"For the last time Ashley, you aren't going on that quest till we know more about the prophecy." Chiron exclaimed.
"Fine. I know a lost cause when I see one." I say and storm off. Yeah, I was going on that quest. He didn't need to know that though.
I packed my bag and headed to the Athena cabin. Annabeth would go with me , right?
Before I even knocked, Annabeth opened the door.
"Give me a minute to get ready." She said with a sigh. I think in our last lives we were twins.
We decided that it would just be me and her. The less demigods, the less monsters. We started up the long drive to Gotham.
It was 1 am before we got to Wayne manor. I snuck in threw the window of my room. I pulled Annabeth threw, then silently closed it.
"Let's get some sleep. We leave in the morning." I whispered to Annabeth.
"That sounds good." She whispered back.

Sometimes I hate the sun. And Apollo. Why can't you just let people sleep? More importantly, why can't he let me sleep?
Annabeth was still asleep. At least it's Saturday. No one should be awake yet.
I took the time to get dressed. I chose to wear the first shirt I saw.
Food. My stomach complains. I would kill for bacon right now.
I made my way to the kitchen. Unfortunately, I couldn't find bacon, but I did find pizza.
I swivel around only to come face to face with Jason.
"Surprise?" I say sheepishly.
"What are you doing here?" He asked looking momentarily surprised.
"My friend and I were just stopping by. We are preparing for a quest. You may join if you like. " I say blushing slightly.
"Hey Ashely... oh , am I interrupting something?" I turn to see Annabeth.
" Not at all. " I say backup away from Jason slightly.
"Hi, I'm Annabeth. And you are..." She started .
"Jason."
"Well, I'll be packing if you need me."
Annabeth said and started to walk away. " No love interest, yeah right." She mumbles in Greek as she walks away. I send her a glare.
"Ya, that sounds great." Jason says.
"Ok. But... you'll need new weapons. Come with me." I say and lead him to my supply of Celestial Bronze weapons.
Most were daggers or knifes, but I even had melted down some of my old broken weapons to make bullets.
" Do you believe in Greek mythology?" I ask.
" I know some, but aren't they just myths?" He questions.
" If they were, I wouldn't be here." I reply.
"Wait, so your a demigod?" Jason says as he connects the dots.
"In a manor of speaking, yes. And unfortunately, with great power comes quests and prophecies. " I reply with a sigh.
"It'll be fine. The good guys always win anyways." Jason says.
"It's not that. The gods keep making enemies and us demigods have to fix their mess." I complain.
"How about this. When we get back from your quest, how about you and I catch a movie? " Jason asks.
"Are you asking me out on a date?" I question.
"Uh... yeah. I was sort of hoping you would say yes." Jason answered, rubbing the back of his neck.
"I would love to." I say with a small smile as a blush creeps onto my face.
