again. But this isn't the case. He's not there. In shock, I collapsed on the floor while everything went blurry. I tried at get up, but hit my head on the wood floor very hard. That's the last thing I remembered.

OMG U GUYS ARE CRAZY! On Sunday, I had about 680 reads on here. It's Tuesday, and I have 804. LIKE WHAT?! I absolutely love writing for you guys and I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I like writing it. Sorry this chapter was boring, but its kinda a filler chapter. But to be honest with you guys, i kinda want to end this book, because I have so many good ideas for new books, but I'll continue until I don't feel like writing it anymore. One more thing: I'm going to take a poll. I'm gonna list a whole bunch of story ideas(basically what it's about) and number them.
