Two un-dead soldiers marched side by side, rifles in hand, approach a man with his back turned.
"Did you find her?" His voice rang out, deep and impatient. I immediately recognized it as my father's.
''No sir." One answered, his voice quiet and gravelly.
"Then why are you here? Go find her now! If that brat messes up my plans I'll make sure you two will be the ones punished!" Father boomed whipping around so he was facing them.
"Yes sir." They both said in unison.
"She should be in New York. Once you terminate my ungrateful daughter, report to California.
I woke up with Jason's arms wrapped around me. Fortunately, father didn't notice my presence. I also now had a lead.

Have you ever shadow traveled hundreds of miles at once? I should hope not. I felt exhausted, but it made up for the lack of time we had. We were now in Kansas because I knew someone who lived here.
I walked up the steps with Jason and Annabeth trailing me. I pushed the doorbell and almost immediately was opened. Brown eyes meet my green ones.
"I hope you have room for three more." I say and walked in, placing my bag on the coat rack.
