Devotions; Defeating the Destroyer

Day 100

When I look at how many chapters I've written and how many votes and readers I've gotten I feel really proud of myself. I have stop for a minute and remember it's all God's doing, I'm a tool helping people grow closer to Him. There  should be a certain amount of healthy pride that comes with doing something well but God is really the one who deserves all the credit. As good as it feels to be proud of my work I feel better when I know what I wrote made a difference to someone and brought them closer to God. If God wasn't part of my life I would be in a much darker place especially after my parent's divorce and my good friends going to a different school. I write this and try to be a messenger for God to help more people come to Him and experience the love, hope, and joy only He can give. God is amazing and He really doss deserve all the honor because without Him nothing would be possible. We wouldn't exist and with His unimaginable power He still cares for us when we are basically ants to Him. He died for us and He creates us and all of our talents so the praise and pride really should go to God.
