Sometimes the best thing you can do is given in. Not give in to sin but surrender during an argument or disagreement. You don't have to be a pushover but you shouldn't worry about losing or giving something up during fights. In this world we are so concerned about ourselves that we often don't even think about giving up. However surrendering can be a very powerful actions that shows who you are and shows who God is. People see you not continuing in a disagreement, not because you're losing, but because you recognize it doesn't matter that much and they remember because it's rare in this word. Jesus gave up His life for us, He could've sent down armies of angels to save Him, He could've said the words and everyone trying to kill Him would died. But He willingly gave up His life so we could have freedom from sin. That's how He behaved so we should also surrender things. This isn't the same as being a pushover, you can state your opinions and go against others but you don't have to constantly butt heads about it. Stand up for yourself and others but know which battles to fight and when to surrender.
