"You're the one that I love and I'm saying goodbye."
Months passed by and Tony was true to his words. Whenever I feel sad or anything, I'll text him and he'll call. He never made feel like I was alone or I'm alone in this fight. He even asked permission to my parents to take me out for me to relaxed.
As I was on the set, I found out that I'll be with my former lucky sun housemates. They never told me about it.
I was alone when I saw them entering the dressing room. I wasn't informed I'll be with them, after months, I've mastered to control my feelings.
"Isske!" It was Maymay.
I forced myself to smile. "Ate May."
She smiled at me like nothing happened. How can you act so good, ate May? How can you act that way too me when in fact you turned your back on me?
I saw Edward and Marco. They were looking at me but they did not greeted me. I did not waste my time to greet them too.
I chose to sit far from the others and shifted my focus on my phone. I texted Tony about what was happening.
Sharkyboy:
Hey, I'm here sa set. And guess what? I'll be working with them... again.
Seconds had passed and he did not reply. Maybe he's doing something important?
The director called us already and told us what we'll do. There was a short briefing before the shoot.
It was too hard for me because I was not comfortable working with them again. Am I gonna say hello to my bashers again?
"Maymay, Edward, focused!" Direk Rory shouted. "I gave you this opportunity so don't waste it!"
We were shocked because of direk's sudden outburst. No one dared to talk after that. We continued like nothing happened.
I looked away when I saw Maymay looked at me. Wait, don't tell me it's my fault again?
"Pack up!" Direk shouted. "Ayusin niyo trabaho niyo!"
I went back to our tent and kept myself busy on my phone... not until someone got my phone away with me.
I stood up immediately because I saw anger in her eyes. "What's wrong with you, Maymay?"
"Ikaw! Ikaw ang problema ko!" She shouted at me. "Bakit ba lagi ka nalang nakikisawsaw sa kung anong meron ako?!"
My forehead creased. "What the hell are you talking about?"
"Napaka-walang puso mo!" She shouted while crying. "Bakit lagi mo nalang akong inaagawan?!"
"Wala kong inaagaw sa'yo." I'm still trying to be calm.
"Pagkatapos mong pagmukhaing masama si Marco, tinanggap mo 'tong movie ni direk?! Ano nananadya ka ba?!"
"'Yun ba kinakagalit mo?" I asked. "Hindi ko alam na kayo pala ang makakatrabaho ko. Pero kung alam ko lang sana hindi ko tinanggap."
Maymay slapped me. I lost all of my control and I pushed her, she lost her balance but Edward was there to catch her.
"Kisses!!" Edward shouted angrily.
"My parents never slapped me. Who the hell do you think you are?!" I shouted at Maymay. "I'm sorry if I always outshined you. I'm sorry if Marco was being blamed about our issues. I'm sorry if you can't work with me. But, if you really wanted to make this movie, then deal with it."
"Napaka-inggetera mo! Ginagawa mo naman ako!"
"Talaga ba? Saan banda?" I asked sarcastically. "I never wished nor dreamed to be like you. Not ever."
"You stinks." Edward said. "You're such a liar."
I felt my whole being was shaken at Edward's statement.
"Liar? How?"
"You made Marco's image bad. You made him looked bad."
"Because he is!" I shouted. "Do you even know what he did? I bet not."
His forehead creased. "What are you saying? Maymay said that you just don't want Marco because you like Donny!"
I looked at Maymay. She looked away. I never thought someone can betray me like this.
I shook my head in disbelief. "Lies, Edward. You believed in lies."
"It's not! Because Maymay never lied to me."
"But did Marco confirmed that?" He was about to say something. "Asked him, Edward. Asked Marco."
Marco was there, maybe weighting things about saying it or not.
"B-bro.." Marco called Edward.
"M-Marco." It was Maymay.
"What?!" Edward shouted. "Is it true? That what I believed in was lies?!"
I saw horror on Maymay's face. I shook my head. Fame really ate her system.
"Kisses and I had a misunderstanding." Marco said. "N-nabastos ko parents niya.. specifically, her mom.."
"WHAT?!" Edward's voice was like a thunder. "Why on earth did you do that?!"
"It was my fault, I know. I hurt Kisses' parents but most of all, I hurt Kisses." He said. "I never told you the reason kasi I know you would react like this."
"Of course, I will!" Edward shouted. "You do know how much Kisses value her parents!"
"That's why I'm sorry..."
"And why did you lied to me, Maymay?" Edward asked not minding what Marco said.
"I... u.."
"Why?!" He shouted. "You made me mad to someone who did not do anything! You made me a fool! Why?!"
Maymay cried. She cried like she was the victim here. She really knew how to play safe huh?
"Kasi alam kong iiwanan mo ako!" Maymay shouted. "Ikaw lang ang meron ako, Edward! Bakit napakahirap para sayo na i-let go si Kisses?!"
"You know the answer, Maymay. Don't make me say it."
"Na mahal mo siya?! Na gusto mo siya?! Ako yung kasama mo lagi! Ako!"
I shook my head. Now who's desperate? Is it me who chose to walk away or someone who chose to stay and waiting for something in return?
"Yes! Mahal ko si Kisses!" Edward shouted. "Are you happy now?! I love Kisses."
I looked at Edward and he looked at me. I shook my head at what he said.
"I.. I really do love you, Kisses." He said.
I smiled weakly. "I waited for those, Ed.. but.."
"But?"
"I got tired waiting.." I looked away. "I do love you too, but, my heart already gave up. I'm sorry."
"K-Kisses.. please, give me another chance.."
I was about to say something when someone entered our dressing room. We all looked and my eyes grew bigger when I saw him; he immediately went to me.
"Sorry. Kakatapos lang ng taping ko kaya di kita natawagan ka kaagad, dumiretso nalang ako dito. Okay ka lang ba?"
It was Tony. It was Tony who saved me again. It was Tony who made effort to make me feel alive again.
"I'm okay." I said. "You should've texted me nalang sana, naabala ka tuloy."
He smiled. "Alam mong kahit kailan hindi ka magiging abala sa akin. Atsaka, susunduin naman talaga kita, nakalimutan mo?"
"Oo nga pala." I said. "Sorry."
He smiled. "Lagay ko lang sa kotse gamit mo."
I nodded and faced Edward again but he looked away.
"Edward, I love you but, hanggang dito nalang ako." I said. "I hope someday, you'll meet someone who'll love you unconditionally. I'm sorry if I am not that girl anymore, but really, I'm hoping for the best."
I hugged Edward for the last time. I know I broke him, but I believe he's a strong guy and he can make it through this like how I did.
